Worst experience with AAA assigning this shop to change a battery in my driveway. Driver Raphael did nothing requested of him. Do not waste your time with Raphael, he is lazy kid, no work ethic. He did not change my battery, told me he would jump my battery so I could drive it to Sam's club, then asked me for jumper cables, tried to get more money then quoted by AAA. Didn't change my battery, complete business failure. AAA is now sending a qualified driver to replace my battery, as originally requested.
Follow up:
AAA sent out another service and the battery was immediately replaced, no questions asked. I was on my way.

Was assigned Woods Towing by AAA when I got a flat today on the LIE near exit 69S. Originally thought I’d be waiting an hour and a half, the tow truck driver was there in about 20 minutes, and apologized for making me wait. I told him I wasn’t waiting long at all. He explained it would take about 10 minutes for him to get the equipment and change the tire. He pulled my spare and changed it for the chewed up flat, then took the time to protect the back deck of my minivan with a black trash bag I had before putting the bad tire in the van. Driver was a very nice, respectful young man and I appreciated his concern for the tire making a mess. I definitely recommend Woods Towing.
Horrible horrible horrible service. The road service driver was extremely rude didn’t say hello didn’t acknowledge anything had an angry look on his face when no one forced him to work for a tow company. Complete utter disbelief. Definitely didn’t get a tip he’s lucky he got a thank you. Do better woods towing you guys are known for bad customer service
Rafael came out from AAA about a week ago and tested my battery which stated to replace it. Luckily I bought it through AAA and it was still under their 3 year warranty! Boy was I wrong about that warranty! Unfortunately, Rafael refused to replace the battery and seemed to use every excuse possible in avoiding the task.
He first quickly stated they do not change out batteries in the driveway if the battery is not easily accessible - not true as I bought this battery from AAA and had it installed in my infiniti in my driveway AND customer service confirmed this is not the case. The serpentine belt had just been replaced I told him and so he then took a look at that and claimed it was not installed correctly which seemed fishy right away. I then called the mechanic who installed the serpentine belt and they immediately came out and dismissed the nonsensical claim and assured AAA was wrong.
There is no reason AAA should not replace a bad battery that is under warranty - plain and simple. If Rafael was so convinced it was the belt than why not just replace the battery and prove me wrong? If AAA is seeing the battery state "replace" why are they not replacing it!? I had to call member relations for them to approve it but of course Rafael was not willing to wait around 5 minutes while I got ahold of somebody. Unprofessional and a stain on the great services AAA used to provide their customers.

Engine Oil and or Hydraulic Fluid is on my Driveway. EPA I will call them soon, to report this issue. And Suffolk County Police Department Motor Carrier Unit will be notified. ASAP
DRIVER indicated to me I should have told him what is wrong with the vehicle. He asked if it moves, I said NO. I explained this to Triple A.
The DRIVER then to me like I was his son or Co-Worker, "You should have told me what was wrong ? I get off at 6:00PM I don't have time for this" His words not mine.
This is not the first time I was involved with WOODS TOWING. I waited for a friend that needed a tow, WOODS Towing was involved, not a great experience The owner of the vehicle called me for a ride back to their home and the passenger as well.
I tried calling WOODS Towing no one answered the phone at the office.
If you are a Towing business why is SNOW on the Bed of the truck, SNOW flies off while the Tow Truck is in motion.

Michael the driver was super nice and helpful, if I could give more stars I would , I recommend Wood's Towing % if you need a tow call them you can't go wrong
Called AAA to tow my car and they use these clowns. They were told what was needed to do the job. And they show up unequipped to do the job so they just left. They are also very rude!

They got to me very quickly and at a reasonable rate. The car is low and they had everything on the truck to assist it on without scraping a thing. Very happy with their service!

Breaking down is never something people want to do but tonight I got stuck in Bellport. Woods towing arrived faster than I expected, they were extremely helpful and got my truck back home for me. THANKYOU!
I requested a driver I’ve dealt with in past. They question me as to why then hand up and ignore my calls. My recommendation is to use another tow company. These people are trash
VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL the so called manger came and picked up my van put his hook on my axle. bent the brake line as he tightened it on the axle it slid over bending the line. as you can see in the pictures i zoomed in on the picture before he put the hook to show how the line was running along the axle so which then proceeded to tell me that thats how it was and that it’s supposed to be bent like that and his hook never touched the line. which i have the pictures to proof because he saw me notice the hook on it while we were waiting on where to drop the vehicle because i followed him to my mechanic so which he asked me to move from the truck so he could back up and drop it down off his truck so before he unhooked it from in between the line and off the axle i took a picture so then after that he told me that lying just to scam him when i confronted him damaging the line guy was rude from the jump. got into a argument him being the so called manager and driver he then started to cause a argument in my mechanics yard so which he called me a liar bum and told me his company wont do nothing for me because hes been there for so long and so he went on his way so i called and asked to speak to the owner or anyone higher up than him which the owner answered let me speak to him for a brief moment then lets his manager get on the phone and disrespect me for a second time this time while he sat right next to him on speaker phone and allowed his worker to speak to me like that i will never use this company ever or let anyone i know use them its outrageous how the owner and employees treat there customers not surprised at how there reviews look
I Had called them last night around 9pm for a lock out service for my car because I locked my keys in the car . The driver told me he would be about 30/45 min . After over a hour of waiting I tried to contact the driver to see where he was . Well they stopped answering my calls and had me waiting for two hours at my car to not to show up and wasted my time . Do not use this company they are shady and do not do good business. I ended up calling ELITE TOWING and they was there within 30 min and got my car open .if you guys want to use a more reliable fast friendly tow company elite towing is the way to go.
My driveway is sloped, as is the street in front of my house.Tayvon took a lot of time and was especially cautious to get my car up on the truck without scraping up the front fender. Thank you!
Great service! I broke down on my way to Montauk on Friday with my mom. I called AAA and they sent a tow truck from Wood's Towing. They responded immediately and the tow truck driver, Michael was amazing! He was very personable and helpful. Michael treated us like family and really helped turn our day around. Thanks to their quick response we were able to get to Montauk to celebrate my moms birthday. Thank you Michael! You are the best!

I called AAA my car leaked a substantial amount of oil and I was concerned about using it. I was over 45 minutes from home. I’m a single 57 yr old woman. I marked specifically “no tow” Thomas from Woods showed up with a tow truck. I felt so badly. Thomas was very understanding about the miscommunication with AAA, he even checked the leak and my oil.
Being on site for a client and having just come from a laundromat with merely quarters on me. I had no money on me to even offerr a tip. I want to Thank Woods towing for their dedication to AAA servicing their clients, even after a situation like mine. Donna G
Jack came to tow my vehicle to my mechanic. He was early, was in a good mood and was pretty good with how he handled the truck ( I wasn’t sure how he was going to park my car at the mechanic) but he placed my car perfectly in a spot for them to get to it the next morning.
I requested my car be towed just as I always have. The technician didnt speak rude to me at all. My guess is he's new to this job and doesn't know how and where exactly to place the chains before driving the car up and down. He drove right over the chains but scraped by whole underside in the front during both processes. Didn't say a word. Totally unprofessional. I haven't gotten my tire fixed yet but will be going straight to my mechanic to check for damages. Call # 41183.
It took an hour to hear from them although they arrived. I had wanted to have my vehicle towed to my mechanics. When the driver saw my driveway, I thought he was going to faint. “ I “ had suggested a jumpstart. When he arrived I gave my keys with $10.00 and asked him to take good care. By the time the car jumped my husband was outside. I ran into the house to get ready to go, only to find my husband had also tipped him $10.00. “I believe “ that he should have had The decency to say, that’s OK your wife got it. So not a TOTALLY bad experience although not impressed. I will ask for a different company next time.
Especially for a gold card membership.
I requested a tow via AAA, my vehicle was picked up at the projected time, however, it was delivered to the WRONG location (not near the instructed location) AND IT WAS LEFT THERE!!!!! I have been waiting FOR my vehicle at my mechanic for almost 2 HOURS. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
