I’ve come into this antique store quite a few times and have spent a good amount of money here. The problem they have now, is the woman working behind the counter. She’s mean for literally no reason. My wife was Just trying to get a price from an unlabeled bottle she planned on purchasing. She brought it up only to be met with the worst attitude imaginable. Fair warning to the owners and management here.. this is not the kind of attitude you want public facing. We were about to spend a lot of money there yesterday and put everything back and left immediately. It would benefit to have a friendly person working your front counter

I’m not sure if it’s because I mentioned I’m on a road trip from Florida or because I looked a little rough (again on a road trip). But the older woman who I presume was the owner was extremely nasty & condescending to me. I was very polite I asked if she would be interested in a beautiful pair of Italian retro red hand-made ALL leather disco boots from the 70s in perfect condition. She took one look & said to me that they were not appealing in which my response is as I wrote above and that I would take my business elsewhere. It would've been totally fine to politely decline. There were other customers there that clearly were locals and she was very nice to them hence maybe the other positive reviews. As I walked out the door after ((politely)) telling her that I would just take my business elsewhere I heard her make a snide remark "good for you" snickering with her entourage. If you are traveling and coming here for the first time beware! Also for telling me my boots were not appealing her selection of vintage clothes were not in good condition, made of cheap materials and smelled awful! So I know that she was just trying to be rude to me for her own personal issues.
Not very friendly. They don't say hello when you walk in and seem to be inconvenienced when you ask to see items in cases, and wouldn't converse when trying to engage them. I would have spent more time browsing, it just became awkward.
This is a very atmospheric place. All the towns around are beautiful, and this wonderful antique shop completes the fairy tale, in which I was lucky enough to get a couple of times. Thanks to the people who are engaged in such non-standard antique shops, America, and especially New England, remains a fairytale country for me. Thank you very much, you are something special
Huge antique store! My kid found deinonychus claw replica and I found a Brown Bag mold that cleaned up nicely. Excellent prices. Porta John is the only bathroom available but it was clean.
I always try to stop at this antique center when driving from Albany NY to Burlington VT. The proprietor and her 2 beautiful dogs are always there to greet you. I found 4 items I couldn't do without. I highly recommend
Nice place, loaded with memorabilia will take most of the people who stop back to a less stressful time, and put a smile on there face and have them saying" my mom had one of these ". Fun!
I have been coming to this shop for many years now, sometimes i purchase something and other times I just come here to relax and get lost in the treasures of the store. This will always be my favorite antique store in the area. I don’t know any store that comes even close to the amount of unique items. My most recent purchases have been snow shoes, a colorful blanket, lanterns, various colorful plates, and some fancy candle stick holders.
Nice variety of antique items. True antiques and not reproductions. Prices seemed reasonable. Large store. Didn't see a restroom for customers, maybe one if you ask.
I love this place! I always stop here on my way to see my boys. I always find new items for my collection of carnival glass. One of the best Antique stores that I go to. Highly recommend visiting.
Our very favorite antique shop in the New York/ Vermont area. Nick and Stephanie are always helpful, polite, and so knowledgeable. We love the atmosphere in their shop it's always clean, welcoming with fresh treasures to be found. We were there today and found the prices fair and the selection vast.. Please make Fort Ann Antiques a MUST stop on your way .
I always used to come here and have found many treasures over the years. However I was disappointed to find that employees do not wear masks nor do they enforce mask wearing in the store. So if you care about public health, maybe stay away until there isn't an ongoing pandemic.
Fun place to stop and wander through. Huge warehouse of collectables. Rotating stock everything from toys, old farm tools , costume jewelry to furniture. Keep going down the road and have breakfast or lunch at the Apple Diner.
In a region lacking ..this is something to do. A few antiques. Mostly items you don't need or really want. Service no. Watch out from cooking fumes from the cafe.but it's nice to shop memories and see if there is something to discover....but be ready...hard to find prices...you run to front desk a great deal ..or give up and skip buys...which they don't get..leads to less sales!
Great selection. Love that they have someone who dusts. It is clean. You know how you might ask at the desk if they know if any of the booths carry something particular, because that is very common? I felt like I irritated the lady owner, because of the way she answered, twice, I have 35 vendors here.
Very cool place...it is huge inside. So much stuff to see and all kinds of items. Found quite afew books in the book section and many other things I wanted. Lots of furniture, dishes and glassware and tons of knick knacks. Dealers here so prices were not standard but most were pretty reasonable
They have unique stuff. Furniture, clothing, kitchen supplies, tiny or large collectibles. Doors and windows that you could repurpose. I love that place.
Staff was not friendly upon arrival. Suggested I leave store and walk 20 yards to dumpster to dispose of a bag with a coffee cup so her dogs wouldn’t get it. Then proceeded to have a public episode with an employee who missed their shift. Would have made a$100 purchase but left and won’t return!
Open seven days a week, multiple vendors sell here so stock changes daily! Owner is super sweet and knowledgable about stock. ROOM FULL OF COLLECTIBLE BOOKS!!!
