Always fast service and great prices. You may have to remind him that your car is there a few times so that he doesn't forget to work on it, But overall a great place.
I've brought 3 different cars to these guys and I haven't been disappointed the pricing is reasonable and the timing matches the pricing. I'll be back again.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU AND LIE ABOUT IT!!!! They replace your good car parts with old car parts from junk cars. Brought my car in for steering rack and pinion to b replaced had my car for 4 days I come back and all 4 of my new Michelin tires are swapped off my car. They left my car oily dirty with grease stains on the driver wheel my hood, everywhere they worked. They don’t care when I tried to speak to them about it and were disrespectful. I’m Filing a report against them.
These lads where 100%. Asked for a simple fix on a hole in my exhaust was done in less than an hour amd 100% did not over charge and it was a Sunday. Very good people here I felt.
If you're a woman with no car knowledge do not come here they tried to scam me telling me i need my suspensions fixed i went back to my trusted Mechanic and he said my car is fine, mind you had I gone with what they recommended I would've wasted $400 for no reason.
& Also I got my catalytic converter replaced here for $500 and the check engine light has not gone away since then it's been 2 yrs now that the code P0420 doesn't go away.
I've used this shop for many years and through many cars. I've even brought other people I know there. They WERE the best at auto work in there hay day. Socrates is a great guy, but now he has a lot of incompetent mechanics and now some incompetent chic who is disrespectful to good customers who have to speak on his behalf? She is nasty and has no customer service skills at all. He will lose a lot of business. Nuff said
My 1998 Honda accord needed a new engine they were so helpful to accept me and fix my car I brought the engine to them and they was so nice. They are very wonderful people and hard workers who truly enjoys fixing cars. Thanks so much
Open by appointment or by request. Staff seems to be all the more fluent in Spanish speaking language and may require translator. As of today according to staff the Clothes. However they will be Hoping tomorrow at 8 AM for customer support
Labor charges are reasonable. Sometimes the garage is crowded and you need to park in the street until you are called to pull your vehicle inside. Overall not a bad place to service your vehicle. Will refer electrical troubleshooting to another electrical mechanic.
Beware going over there!!!! They will steal your good car parts and try to replace them with old parts from someone else’s car especially when the owner is not there!
These mechanics are pretty amazing. Everyone works very hard and as a good team here. Took care of replacing my car rotors (Which a different mechanic couldn’t loosen) at a very reasonable cost. At the same time guys are using old rotors etc as weights for training ( good recycling practice)
My favorite mechanics, they are on point when it comes to welding, mufflers, catalytic converters and exhaust systems. They also work on other parts of the car. They are honest and fair.edit 3/3/2022, These guys continue to impress, just left the shop, everything still stands true!
Came in for simple exhaust system repair, their parking lot was jam packed but somehow they managed to have me out within 45 mins of arriving. They replaced the rusted out pipe with a shiny new aluminum one and now my car is nice and quiet. Great job! Great price!
Executed a very tricky weld to replace a stainless steel flex bellows saving me from replacing a part that would have cost at least $600.00 more.

Its always the same, good quality fast service?, alright, where do i begin? First visit he told me he cant guarantee his work because in order to fix the small hole in my aftermarket headers he needs to remove and its expensive, so i told him to just patch and when new headers come il comeback and do the job, ok, 2nd visit the scum tells me the new headers dont fit because the flang from the old headers is missing and i need the front piece to extend? I looked at him and said ok, what does that mean? He proceeded to tell me i need and i quote "a special piece only the dealer has" i was like ok? So get it, he goes on saying its $300 and after quoting me $125 laber before its $175 to install, look you guys, its not worth dealing with the scum of yonkers to save a few $$$$ which you wont, his job is the worse i seen in my life and beside the drinks and the drugs they do the car will never be the same, just trust me stay away from that place, the patchwork he did fail with in 5 days and he try to scam me and make do $500 job that i got done in mavis for $220 with tip, look to each own but you were warned, also i might add i was going to insult but realize they dont speak any English? Like i said before, save your money and more importantly save your car, they manged to burn my 02 sensor because they are very incompetent. Plz stay away.
I've taken my car to them on more than one occasion. Each time they have done an excellent job. Fortunately for me when it comes to vehicle repair I don't need a smiling face I need a running car. They do smile when I pay the bill though, and I'm smiling driving out the garage. Its a Win-Win!
Don't waste your time with this shop. Needed my serpentine belt that broke replaced and an oil change, had my car towed to this shop at 10 am on a Saturday went by at around 3pm and nothing was yet done to my car ended having to pick up the next day on Sunday and the oil was not even changed. So what should have been an hour job turned into a whole day job so again do not waste your money or time at this place.
Recently replaced belt tensioner and after 4 1/2 weeks it broke off leaving two broken bolts still attached to the engine and disabling my car. I had no other issues until I went back to them so that they can reattach the parts. When I left the car started overheating. Drove right back to them and was told that they never touched anything else and that it may have been doing that before I came to them. Took it to another mechanic only to pay $520 for a new radiator and 1 fan. Very bad experience this time around and will not be going back.
Socrates and his team of mechanics know their trade, they're very skillful, efficient, quick and honest. I will most definitely go back if and when I have car issues. Thank you Socrates!
What more could I possibly say than a whole-hearted five star review? They were quite busy the other night when we dropped by, and yet they still fit us in, and got our car done in about an hour (it was a quick enough job). We had our own parts on hand, I just couldn't get the fasteners loose. They were able to drop everything in for a very reasonable price, and did a totally quality job! If I ever need exhaust work again, I will absolutely be back here.
