First time was treated like a king compared to the other yards and the prices were better then other yards. Very helpful and willing to take the extra time with newbies to scrapping. I will definitely be back because of the prices and attitudes.

I've been to both locations to scrap various metals I have through my side welding business. All I can say is that they are simply the best. They are loyal to their customers and always give the best prices. They take care of everyone like family. Mark and his team are my go-to. Fair honest scrapping. After visiting numerous scrap yards in the past, I have found Arrow Scrap to be by far the most reputable company on Long Island. They have proven time and time again to be honest & efficient. The service is quick and great! I had a wonderful experience with Arrow Scrap. I'm a environmental coordinator in a metal finishing company and I need to be in compliance with EPA regulations, which it wasn't a problem at all since Arrow Scrap provide a certificate that allows me to be in compliance with everything that I need. I'm sure I'll be back as soon as I need to recycle my e-waste again.

I trusted them only to find they did not pay the price they quoted me for my copper. They quoted me for insulated copper $1 a pound, it's on there webste, but paid me .35 a pound on 200 lbs. MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM WHAT THEY PAY BEFORE YOU WEIGH IT!!!!! This rule holds true for any scrap yard. Beware.

I won't ever go there again. I've been scrapping here for a while. I've been doing heavier and heavier loads, and noticing diminishing returns. For spits and giggles, I made a note of the weight at the start of unloading, and after unloading. On the way out, a gentleman there said to me, "just let me see your receipt because when we punch it in by hand, sometimes we make a mistake with the zeros." This prompted me to check my receipt and add up the weight on the receipt. Long story short, they shorted me about a thousand pounds. That's QUITE the short. Now I'd understand a couple hundred pounds here and there due to different scales, but around a thousand pounds is a slap in the face. They boast the best prices for scrap around, and they'll give you the best prices, but ALWAYS check your receipt for the weights.

I went to Arrow the other day and had a great experience. Their place was clean, everyone was so nice and I can’t believe how fair the prices we’re on all different types of metals and electronics. It’s family owned, Rob, Don, Mark and Joe were so helpful and their scale operator was just as great. I would recommend this place to everyone! Loved it

Joe and Don were great at helping our library recycle some of our e-waste! They were on time for pickup, very nice and very helpful when it came to getting our electronic equipment out of the building in the quickest time possible! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking to get rid of e-waste because they come to you and that is very convenient!

I have nothing but great things to say about arrow they are the fairest place you will find others look to rob you blind and when you question there pricing they tell you can pack up and leave I have never had a bad experience with arrow I. Fact they always remember who you are ask if they can help always give me t-shirts for my kids and have always been fair with there pricing and the only place that will let you put your scrap directly on the scale because they have nothing to hide and I have been coming to them for years even when they were on straight path great people very respectful would recommend to everyone

First time going their and they messed up weighing the van after we unloaded over a thousand pounds of cast iron radiators and boiler. Had to wait for them to figure out what was going. then after much confusion they decided to pick it all up with a fork lift and put it into carts to weigh it inside. what should have been a 10 minute transaction ended up taking a full hour. Ridiculous and unprofessional. go to 2 Brothers in Farmingdale instead.

Cleanest to scrap Yard on Long Island best bang for your friendly organize staff!!! Every time I come here I feel comfortable and I feel like I get it I deserve unlike other scrap yards where you go in and I feel slimy the scrap yard always leave me feeling like I had the best experience possible

Me and my friend saw Add these people saying bring old TV and they going to pay we went we took all TV outside after weight thye said thye cannot paying anything if we want to give them free thye can keep it fraud people fake advertising we waisted our time and hard work never go to this place totally fraud

The Best place on LI to sell your scrap. The prices are according to the market, and you will never get lowballed on price. Too many other Scrap yards out here will screw you over if you're not educated on what you are selling.

All around by far best scrap yard that I know of, most importantly highest pay outs, and just an all around pleasant visit each time I've been there I'd love more than anything to see them put "2 Brothers" completely out of business nothing would make me happier then to see those thieves go down
