I was there and the price I got was $39.00. The gentleman was a new employee and was on phone (FaceTime) with the man who works there normally. The price was set and I was ready to go and collect my cash. The employee who was on FaceTime came in the room and re did the pricing. It was 12.00 bucks less!! I was robbed of my money!! I know metals and I know how they determine clean metal from dirty metal. This guy was just not right. Screwed out of money supposedly the new man wrote the ticket wrong. The new guy didn’t write it wrong. The gentleman who has been part of woodwork lied. Pissed off. That he changed price the new guy was wright.
Set up twice through peddle to get my car scrapped and no one came im angry I got a fine from the town and these people don't even answer. I called multiple times in a week at all different times and nothing.
Edit it's been weeks and still nothing guess they don't exist
Terrible scrap yard. These people are never around in the shop during hours that they are open and the times they are they are extrely slow. Not to mention the worst scrap prices on the island. The whole shop would be open with no employees in sight. The boss isn't even in sight. I'd advise people to stay away from this shop.
Was assigned them by peddle to pick up a junk car over a month ago. Called many times and no answer. Zero customer service still waiting for answer as to why they cancel. At this point I will keep the car
This place reached out to me about picking up my "junk"vechicle this past Sat. I was told on Friday that vehicle would be picked up on Sunday even though I knew it was a holiday. Driver called me Sat to confirm pickup on Sunday. I left a family function over an hr away to be home at time of pickup. NO SHOW! LEFT MESSAGES/TEXTS. COMPLETELY IGNORED AS IF MY TIME WASN'T WORTHY OF THEIRS! BAD BUSINESS. CALLED TODAY AND MAN THAT ANSWERED WAS VERY RUDE. CALLING AMOTHER COMPANY. I WOULD NEVER GIVE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE ANY BUSINESS.
I was assigned them by peddle to pick up a junk car. Reached out to them several times by phone call but each time no one answered. I sent two separate responses to the email they sent but they never responded. Do not waste your time with Hesh. Clearly they don't want the business as no other solution exists for why a business would blatantly ignore customers so much.
Went through peddle - if you get this place assigned as a provider I highly, highly recommend that you ask for a different provider. These guys will waste your time and lie to you.
I had an excellent experience with Hesh’s recycling today. I was referred to Hesh’s by Peddle.com for pick up of my used truck. Hesh’s contacted me promptly to set up a pick up time. They arrived on time with cash on hand. The gentleman who picked up my vehicle was kind & courteous. I would definitely recommend Hesh’s for the removal of any unwanted vehicles.
Horrible. No concern for anyone. Made appointment to have car picked up. They never showed. I had to call him, he said they will be there, had to call his employee and wake him out of bed?????? Four more hours pass and no phone call or anything. So I call again, now he sais for me to call his employee! I say no, it's his employee he needs to deal with this. He sais he will call back. No phone call, so I call again. No his truck is broke down. STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE BUSINESS!
good guy honest hard to find a honest place also he is the smaller operation in town like a mom and pop type of place 6 and a half on tin 7 and half heavy steel not bad least u know that its the right weight
Terrible company . 2 times they were a no show at our scheduled time. Total lack of respect and concern for their clients and the valuable time they wasted .
Called in regards to a part twice. First time nobody answered. Second time someone answered, talking to someone else, mumbled something then hung up. Guess they arent getting my money
Actually, make that ZERO stars. This company must be run by 3rd graders. They were supposed to pick up a car due for donation. Keep in mind, a running, driveable car. For charity. When I do ally managed to get an appointment, they didn't show up. I called to see if I was being rescheduled (yes, I called THEM) , and they used the old lame excuse about having a flat tire. (Yeah, I know). Anyway, they proceeded to not show up at all, or call. They lie, they are lazy, they are inconsiderate, and the worst "company" I have ever dealt with. I do not recommend this place to anyone. In advance, you're welcome.
