Manor Motors was super helpful in replacing the two front tires of my VW Golf. Rob was friendly and communicative, and he even took the Golf for a quick test drive to make sure nothing was amiss. Would definitely recommend this spot to anybody in a pinch in the area.
Got my 2021 black bmw x5 M in for repairs after going into a ditch. Corey and everyone else have been professional and keeping me up to date. So far so good. Will update the review when i get my SUV back
I had an accident on Rt. 17 just outside of Roscoe, NY. I was fortunate enough to be towed to Manor Motors, where they put my car on the lift within 15 minutes of its arrival.
Within half an hour they had identified all the things that needed fixing, and took me in to explain everything in detail.
I was happily surprised at how friendly and efficient everyone was, right down to the office staff.
They fixed everything possible right away, but unfortunately had to wait for a part. The kept me informed on the progress, and when the part arrived they put it in right away. They did not try to sell me anything that wasn't necessary for me to drive the 100 miles back to my home, but I elected to get most of it done with Manor Motors anyway because by then I had total trust in them.
When the bill came, I was doubly surprised because it was a lot less than I had expected.
You don't run across good service like this often, and I appreciate their professionalism and good communication.
Manor Motors is a Sullivan County/Livingston Manor based mechanics shop. They are open early, are quick to pick up the phone, and are a special kind of neighborhood friendly.
We had a bit of car trouble on my way from Brooklyn to the Catskills. We called ahead to make an appointment and our car had a full review, all fluids topped off, tire pressure checked, and an oil change. They found the source of my worry and had it adjusted. Everything was done in under an hour and a half, I got a neat invoice with all the points, and I got my little oil change sticker.

This place is a life saver! Our engine was misfiring. They took us the same day we called. They worked on it, tested it, and ran diagnostics. Cory and Rob figured out the problem. They fixed it next day. They picked us up and dropped us off at the motel. Now we can safely take our trip down to Florida with confidence. Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

We were three hours away from home and the engine light went on And the truck started to hesitate For a mile or two and then it went away. We were reluctant to stop at a Mechanic shop & Possibly get taken advantage of. Kory and his shop manager did a diagnostic test took it for a test drive and guaranteed the truck was OK to continue it on our journey. we could’ve gotten taken fully advantage of Being at the mercy with the truck in the shop on their lift. We would recommend using them anytime
We are from CT and while on our way to PA an almost 7 hour drive, our vehicle broke down leaving my husband, 2 children and I stranded in the middle of no where. We were so blessed to have connected with Manor Motors where we towed our vehicle to. Even though it was the end of the day, they took in our vehicle, quickly found the issue, and got to work. The owner and the employees were all so caring and friendly. Since we had an appointment the next morning, we chose to rent a car to continue our journey and return for our vehicle the next day. The owner's mom showed up to give us a ride to the nearest car rental establishment which was pretty far. I am deeply grateful for this family and their business. Their attention and care removed the stress andnwe felt secure in knowing that they would take care of us. The cost of the repair was very reasonable. Thank you Manor Motors!! The service we received at Manor Motors was incredible. We had an engine light and severe shaking on our drive the day before Thanksgiving with two little kids in the car and happened by their shop. They could tell we needed a hand, quickly diagnosed the problem, ordered parts and within two hours had replaced two ignition coils and spark-plugs and got us back on the road. Amazing work, thoughtful, kind, considerate and communicative. They clearly care about their customers and love their work. We would use them again anytime and recommend anyone in the area do the same.
I was traveling upstate to the Catskills on a Sunday a couple of years ago when my check engine light came on and my car engine making noises. Not one automotive shop was open and I was desperate. I drove off Route 17 to Manor Motors and the shop was closed as it was Sunday. I looked in the window and saw a light so I knocked. Well it was the owner and I was with my small daughter and we had just adopted a baby Pit Bull. Anyway he opened the door and he did something to my engine to let me continue driving. He wouldn't charge me a dime. That just doesn't happen anymore - Anyway he spent some time on my car and was my Savior! I highly recommend him. I'm so happy I finally got to write a well deserved review.
My kids and I were on our way to NYC when we had a leak in our tire. Donovan and staff there was friendly, quick and fair. He put a plug in the tire and we were finished in less than 15 mins. We made it back home with no issues. Thank you ??

Cory & the crew are great over at Manor Motors. I have taken my vehicle to the shop several times for various repairs over the years. They are professional and thorough. My most recent visit, I had an urgent issue that needed immediate attention. They fit me in the very next day, and had my car fixed and ready to go by the time I was finished with work. I highly recommend this service station.
I called to get an oil change and set up an appointment with them because my vehicle had the needs maintenance notification. I arrived the next day for my appointment and my vehicle got seen on time. I waited in the waiting room while they worked on it and they got rid of my needs maintenance notification.
The staff was friendly. I had an enjoyable experience (though I spent most of the wait time playing a seated VR game on my quest so I can't really speak of the waiting experience without it)
Overall an A+ experience. They didn't try to upsell me either.
Our car broke down a few hours from home and the guys at Manor Motors did an amazing job diagnosing and fixing the issue. We brought it in just before closing time and they had us back on the road the next morning. They went out of their way to make sure that we were taken care of in every possible way.
We were driving near Livingston Manor when our car suddenly died and the check engine light came on. We took it to Manor Motors with the check engine light on and once we arrived they squeezed us into their schedule to check it out. For over an hour multiple mechanics checked the car and tried to find the issue. Amazingly the car was running fine and they did not charge us for the time and labor they spent checking the car. They were very nice and professional and I'm sure lots of places would have charged us even though nothing could be found. Wonderful experience and much appreciated.
I was camping in the area for the weekend and my car was overheating (scary). I called 20 minutes prior to closing and they took my car in. I needed to replace the radiator. Corey was life saver! He explained everything in great detail. Planning on going back to replace other items.
The serpentine belt on my 99 Jeep Cherokee split apart while driving on the highway. I went to Manor Motors because they were the closest auto repair shop. They took care of the problem quickly and everyone was really nice. Tanya at the front desk even gave my Chocolate Lab some bones and a bowl of ice water! Thank you!
We showed up with a flat and they went above and beyond to get us back on the road, including sending someone to pick up a new tire for us since we had no spare. Highly recommend (and at a fair price.)
My girlfriend and I were on a 4 hour road trip into Cooperstown, NY. We were 2 1/2 hours away from home and nearly 2 hours still to go until our destination when my car broke down. We were beyond lucky to be close enough to Manor Motors. The entire staff, from front desk to the mechanics themselves, were incredibly professional. Because we were not familiar with the area and basically stranded without a car, they not only fixed my car as quickly as possible, they went above and beyond in helping us find a nearby hotel for the evening, telling us about local food spots, and they even DROVE US TO THE HOTEL without hesitation!! My car was fixed first thing the next morning, and we were able to salvage our little vacation! I recommend this place not only for their timely work on my car, but for the sheer hospitality they demonstrated when they certainly didn’t need to! 5/5 stars isn’t even enough!

Had an check engine light on during a long trip near this garage. They quickly checked the code and did a reset as not catastrophic failure. Continue driving for another 800km and luckily no issues. Folks there are very friendly and helpful and did not charge me a cent for what they did. Very much appreciate that!
Came here to get my front brakes and rotors done before a long trip. Pick up my car next day and when I get home I look at my tires and notice my front rotors are rusty. My brakes that were suppose to also be changed were dull looking. I also noticed one of my nuts on my back tire was broken and my tires are making a funny sound when I drive since I left them. Took my car to my local mechanic to have him check if they were changed and he said neither my rotors or my brakes were changed yet I got charged for it along with $180 in labor. Went back to tell them my brakes and rotors were never changed and it was blamed on a young mechanic. Telling me he put new brakes and rotors on the wrong car and those people left with new parts for free. They gave me a refund because there’s no way I was letting them near my car again. When I mentioned the nut and the noise my car was making I was told that I was making things up. I am very aware of what my car looks and sounds like at all times and they definitely did something to it. Can’t prove it obviously but I know it wasn’t like that before I dropped my car off. I do not recommend this place and will never be bringing my car to them again. Neither will any of my friends and family who do use them.
I was in Roscoe for a long weekend fishing and my Jeep broke down on Friday afternoon. I walked into the Rockland House Bar and asked if anyone could recommend a local mechanic that would be open. A guy told me to call Manor Motors so I did. Rob was there within the hour to tow (flatbed) my vehicle back to the shop. Everything was checked out and repaired by 10am the next (Saturday) morning. The guys here are courteous, thorough, fast and good.
I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and I’ll be a regular customer if I lived there.
My car broke down on the way to Connecticut just my luck Manor Motor was there to help. Mechanics were friendly and very helpful with fixing my motor mounts and axle. They made sure that everything in the engine was fine on top of double checking any further damage. Awesome guys who give you great service to help you in a jam.
Great Guys & Great Service. I lost a pulley that shredded my serpentine belt coming back late on a Friday afternoon returning from a trip to NYC with a cargo trailer in tow and these guys saved me from a disastrous trip, had me up and running in under an hour. I admit I was in the middle of nowhere surrounded by good old country mountains when this happened and I thought I was going to be stranded. Thanks so much.
Corey really saved my bacon. My alternator went out on my Lexus ES330 while passing through Livingston Manor on a recent vacation. I was planning to drive 13 hours back to Kentucky when my car died.
Even though Corey and his crew were shutting down for the day when I arrived (Saturday afternoon), he was able to order a replacement alternator from a neighboring town and have it delivered the next morning (on a Sunday, Father's Day no less.)
Corey drove me to Roscoe where I stayed for the night. On Sunday morning Corey installed the new alternator and changed a belt and my oil. He then drove to Roscoe to pick me up and drive me back to Manor Motors to settle up.
I highly recommend Corey and Manor Motors. He was extremely friendly and fair, and went well beyond the call of duty to help me get back safely on the road and back to Kentucky.

People are very friendly, but BEWARE. Watch them VERY CLOSELY. I was taken in by their friendliness. I had my vehicle inspected and they never checked the horn nor emergency brake, which prior to inspection I knew didn't work. I was expecting them to fix it. I left and found out they never even checked it. Which makes me wonder what else they didn't check. I let them kow and they apologized and I figured, ok things happen. I went back to have an oil change which they said INCLUDED, OIL, LUBE, and FLUID check. They charged me $40.00. I knew my transmission fluid was low, so when I picked up my vehicle I checked it in their lot, and it was STILL LOW. They NEVER checked it!!! I went inside and again an apology and they topped it off. As I drove away I noticed my front end was squeaking as it was prior to going in. This was one of the reasons I wanted this done. I pulled over and checked my front end joints, and they were completely DRY. The grease fittings were not touched and there was NO grease in the joints. Again I addressed this and they said there were NO FITTINGS. I pointed to the fittings and asked what these were. I got a funny look. I just got in a drove away. Several weeks later my mother who lives just down the road from them was using the vehicle and the brakes went, and she took it there, against my warnings. There was a rusted brake line and they replaced it. However, the bill was for 3 hrs labor, while she was only there for 1 1/2 hr. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. NOT RECOMMENDED. I am reporting them to NYS and the BBB.
