ZERO STARS – I brought my vehicle here after hitting a deer in October 2025. My car was still drivable, so I continued driving it while waiting for them to call me back to schedule the repair.
Months went by with no progress. Each time I contacted them, I was told the same thing: “a couple more weeks.” They did not contact me once since the day I first went there.
On January 15th I called again and was told three weeks. By this time I had lost faith in my car getting fixed there and found another shop. As a courtesy, I called on March 5 to ask what their actual plan was, Scottie told me he could “sneak my car in,” even though I had already been waiting months just to get it scheduled. When I told him I took it elsewhere, he simple hung up.
Terrible customer service and extremely poor communication. I’m glad I took my vehicle down the road to Ott’s—they will had my car finished in less than 3 weeks.
Tallman Brothers was highly recommended, but after this experience, I definitely won’t be recommending them to anyone.
I recently had my vehicle repaired here after hitting a deer, and they went above and beyond. The work was flawless, and they even detailed it! This family-owned shop has always been helpful, and I trust them completely. Highly recommend!
We have taken two cars to Tallman's for collision repairs and both times the work was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, communication was great and the cars looked beautiful.
Brought my truck in for collision repair, and wow, Rhonda checked over my rental vehicle with a fine tooth comb before i took possession, catching stuff I would have never noticed!! Everyone there advocated for me above and beyond, catching things that weren't noticed at first from the accident, things that would have been a huge pain to get fixed after the fact, esp as it was the other driver's insurance paying the bill.
As someone else in another review mentioned, when I got my truck back, it looked brand new!! Even the inside was detailed so well that I thought I was driving a brand new truck!! It's a wonder I haven't gotten into an accident-- every day that I drive to work, I keep looking at the interior and how clean it is, lol! The floor mats even look pristine!! I hate getting in with any mud on my shoes cuz I don't want to ruin the look, haha!!
Thanks to everyone there at Tallmans for all they did for me, even sticking around an extra 15 minutes for me to get there after they closed in order to pick my truck up, and explaining the work they did! You all rock!!
Took my truck in for collision repair. Rhonda was awesome and helped make the claim paperwork way less overwhelming than I anticipated. When my truck was done, the work was absolutely stunning! Would never be able to tell pretty major cosmetic work had to be done! It's like magic lol The added bonus was they detailed and cleaned my truck inside and out so it was like driving a brand new vehicle off the lot. So so happy!
called up here to ask a simple question .. woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and told me she's busy she will get to me when she gets to me then hung up on me !!! clearly this is not the job for you if you don't know how to deal with the public!!!
I am please with the work that was done on my vehicle.
But the reason I am giving it one star is because the person at the front counter was very rude and always had an attitude when I called or stopped in to check on my car. If you don't like dealing with people than this is not a job for you.
They did a great job repairing my car after I hit a deer. The work was done quickly. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. When I got my car back it had been cleaned inside and out. It was like getting a new car.
Three cheers to Tallman Brothers in Silver Springs, NY, for the PHENOMENAL body work and repairs they did to my deer-demolished front end: $8K and worth every penny! The car actually looks BETTER than it did before the accident, plus they even washed it and vacuumed the inside. And the administrative assistant in the front office is also MARVELOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND TALLMANS!
