Closed over 10 mins early, and wouldn't answer the phone, then took the phone off the hook to avoid answering. What a waste of time driving 30 mins and they can't even stay open until there advertised time.
I stopped by the Groton Teets this morning to recycle almost 500 pounds of lead/acid batteries. This was my first trip there and everyone couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They helped me unload the batteries and gave me a fair price for them. Fast and effficent.
Been there twice. Depending on who can be bothered to help, is how well your treated. They don't like being told they are wrong even if you have decades of experience with what your returning. The manager was to busy to be bothered. The only good person there is the sweet lady running the scales. She's a good person and doesn't deserve to work in such a dump. I will never return to a place that says on a price list what they pay, then once they take it, they run in the office and pay whatever they feel like. It's corrupt and theft. Someday hopefully the better business beauro, will shut this place down.
Very honest. I had car towed and scrapped by them and forgot to get my money. Months later a very nice woman called to remind me I had quite a bit coming and she didn't want me to miss out on it. Wow, I was impressed..And the truck driver was very professional.
Worst place ever the person that was running the scale was wrong on the poundage of what I took in and wouldn't give me the right amount not taking my stuff there anymore
Been to multiple yards to check out prices and this place was the lowest and by a large margin. Brought 6 converters and a DPF all with VIN numbers and the prices they offered were straight disrespectful. Absolute crooks.
We are fortunate to have such a fine establishment as Teet's & Sons in our area. Easy to get to. A great group of people with superb personalities and a true desire to reward their customers properly.
