I'd give 10 stars if I could. My wife's car was leaking coolant and Joe and his team repaired it without upcharching me when most other shops probably would have. They took care of us.
I can't say enough good things about Joe, MJ and the whole gang at NGJ Auto. I was on a trip with my young son when my car died on 84. At my airbnb owner's recommendation I had it brought to this little place. They looked at it for some time, gave me the bad news that it was beyond saving given its age and mileage, but did not charge me a penny. They even patiently let me leave the car there for a week until I could arrange for a salvage company to pick it up - and EVEN THEN (because of logistics of traffic and parking) took care of dealing with the tow truck when it arrived. Asked for nothing. It was simply the nice thing to do, and they did it. Refreshing experience all around.

I was told by a shop in mount Kisco that I needed 2 new axles to pass inspection and was quoted $400 each. Joe was referred by a friend and he quoted me $250 each. I dropped the car off and he called me an hour later saying I didn’t need any new axles at all. Passed inspection with no problem and saved $800 ! I won’t bother writing a review of the other shop but I will never take my card anywhere else but to NGJ !
Joe is by far what are the best humans that walk this earth. He always make sure that you’re taking care of and that you’re satisfied with the work that’s been done to your vehicle. I can’t say enough good things about him.
Came on a Sunday, needed a hand with my under carriage cover, needed a temporary fix. There was 1 person working and took care of me. Really appreciate the help.

Brings "neighborhood shop" new meaning. Always greeted with a smile and are happy to help. Brought my vehicle for an inspection today. I was told by Joe, "Sit. Enjoy your coffee. We will have you in and out." Was in and out in 20 minutes! Here's a "go to" for any car repair needs.
Great mechanics and gas station. I needed NYS vehicle inspection and Joe took me right in to help as inspection was expiring. I hear my friends and family speak highly of this locsl auto service
I rarely take the time to review but I have to admit the staff here are amazing. If you need anything with your car this should be the first place to stop.
Joe has got a great bunch of mechanics that know what they are doing. He helped us out of a jam, and we continue to go buy gas, and take my Father in Law's car to him for repair. Highly recommended auto repair facility. They also have cheaper gas than other stations in the area.

A week ago my car started giving problems while driving north on the Taconic. I managed to make it off on exit 2 in Hawthorn. Limping we made it to NGJ auto. Within minutes Joe looked at the car told me what it was and the approximate cost. He said that the parts would be there in about an hour. Long story short , my car was repaired within 1.5 hours of pulling in. I find Joe to be friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly honest. He literally could have raked me over the coals.Instead he had my car fixed in an emergency for a cost of $170. Including taxes and fees. Unbelievable in these days. Will highly recommend this business.

Charged over $300 for rejoining an exhaust pipe connection. Was charged $55 for an 8 inch piece of pipe. Was charged an hour and a half labor . My invoice says welded, but i just see glue, and repair has slight sag now.
Warning!!! review was added after continueing to find tire inflation on NGJ serviced vehicle to have 19.5 psi on both front tires, and 39.5 psi on rear left! I have found this on several occasions! Car owner confirmed NGJ just did air again during their regular gas fiilup. These are new tires purchased and mounted by Joe's NGJ neighborhood shop.

I have been here many times and i have never seen a more honest and hard working auto shop. Joe is amazing and spent days testing out my car to correct my difficult steering issue.
Joe and his crew are excellent at diagnostics and resolving the problem and they are very fair on pricing if you need your car repaired this is the place

After a terrible experience with the dealer , on recommendation from a friend,I went to Joe for a 2nd opinion as I didn't trust the guy at the dealer who quoted me for repairs over and above the warranty work that was done. They took a look at my car and confirmed my suspicions by telling me nothing was wrong and that I could fetch my car. They didn't charge me a cent! My new car will go to them from now on for its services. Its so refreshing when one comes across honest people like this. Thank you!
Tuesday afternoon around 3 pm my car's temperature gauge was on high and ready to overheat and I brought it to NGJ Auto and Joe the owner said that the manifold gasket was blown ! He fixed the problem which took him 2-3 hours after his business was closed! I recommend this place to all my friends and more... Thanks Joe
From the quick service, incredibly fair pricing, honesty and compassion, I wholeheartedly recommend this business. I am not local and had to have my car towed there in a hurry, they had no problem with it being dropped off or diagnosing the issue. They even stayed later to fix it same day. They are A+++
Best experience ever! Joe the owner is the best! Got an oil change plus tire rotation in less than an hour. Kathy the receptionist is extremely friendly and helpful. Joe found a wheel bearing on my car which another local mechanic could not find. And gave me an affordable price for it to be repaired. Will be back next week to get the car fixed. This is now my go to place for any and all my car issues in the future.
