Always answers the phone. Took my load of cans even when he had no bins. I am just impressed that he is straight forward, and let you know if he is closing early, etc. it makes a big difference.
My experience has been perfectly cromulent. I appreciate that there is a local Chestertown spot to redeem beverage deposits. My previous spot was 1/2 hour away and stopped their bonus redemption program.
Living in Horicon, I usually cover several errands on one trip but still check the hours before heading over. So far, so good!
I am owed money for bottles I took to the Lake George location 3 weeks ago. I have asked several times to be paid and do not understand how they can not pay for bottles they accept. I even gave a donation of 100 bottles! Please pay me the $110 you owe me.
The people there are friendly enough, however not as communicative as need be over the phone regarding what is needed to be done prior to your arrival. A few tips, they need your bottles and cans to be in completely clear bags, have all glass in a separate container, and they don't have anywhere to recycle non-returnables or a trash can. Ideally they want you to count every item before they count every item.
Nice folks but need to update the hours of operation on the website on a regular basis. It's been many occasions of getting there and finding the place closed when it says that they are open and having to bring my redemptions elsewhere farther away.
