Thanks for being available to the community. Only thing is I checked times on Maps and it was wrong. They close at 1pm on Saturdays. Lesson - don't rely on Google Maps because there's tons of inaccuracies.
Hours clearly state Open 8am - 4pm on Saturdays... Arrived on Sat Dec 10th around 1:30pm to find the gate shut and Closed. Not a holiday, not a winter storm, no information on their website (which stated Open) and no answer on their phone. A very frustrating waste of time, now have to make another trip on a different day.
Website says they are open today but guess what...the gates are closed. Curious what this companies Mission Statement is. Apparently not to support the Jackson community. Time to contact the Attorney Generals Office. Tired of going over on Fridays and having the gate closed.
Such a waste, we paid for a up to date recycling plant. It was sold and the cost is up, but no maintenance, just bins that are full and messy. Where did our tax dollars go?
Charging to recycle? outrageous. you get it coming and going by businesses ... not to mention a flat rate?. So someone who owns a small vehicle that cannot carry much, gets charged the same as someone who has a big truck full of recyclables. it costs less to throw it all out. sad.
