I took about half of a small box truck load of miscellaneous scrap metal to M&B today, and I was greeted by a grumpy old man. He asked me what I wanted, and I told him, I wanted to see what I could get for the scrap metal. After looking through what I had, the grumpy old man said it wasn’t much, about 20 pounds and it was worth like 15 cents to him. He said I should save it and when I got a full load, to come back, or I could dump it in a pile over there, to the back of where we were standing. I was sure I had more scrap metal than he stated, so I declined to leave it or sell it, for him to profit from, whatever it was worth.
Note: At one point the grumpy old man stated, “so what do you want to do” with the junk? “you have already cost me more than what the junk is worth”.
Of course, I left, and I had it weighed and I had onboard exactly 120 pounds of scrap metal, and this was after I took out a used tire and steel rim, which I had onboard.

I really like these guys at M & B Auto Salvage even though it's mostly about scrap they've helped me out more than once with a couple parts for my cars ...really nice guys great to deal with would recommend them to anyone!!
