We came to here today with low tire pressure. Charlie helped by removing the rock that had caused the hole, plugging it and took care of our problem. We are grateful to have this small business in our area and SO appreciated the service that we received! We received immediate attention and we are thankful! Hard to find these days! 👍
I have used the shop a few times over the years. They are great getting you in last minute. One time my car broke down and I need a tow they said give them an hour and a half and they will be there. They arrived in less then thirty minutes to pick up my vehicle and they fixed it the same day. And to top it off they were kind enough to come and pick me up at my house when the work was completed. Thanks folks your great.
Had an intermittent brake noise and strong smell while traveling in our '92 Dodge campervan. we pulled into Branchport Automotive and Tom went above and beyond, squeezing us into his busy schedule, completely inspecting the front brakes and finding and fixing a loose brake shoe. The price was beyond reasonable and the peace of mind is priceless.
We were visiting Keuka Lake State Park when some of the electrical components in our Escape started acting crazy and spontaneously shutting off. We were very fortunate to stumble upon this shop nearby. The owner quickly diagnosed the problem - which was minor but would quickly have become huge - and sent us on our way. The bill was so reasonable and we were so grateful that I felt compelled to write this - my first-ever Google review :). Please send your car repair business this way!!
Never again so much wrong with this place go in for a wheel bearing and ends up being 4 other things that I pay for that they broke 450 bucks later just for a wheel bearing
HAD BREAK DOWN 2 MILES FROM YOU WITH TRIPLE AAA SERVICES THAT YOU SAY YOU HAVE...WAS VERY COLD OUT HAD TO WAIT NEAR 2HRS FOR BALD HILL AUTO FROM HONEOYE NY...BECAUSE THEY SAID YOU COULDNT MAKE IT...TRIPLE A SERVICES ARE INVESTUGATING THE POOR SERVICE FOR AAA MEMBERS AT BRANCHPORT AUTO...THIS WASNT THE FIRST TIME YOU COULDNT MAKE IT SO IV BEEN TOLD...GREAT JOB FOR NO HELP WITH AAA MEMBERS...DONT SAY IN YOUR SERVICES YOUR ALLWAYS THERE !!!!THATS NOT TRUE AND NOT HAPPY..SMALL TOWN NEWS SPREADS FAST ..LEFT ME IN THE VERY COLD NIGHT 10 DEGREES AND COULDNT HELP KNOWING THE TEMP OUTSIDE AND YOU LESS THEN 2 MILES AWAY !!!!THIS WILL HURT LONGTERM BUSSINESS WITH YOUR ACTIONS IN SMALL TOWN...THINK ABOUT IT YOU WOULD FEEL SAME WAY...THIS DONT END HEAR EITHER WITH REVIEW MORE TO COME WITH LACK OF AAA SERVICES..GOOD LUCK WITH FUTURE SERVICES YOU WILL NEED IT !!!
Great place to get all your car needs taken care of. Tom and the crew at Branchport Auto will get the job done right, and in a very reasonable amount of time. They have a fully equipped collision repair facility onsite and can handle all the insurance paperwork. They are a AAA towing service as well. I highly recommend this mechanic. They even have Saturday hours.
This place isn't perfect because you'll never find the perfect garage that'll hit the nail on the head every time, but Tom's been fixing cars for years and is very knowledgeable. So by all means bring your vehicle here to have it repaired.
I had my 1996 vehicle inspected and the owner loudly complained about the age of the car. I took the same car to him last summer and spent $1100 on parts and labor, wow, no complaints then! Keep your comments to yourself. FOLLOWUP: Tom the owner physically came to my house to apologize. Took character to do that.
My lady friend who shall remain nameless to avoid retaliation took her vehicle here for an inspection. After paying almost 600 dollars to fix a sensor light, it supposedly passed. Subsequently it was found that the brake pads and rotor on the passenger side front were so disintegrated that it was a catastrophe waiting to happen. One brake pad was so worn that the metal backing of the pad was even ripped off the mechanism and jammed in the rotor. A lifelong mechanic I took the vehicle to for a subsequent inspection of the brakes said that these were by far in the worst condition of any brakes he had ever seen, and he doubted that any mechanic during the inspection even took the trouble to look at them. He further added that this massive failure of the passenger side front brakes did not occur in the brief period since the inspection. A complaint with NYS DMV is in the process of being filed.
I have bought gas here many times and had some minor work done on my car and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The staff is great and they have good prices!
