Our stay at Jellystone of Western New York in Java, NY, was nothing short of amazing! The park itself is beautiful, with so many wonderful amenities for the whole family to enjoy. Everything is immaculately maintained from the campsites to the common areas, the cleanliness is top-notch. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. Every single person we encountered was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to help. A special shout-out to Drew, and Ashley they truly go above and beyond to make sure every guest has an extraordinary experience. Their dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to making the park exceptional really shine through. You can tell they take great pride in ensuring visitors leave with lasting memories. If you’re looking for a clean, well-run, and family-friendly campground with outstanding customer service, this is the place.

We have then going here for over four years for Halloween activities there is so much to do and entertaining with games activities. He rides haunted houses trick-or-treating in for the summer then they have an outdoor waterpark, fishing, playgrounds, and a bunch of other fun activities. Highly recommended!!

They allowed someone to put their Huge food tent on our spot and when we said something about it Management got mad because we had to repeatedly ask to have it moved (after all we paid for our spot we should have had full use of our area) Its a sham we had been going there for 18 years. Update : The response that was given would require management to be retrained because it was a issue with the GM talking down to me for complaining and asking me to leave the park because somehow I'm wrong for feeling some type of way that I'm treated with such disrespect from the highest level of management on sight. I would like a Phone Call from the owner

We have been coming here for years.. this year was a year that may have made up my mind about coming back... the money we payed to rent the cabin does not make it worth it... we brought our dogs and family including granddaughters. The first night staying we had encounters with skunks. We had to keep the dogs inside. The skunks were about 5 feet away from us and going by the porch of the cabin and under it. I called the ranger and he said he was well aware of the problem he was at a cabin that got sprayed. Upon arrival to our cabin he ended up having to shoot a raccoon because there was so many of them and one got stuck in the fence. The foowong morning we had to bring our dogs home and keep them home.... the doorknob for the bedroom was broken and it locked my granddaughters in there... the floors of the cabin were dirty there was crumbs everywhere. The shower had mold on the walls... the pots and pans underneath were so dirty I literally had to scrub them before even thinking about using them... the can opener and the other utensils were all broken not able to be used. The garbage can had some black gross liquid all on the bottom of it.... if im paying the amount of money I did to stay the least it could be is clean and in working condition.... I could have put a down payment for Disney for the price..... the girls did have fun in the water that's about the only good thing... oh and the trampoline for the water has been broke for a few years now

This was our first visit to this Jellystone location. The amenities are wonderful for the kids and ours had a wonderful time! The facilities, as far as for a campground, were well maintained and often clean. Set your expectations correctly, however. This is not a quiet campground. People are listening to music and riding golfcarts around throughout the night. Most noise does die down around quiet hours, but you are super close to your neighbors and will still be surrounded by noise. It's definitely a fun place to unwind with family and friends!

We will not be going back here again. We spent almost $3,000 for three "premium" concrete pad sites for 4 nights and a cart rental. These premium sites are on a down hill surrounded by the only paved section of the park and the farthest point away from management and the office. This just invited young children to ride electric dirt bikes 30 mph + on the downhill section. It seemed like there was little to no enforcement of the park rules and speed limits. The electric bikes are quiet and don't attract the same attention as a gas dirt bike - but they are just as dangerous to the kids riding them and to the people not expecting to have a group of 10 year olds flying buy while you walk your dog. This would be illegal on a public neighborhood street. To add to the experience were surrounded by large groups of parents with young children that became increasingly less concerned with parenting as it got later in the day. If you are looking for a place to let your kids run free while you drink all day then I'm sure you'll enjoy the location, waterpark and two fishing ponds. The park was very full on a non holiday weekend so I'm sure until something really bad happens the ownership and management will not be motivated to enforce their own rules regarding safety.

Took a family trip for 4 days in a tent and we had a great time. The entire campground is crowded which is the only issue. Plant more trees and give a little more space and it’ll be perfect. Trash is picked up promptly by staff. Plenty of cheap firewood outside the camp but the firewood and ice onsite isn’t too overpriced. Entire camp store is reasonably priced. They have an arcade but I had kids so I avoided that place! Came here to get off screen time. The lake/water area is fun. Easily get crowded at peek hours/ especially the life jacket shed but still a lot of fun. Laundry available with an app. Outside activities are great! Not always the best organized, many young employees doing the tie dye workshop and slide so it gets a bit hectic. I’d go back, but hope to see more trees camping and get a camping vibe. I was in the tents near the wood playground so close to everything but they offer gokarts which was very nice too.

Perfect place to bring the family. Great starter camping, SO much stuff to do. Only thing they could improve on is the showers other than that, Amazing place will DEF be back next year

Stayed here for 2 nights with our young kids. Despite the rain, we had a great time. They had lots of cute events throughout the day and plenty for the kids to keep busy. Cabin was really clean and grounds were well maintained. Our only complaint was that some of the inflatables in the lake had partially deflated and no one seemed to know if/when they'd be repaired, and there was no ball to play gaga ball (maybe we were supposed to bring our own?) We'll definitely return for a longer trip next summer.

We were very disappointed with the cabin in several areas: description said kitchen equipped with toaster oven, dinnerware and place settings for 6 and screened in front porch. There was a toaster but no toaster oven (not a big deal just inaccurate description). Dinnerware was unusable. There was a burnt/bent up frying pan which we could not use and 2 saucepans-one with broken handles. We had to use the 1 saucepan to cook eggs, pancakes and breakfast sausage. There were only dinner plates for 4 and 2 ceramic bowls. |The camp store was not stocked with basic camper necessities like salt and pepper shakers and paper towels. We had to travel 10 miles to get these items. |The cabin was not clean. The floors looked like they had been hastily swept but not washed, the blinds were thick with dust and the stove was still greasy. We realize there are a lot of cabins at this park, and they probably have staffing issues like everyone else, but they should only rent what they can clean. |We received no instructions at check in-we had to ask where we plug in golf carts even though they told us in the rules to make sure we returned them fully charged. We had to ask for an activity schedule as we were not given one at check in. |We rented a golf cart which was filthy! Yes, the park has dirt roads, and it had not rained but for $80/day, they could have at least just sprayed them off. |The inflatables in the lake were not inflated and only 1 of 3 could be used. |The pools, water park, playgrounds, etc, were very nice, so it is a fun place to take kids. |Note: This review was written by someone who once owned 2 campgrounds with cabins, RV sites and tent sites.

We just got back today from Jellystone in North Java. My family and I have been camping at this location for several years. This place is absolutely amazing. There are so many amenities for the kids. The staff is wonderful and helps out wherever they can, even with special needs and requests. This year our air conditioner broke while we were there. We reported it and repairman arrived within 10 minutes and installed a new one. We are already setting up our trips for next summer! Thank you for helping us create so many wonderful family memories.

Was great until an employee of the park was observed budging in front of kids on the water slides. When asked about it he said he was working? This was odd as we didn't notice any other employees enjoying the slides that day. Staff informed us he was working. Also he was the brother of a manager and this type of stuff happens frequently. Not impressed. We had a great time just disappointed with that particular situation. We will be back someday.

Wow, what a delightful experience at this overpriced disaster of a place! Dropped a fortune just to shiver in water so frigid it could double as an Arctic plunge—on a 90-degree day, no less! My teeth were chattering louder than a jackhammer. Golf carts? Might as well have rented a Ferrari for what they’re charging. The bounce houses? Oh, just charming with blood splattered everywhere like a horror movie set. And let’s not forget the rusty screw my kid stepped on at the bottom of the water slide—super safe and totally not a lawsuit waiting to happen. Understaffed? You bet—probably because everyone quit after seeing the state of this place. The ponds? Barren, unless you count the two sad fish circling in despair. Save your money and sanity—steer clear of this icy, overpriced nightmare. Never coming back, and I’d rather swim in a freezer than give this dump another dime.

Oh, what joy in Java’s land, Where Yogi’s campground stands so grand. The pool’s a gem, a crystal freeze— A perfect place to lose your knees. No life vests clutter up the scene, It keeps things thrilling, fresh, and keen. Your kids will learn to swim real fast— Or sink, which makes the memories last. Golf carts? Ha! Who needs those wheels? Just walk for miles—that’s part of the deals. And shade? Why block the blazing sun? A lobster tan is half the fun. The general store’s a curated dream, With options few, a minimalist theme. A bag of chips, a soda flat— Who needs more choice than that? So come on down, don’t hesitate— For rustic charm that’s second-rate. At Yogi’s place you’ll truly see, How camping shouldn’t really be.

We absolutely love this place. The visit this summer was our second. The staff are all very nice and I had the opportunity to even speak with the manager. Unfortunately he was dealing with an issue (not their fault) and did an amazing job handling a difficult customer. The cabins are clean and the kids love the watersides and the water blowups. We don’t take advantage of the extra activities each day as my kids are a little too old for that but even at 11 and 13, they have a fun time with everything else and just being together unplugged is a wonderful thing!

We had a great time at Jellystone Park! The kids really enjoyed all the amenities, there was always something fun for them to do, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a family getaway. That said, we did have a few minor complaints. During Saturday’s scheduled activities, the sand art activity was replaced with candle-making due to a lack of sand, and then they ran out of wick for the candles. If you're going to have a published activity schedule, it's important to ensure there are enough supplies for everyone. We also stopped by the gift shop and were surprised they didn’t have sweaters for little kids. When we asked, the girl working there said they had run out. Being in upstate NY, you’d think they’d keep those in stock, especially for kids. Another thing, we didn’t know about the “spend $100 and spin the wheel” deal until another guest mentioned it. There wasn’t a sign or anything. When I asked if I could combine my purchases since I didn’t know, I was told no. The staff was friendly and helpful overall. Big shoutout to the maintenance guy who helped us with our refrigerator, he was super kind and even checked in with us later when he saw us around the park to make sure everything was working. The gift shop staff, on the other hand, could’ve been a bit more welcoming and helpful. Other than that, we had an awesome time and would definitely come back.

The park is loads of fun for a family to camp at. A mix of tent, RV spots and cabins. The water park is great for kids. The pond has an area for fishing, canoes and inflatable water tower, bounce pad which is unique. The cabins are aging a bit and could use some TLC including the decks needing replacement. Love that the park has a lot of activities for the family.

My wife, myself, and our three boys stayed in Cabin K6 in Java. We were there for four nights and had a fantastic time (even with a little rain day). The splash pad was a blast, the pool was great, but most of all the boys loved the inflatables. We were able to fish, participate in activities including crafts, bingo, and flag raising. The overall environment was very chill and we felt very comfortable and relaxed. It appeared curfew/noise was not an issue during our time there, as everyone was pretty quiet by 930/10pm. We had a hot water issue and maintenance was out immediately and didn't quit until the issue was resolved. They were super nice about it and we reassured then these things happen. The staff overall were very engaging with our boys and receptive to any questions we had. For a mostly college age staff (my assumption) I was impressed by their professionalism. Our cabin was super clean (we came prepared to clean it after reading prior reviews). Glad we didn't have to open those supplies. We will be booking 7 nights next year! Our boys already told us we have to! 🤣

So much fun for everyone! Our kids (ages 4 and 9) loved it! Staff is friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and in working order. Prices were reasonable. We rented an RV which was delivered and set up for us from Better Than Tents, and we will definitely be using them again and returning to Yogi Bear!

We’ve camped here a couple times and it’s an enjoyable experience. Especially if you have a golf cart. The water park and lake with paddle boats and canoes are the highlight. There are also plenty of playgrounds. It is a bit pricy & the noise curfew isn’t enforced. We had a couple restless nights because of loud music & late parties.

My family and I recently stayed in one of your Elite Premium Cabins (2 Bedroom with Loft) from Thursday to Sunday. Upon arrival, we were initially pleased with the overall appearance of the cabin—it looked clean and inviting. However, as we settled in and began using the space, we encountered several issues that impacted our experience. While we reported these concerns promptly, unfortunately, they were not addressed during our stay. 1. Missing Welcome Binder/WiFi Access The cabin did not have a welcome binder, which meant we had no information about amenities, including the WiFi password. While this may seem minor, it was significant for us as our 13-year-old son is profoundly autistic and relies heavily on internet access for comfort and routine. 2. No Broom Available There was no broom provided in the cabin. This became problematic as rain caused dirt and debris to be tracked inside, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness throughout the weekend. 3. Missing Shower Curtain and Rod The shower lacked both a curtain and a curtain rod. Each time we attempted to shower, water sprayed all over the bathroom, creating a mess and a potential slipping hazard. 4. Safety Hazard Over Fire Pit While sitting by the fire pit, we noticed a large broken limb tangled overhead in the tree directly above. This posed a serious safety risk, as it could have caused injury had it fallen. 5. Rusty Paint Can Under Sink We found a rusty paint can stored under the kitchen sink, which was unsanitary and concerning. 6. Broken dishes - the dishes provided to us to use were cracked 7. We lost power for over 3 hours. We were one of only about 10 cabins that lost power in the entire park, yet we paid top dollar for our cabin. A maintenance and housekeeping staff member did visit on Friday and attempted to address the shower issue by taping a curtain rod to the wall with duct tape; unfortunately, this was not a sustainable solution and the rod did not stay in place. The other concerns we raised were not addressed at all. While we appreciated the cabin’s initial presentation and enjoyed certain aspects of our stay, the lack of follow-through on maintenance and safety concerns left us disappointed. We hope you will take this feedback seriously and use it to improve future guest experiences.

Long-time tradition to come here with my family and camp. we always loved this place. Now I have grandchildren and wanted to start the tradition with them. I will start out with the positive things that I observed. I have nothing but good things to say about the current staff! EVERYONE was nice, polite, and helpful when asked. There's a lot of new upgrades and wonderful convinces added in recent years. The paved road was a welcomed site ☺️. The things that I can't help but notice is the lack of leadership with any of the young workers. Is anyone following up to see if the cleaning is getting done to a higher standard than what I'm seeing. The groundskeeping is slacking on all the ponds. The ladder to the inflatable dock is broken in 2 pieces and still being used. I brought it to the attention of the young worker handing out life vest. " The response was yes, we know it's been like that for a couple of years now!!!!! That raised a bunch of red flags for me! I have worked in the RV resorts business for 5 years now and know what it means when employees are not in a well supported leadership team. My sons family rented a cabin, and upon entering the door, I saw cobwebs in the corners, several tares in the linoleum flooring. The floors were still covered in dirt and not cleaned. There was at least 3 inches of dust on the back of the TV when pulled out from the wall! The first night, the smell of sewer gas was leaking up into the cabin. My son told the first desk, and they sent someone over to fix the problem, which was a plus. This place has such a huge overturn of guests and very little time to clean properly. Most of your employees seem to work hard but lack some accountability or leadership. Maintenance is very slack in areas of safety. The bathhouse down by the campers is always flooded, and the one up by the pools has a cat poop stench that is unbearably gross. The weeds in the swimming area and the cat tails are taking over. The price paid to stay here is not reflected in the appearance or lack of cleanliness. If you want to remain like this then lower your prices to reflect your standards.

It was an ok experience. All the included amenities were nice. However, neither TV in our cabin worked. Having to pay for firewood that was both unseasoned and wet was also a bummer. Finally there is an arcade and half the games are turned off. When it’s brought to the staffs attention you barely get acknowledged it ruins the experience for the kids

My kids had an absolute blast there is plenty for them to do, prices are pretty reasonable the beds are not the greatest but it's worth it. I do wish the store was more handicap accessible it was hard for my mom to get up the stairs. And people should watch there children better there were three children at the blowup obstacles bullying all the other children that tried to get on. If you can definitely get a golf cart as the park is huge.

We actually broke down on the way here and the GM Aaron happen to be driving by us, stopped and actually hooked up our camper and brought to camp for us and set it up for us while we are waiting for a tow truck to get my truck out of the road. TN workers have been nothing but awesome to us the entire time we’ve been here and continue to ask us if we need anything. Do not hesitate to ask. We will continue to camp here as this is our favorite place to come. They have a ton of stuff for adults and kids to do The place is kept up very nice. The GM Aaron is absolutely amazing as well as all the staff!!

As we drove through the gates of Jellystone we were so excited to see all the fun things our family would enjoy! However, our first experience at the water park was a young lifeguard yelling at the kids- “what don’t you all understand we close at 6pm!” Very rudely, at 5:55. Then the first night we experienced yelling and screaming at the playground until about 11pm, even though the playground shows a sign that closes at dark, when we asked about it the next day, we were told yes they do close at dark, but their quiet hours are 11pm-8am, so they do try and ask people to keep it down. The next night we experienced the same loud gangs of people at the playground again, the ranger came and asked them to leave. So we thought okay end of story. Well, for the first time in my 60+ years of camping we awoke to our fireplace blowing up- apparently someone thought it would be fun to put aerosol cans in the fireplace, considering the campsites are close, this could have resulted in a very serious situation. The Ranger came out and was apologetic, assured us the Owner would be following up. We left today and the Owner never reached out. The park it self has a lot to offer, however I would say that unless you are fine with chaos, mayhem and dust flying all over the place from the golf carts speeding around the campsite, I wouldn’t recommend visiting on a weekend. To finish the shock of the long fun weekend we had planned; my granddaughter was also shaken silly literally by a unaccompanied child on the playground yesterday. Goodness, I’d tell you I was thrilled to drive out of there this morning, and would not return.

I give 5 stars because this campground met all of our expectations. We enjoyed our stay very much. The weather kept us from witnessing the full splash park experience but our kid had fun for what it was. Cleanliness was well maintained, especially for the amount of guests that were there. Their rules are strictly enforced without sacrificing a good time. We can’t wait to return next year.

Stayed at the waterfront cabin for 4 days, 3 nights with our two infant children. This was one of THE best vacations we've had as a family. Our (almost) 3 year old absolutely loved the splash park going around the water in a canoe. The staff was very nice, and respectful. Sarah in particular really knew how to keep a good control on things in the water obstacle course. She was a clear leader! Thank you to everyone who made our stay one to remember. We will definitely return again soon.

Be aware that what you see on their website versus what is actually there and what you are going to get is different. We booked a wood/log cabin looking cabin, but to our surprise, it was a white doublewide trailer. All the walls are painted a white flat paint so the amount of scuffs and dirt and grime that you can see is just gross. Apparently, these are new to the campground and I can only imagine what they will look like in 2 years from now - they are dirty and the white shows everything! Also, they have a fireplace on the porch that they never hooked up. All this being said, we understand that the time that the staff has to "clean" the cabins before the next guests come in is a short window but there needs to be some additional time/maintenance given the price that they charge, and their website needs to be accurate!! The store has very limited items in stock. The tractor rides are fun for the kids especially with the bears joining but the bears have zero personality! The aqua inflatable's part and beach were closed and the pool is not heated (or clean). The water park area and the wooden playground is fun for the kids and is best during the week when there are not as many people. Lastly, I had reached out to the office numerous times befoe my trip to ask some questions and got zero response. The place has great potential but needs some love and care to get it where it should be for the price that you pay, and update their website, and amp up the staffing.
