For as long as I have been taking my truck in, I've had good experiences. I value them as part of the community - we are lucky to have them here. They treat me well, and when suggestions are made about repairs needed, I never feel like it's an attempt to upsell me into more billable work. I drive a 20 year old truck, and any place I'd been before finding this gem has tried to sell me services that cost more than the truck did. The owner is direct and up front, prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent.
The skilled mechanics who maintain our company vehicles all recommended the owner by name, and I'm grateful they did.
Harold and the team at the West Hurley Service Center are incredible, talented, honest and fair. Today, they quickly identified the source of a leak in our sunroof and AC and fixed the problem for $16.20! The dealer (Prestige Toyota) would have charged hundreds to "analyse" the problem. We will no longer take our 2007 Toyota anywhere else. Thank you, West Hurley Service Center.
Harold and his garage are the very very best. Yesterday I brought my car I thought something was wrong. He checked it out for me and took his ttime and said…no there’s nothing wrong. I went to Pay and was told… when we do nothing you pay nothing. This has happened a few times. When there is something to fix, they do it well, and they do it honestly. Since we moved from New York City, my wife and I have brought both our cars to Harold for the last 30 years and it’s always been a great experience. Highly highly recommend!
Weird to be screamed at for a trivial misunderstanding that resulted in no harm as they backed out of the garage while my car was trying to pass. Seem to need a break from their job or anger counselling. Yikes!
I arrived for an inspection on 5/13/22 at the appointed time of 3:30 only to have a young lady tell me my appointment was for the following week 5/20/22 at 3:30. So imagine my surprise at being asked to review an appointment that is still a week away. It's so hard to find good help.
Don't bother going here for brakes. I came here, expressed the concerns I had about my brakes, mechanic insisted nothing was wrong. He didn't even take my wheels off to really check.
I pushed a little, he found air in the brake line, bleed the brakes and sent me on my way. Today, I drove my car, had to brake abruptly, there was a horrible grinding/grumble under me and a low brake fluid message appeared on my dash—mind you, the fluid was full a few weeks ago.
I don't know if they were just too busy or dismissive because I'm a woman. I don't care about the cost—I just wanted a proper job done. It's brakes, it's important. Go somewhere where they listen to your concerns.
I’ve done nothing but try to give this place business but it’s just gets more difficult every time. I left it there to get my brakes done and they call me a day later saying they couldn’t get my wheels off because I didn’t have the right lug nut key. I’ve had these wheels on for 3 months and I’m the one who put them on in the first place. West Hurley garage is the only place that has ever taken them off so for me to not have the right key means that they lost it. Never going back here again
