Our delivery Van broke down earlier this week. I gave Liberty a call, Tommy the owner, called me right back, gave me a quote and said he would be to me in about 45 min to an hour. Quick response and amazing customer service. We didn’t know what was the issue and we had 2 choices . Tow the Van at night for $$$$ or wait until the morning cheaper. But he’s was kind to come as I requested to jump start if it work will only charge me for that otherwise will tow the van. He jump start and we went home safely. I had an excellent experience with Tommy at Liberty. When my car wouldn’t start at the beach, I gave him a call and he showed up right away to help jump it. He quickly diagnosed the issue, and within minutes we were off to his shop. He replaced the battery efficiently, and the whole process—from the moment I called to when I was back on the road—took just 30 minutes! Great service, kind care, very transparent, and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

For me, having your car break down on the road is one of the more unpleasant experiences in life. Especially when you’re far from your home mechanic. I live on Shelter Island . . . my car broke down in Bridgehampton. I called Tommy at Liberty Automotive Repair & Towing. He was pleasant & good humored. He put me at ease when he said, “I’ve got a guy 5 minutes away.” Within 10 minutes my car was on its way to Shelter Island. Joey the driver was equally as pleasant. I highly recommend BOTH the towing service AND the repair shop!

I wouldn't trust anybody else to move a classic car. Liberty did a fantastic job towing my car. They helped me out in a pinch and were extremely careful, respectful, and knowledgeable about moving an older vehicle. They have the right truck and the right tools for these types of jobs.

My Subaru got a flat and I called Onstar to have someone come out and change my flat to the donut so I can go get a new tire. I truly thought my tire wasn’t fixable. I wish I took the guys name who fixed my tire. He checked the tire to see if there were any signs of nails, punctures, etc. I even joined in on the hunt. He asked for soap and water and we were able to find the hole. He had the tools and was able to patch it. Before leaving? He checked the tire pressure to make sure there wasn’t any leaking. Thank you so much! You saved me a headache and a new tire.

Tom is a lifesaver, excellent dude, fantastic service, did everything in his power to help me out in a bad situation and I would have been totally screwed if it weren’t for him. The type of service that makes you WANT to write a sterling Google review. Tom managed to get me to a mechanic just before they closed for the night. Tremendous work, truly, 11/10. Hope I never need to use his services again, but I’d absolutely stop to say hello to the guy on the street. You’re in good hands with Tom; his number is the number you should dial first.
