I run a small landscape company, i was on the way to alpco sometime in May. My trailer was overloaded with weight its a small wooden trailer not the best thing in the world but working with what i got. I was about 3 minutes away when i noticed smoking coming from the back of my trailer. No joke a mile away and my tire on my trailer blows up from the weight being to heavy the tire was rubbing against the wood of my trailer. I was out of luck and didnt know what to do and alpco was closing in 5 minutes. I called alpco and honestly just asked for help because i didnt know what else to do. They asked me where i was and asked for a picture of the tire. 20 minutes later two guys in a truck pull up and said there from alpco and they found a spare tire for me, they jacked up my trailer put it on and then let me keep my trailer at alpco over night, i went to tractor supply the same day and bought a new tire. The next day i went back early morning at open and there my trailer sitting there all jacked up again with the spare off waiting for me to put the new one on. Ive been meaning to write this for a while. Alpco may be a good spot to dump unwanted clutter, but the business is ran by some of the nicest people you will meet. After that i actually look forward to taking debris there, to say hi to the nice woman selling her homemade baked goods at the checkout window, and to possibly run into and have a conversation with some of the great people working there. I will continue to use Alpco in the future and recommend them to everyone i know.

Very convenient, and the staff are friendly and helpful, for example if you need help getting something large, like a boat, off of your vehicle or trailer.
First time at ALPCO didn't disappoint. I've always heard good things but they're a little far for me but went i went to my normal place I won't name, the line was long and didn't move so I ventured to alpco and it was great. Very fast friendly service , good prices, great experience overall, found my new scrap yard !
Impressive! A clean, organized recycling center with very nice, helpful staff. Their rates are great too. Sometimes I get money back if I have returnables That’s fun!
I’d give it 5 stars but the group counting returnables has been consistently off by ‘2’. When they are questioned, the response varies. Granted, it’s only 10 cents and that’s just it.
Had a worn out treadmill that I needed to recycle. Drove in, got weighed, backed up to a pile, pulled it out of truck onto the pile, got weighed again, went to the cashier's office, and got paid! I was in and out in under 15 minutes.
I have been to ALPCO twice now, and each time it was an easy process with helpful and courteous employees helping me. Recycling boxes, throwing out a toilet, recycling metal, etc. They made it easy and came to my car to help get the items out.
Went there Sunday 7/21 and the guy that was in blue building doing copper was great so helpful answered all our questions. By far one of the best since going there for years.The payouts aren't very good but I guess it's not Alpcos fault.
It is convenient and fast to drop off bottles and cans, but the last two times I’ve gone they’ve shorted me on count- both times right around a hundred cans. I count them as I’m bagging them up so I know how many I bring. I never argue with them, but the second time in a row this morning, may be better to go elsewhere.
I've used ALPCO several times for trash and metal drop off. The process is quick and painless, and was inexpensive to boot! I'll be back to drop off a bunch more as my home reno projects continue.

Legally recycled 820 lbs of bricks and patio stones. 3 cents a pound. Worth every cent! Friendly and helpful people in the office and yard. Couldn’t have been a quicker or easier way to do it. Yahoo!
I just discovered this wonderful place while recycling cardboard for work. Not only were the staff extremely helpful and kind, but we were able to save a substantial amount of money by not renting a recycling dumpster. I highly reccommend Alpco Recycling, and a huge thank you to all of your employees!
I rented a dumpster from alpco and couldn't be happier!! Darlene, the booking agent, is very kind, respectful and easy to work with. They have a set price no matter what size dumpster then you pay for weight. My cost was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than other places - even with a larger dumpster and longer stay. I highly recommend.
I scrapped a steel rim and emergency roadside jack from an old car I had gotten rid of. I will tell you I was a little confused when I got there. When I showed up in my car for the first time as a home user and not a commercial disposal company I thought to myself, am I in the right place? This seems to be for big garbage and dump trucks. Well, as a homeowner all you have to do is drive up to the blue building, back into a bay, and have them unload your junk. Then head over to the white building next door to get your money. I dropped off 22 lbs. of steel at $0.12 per pound. Now that I know how it works I would love to drop off more scrap metal for them to take. Thank you.
Been going to Alpco for years. Cheapest, quickest and best way to complete all your sanitation/recycling needs. I've saved so much money over the years. Picked up a few nails in my tires too but got good at plugging! Over all very satisfied and would recommend.
They make it incredibly easy to get in and out with construction debris, also pay well for old car batteries. The staff is always pleasant. I enjoy doing business with them. Keep up the great work !
Always a positive experience. From the friendly staff at the "gate house", to the helpful young adults who assist with emptying your car of recyclables, returnables, etc - makes the chore of managing my trash actually enjoyable. I've never waited more than 2-3 minutes at any of the easy-to-use stations for recycling, trash weighing, etc. The prices are very fair, especially when compared to the big waste management businesses out there. Happy to have found ALPCO!!!
We love Alpco! A cost effective way for us to direct our waste. We have lots of recycled materials, some bottles and cans, and a little bit of trash, so any other method would cost a lot more. Staff is helpful and they work really hard in all kinds of weather. Thanks for the great service.
Making a trip to deliver scrap metal can sometimes be a daunting task, the yards are chaotic and everyone seems to think they’re in charge but at Alpco recycling the process is simple and efficient. Their staff is always friendly and helpful and make the entire experience stress free. I recommend them to all my friends!

We've been going to Alpco for almost 2 years since we moved to the area. I think we have used all of their public services, from bulk trash to our weekly "regular" trash, recyclables and deposit bottles and cans. I've always had a pretty good experience here, but I also typically come in knowing what I am selling and with everything presorted. So overall a couple three stars, a couple five stars and a few four star experiences equal an overall four.
I do sometimes wonder about the weight of the buckets used, and how that's factored into the pricing since the containers are all different sizes, but frankly, if you're bringing in so little non-ferrous that a pound or two either way matters then you're not bringing enough in.
Know what you're selling and bring it in presorted and you probably won't be disappointed. Household wire, NM wire, bare copper, etc.
