Drove down to Peconic last year from MA for a gas tank for a Hyundai sonata, had it ready to go in the condition stated. No idea how much of a pain in the ass it was to find the tank but they had it price was right super friendly and clean place. Thanks for the T-shirt highly recommend.

They told me over the phone that they have the part I'm looking for. Drove 45 mins there just to get there and say that they don't have it. They didn't even apologize

Well yes everybody needs to make money, overcharging someone and being greedy is not the way to go about it.
If your car needs to be towed do not have it taken there. Try to have it taken somewhere else as they will honestly rip you off!
Last week I suggested to a friend to get a replacement rear seat for their car after their dog chewed through their's. I grew up around auto wrecker yards or "junk yards" as my dad owned 2 in Brooklyn and I learned most of my auto knowledge from working in and around the men who helped shape me into adulthood. Peconic Auto Wreckers is by far the cleanest, most organized and friendly yard I personally have ever seen. I will be back often.

Great place. They responded right away through the online chat, and said that part would be ready the same day in spite of it being less than 2 hours before their closing time. I showed up 5 minutes before closing because of road closing, and they had my part waiting for me already on the counter. On top of that, since I brought in the old core, the took $10 off the originally quoted price. Everyone working there was very friendly, and if I ever need a used part again, I know where I will be heading.
Been getting parts for various vehicles and have sold a few junkers to them in the last few decades. Usually helpful and friendly guys behind the counter and will haggle a bit on price if you try.
What I liked most was there someone who was there to take care of everything I needed, and more then that they helped me find anything they didn’t have and called ahead to the vendors to ensure they held the parts. A+
This place was the best...They had parts for my navigator...but it was the extra service that they gave me...Drove about 30 mins where i live but 100 percent great service....
