$$$$$. TOTAL BILL: $633 Just a heads up: they smoke inside the office, which can be a problem if you have asthma or are sensitive to smoke. I was stopped in Mamaroneck due to a suspended registration from outstanding parking tickets (STAY OUT OF DOWNTOWN YONKERS), and the officer immediately called this towing company—they arrived unbelievably fast. The officer addressed the driver by name, which made me wonder how often they work together.
The whole situation was overwhelming and traumatic, and their confusion about what was required to release my vehicle made it worse. One woman, I believe her name was Nicole, was genuinely helpful, but my overall experience was frustrating. When I called to arrange pickup, the person I spoke with never called me back, which resulted in me being charged for an extra day of storage at $85/day. The tow itself was $165.
After day five, they also send letters to lien holders, which comes with an additional $125 fee. The entire process felt extremely predatory and expensive, especially during an already stressful time. They also make you pay a $200 deposit to get your plates to take to DMV.
Had a bad accident beginning of October and car was taken to Vincent Service. They were very helpful after our scary experience. Monica was great to deal with. She even mailed us our license plates as our car was unrepairable.
