Very unprofessional very inconsiderate to get a ETA 1hr 6:21pm -7:21pm call to say the tow has not showed then be told it’s gonna be another half hr now it’s 8:40 pm don’t seem to be very ELITE to me at all. BETTER CALL SOMEONE ELSE.
Not nice people at all when I got into an accident was not at fault. They originally told me they could tow it to my house for extra cash. I said no problem and then they’re telling me that they have to tow it to their personal yard come to find out they sent it to an auto body shop and told me the police told them to send it there when that’s a lie. The police told them to bring it to my house when they said no to me. I had the police speak to them so they are liars and have horrible customer service.
They really deserve 0 stars. Do not use this company if you can avoid it. I was in a bad accident and went to hospital. They were the ones called and the driver stole things out of the car. Then they wouldnt release the car even though all of the paperwork that was needed was complete. They held it for 5 days. They rob you and take advantage of people when they are in a vulnerable state.
I had an alternator problem that caused me to break down in a parking lot on Portion Rd...the driver Carl (truck #49) arrived within less than 10 minutes (the shortest amount of time that I've waited for roadside ever, an added bonus there). He was super personable, knowledgeable and overall very professional. He got my car on the flatbed within minutes and brought it straight to my mechanic. Fantastic service overall. Another thing worthy of mentioning...I left a personal item in his cab and he was kind enough to bring it back to me immediately! Overall a great experience, and Carl provided top-notch service AND went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend this towing company for this quality of service!
Stay away. Biggest bunch of hacks and scam artist. Tried to lock wife and i in there gated yard because we wanted to take OUR own liscence plates off totaled vehicle. Now theyre giving my ins company run around for 3 days trying to pick up car. Police have been notified. What there doing is illegal. Lawyers will be involved now. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP OF A BUSINESS.
I want to share a really disappointing experience I’ve had with Elite Towing. On Thursday, September 29th, I got into a car accident and unfortunately, they were the towing company that ended up being called (not by me).
They picked up my car, but when I tried to find out where it was, they couldn’t tell me for about two hours. It’s now October 1st, and I’ve been calling them repeatedly as well as my insurance company (Geico) trying to get them to release my car for inspection. They have not done so after multiple calls from both me and Geico since September 25th.
This delay and lack of communication have been incredibly frustrating. I really expected more professionalism and I wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience.

By far the worst roadside service I've ever experienced. They charged me an extra $85 above what my roadside assistance paid them, for using the "winch". How do you not use the winch to get a disabled car on a flat bed. On top of that they demanded it in cash. Felt like a roadside robbery. This company should be investigated.
Highly recommend. I Broke down on a Saturday evening and Carl in truck 49 arrived promptly and towed me to the mechanic. He went above and beyond. Thank you!
The drivers are prompt and polite the office however is a nightmare. The main woman obviously hates her job cause she is the rudest most unprofessional woman I had the unpleasant misfortune to endure. She caused such a bad feeling in my opinion towards the company I will use another company in the future. This is also from a sub contractor who hauled oversized vehicles for them
Get ready to drive to the bowels of Ronkonkoma to pay in person because they’ve never heard of email and don’t seem to have mastered the telephone yet. Like all of Long Island this place is one big tedious technicality. LOL
If you care about the car you are getting towed DO NOT USE ELITE TOWING! I was in an accident and lost all my fluid I gave very clear instructions not to start my car so the motor doesn’t blow but they were ignored. When the driver dropped off the car at my house he said he didn’t want to search my car for something to take the cover of where you would connect a tow strap. So instead he started my car and drove it onto the truck. AS HE IS UNHOOKING IT he says “I’m gonna start it now to take it off the truck” I had to yell at the guy and tell him again there is no fluids in the car and to push it off he laughed in my face and said what does it matter the other guy is going to pay for it.
Fast forward to when my car was being brought to the mechanic State Farm sends these idiots again to get my car I spoke to the diver personally and said “do not start this car there is not fluids in it” takes it to the shop and what does the idiot do STARTS THE CAR AND DRIVES IT OFF THE TRUCK. These people do not know how to tow anything and should be ashamed of the work they did. I will be contacting my lawyers and seeking compensation for them destroying my car even further.

If I could give them a zero star i would. This company is a big rip off and scpd is in cahoots with them. If you ever get into a car accident on the long island express and the cops offer to call you a tow truck make sure you ask them if it is elite towing if so respectful decline. My son was in accident. The cops called elite. They towed the truck. So now its time to get the car. You have to go to ronkonkoma to pay for your car. Then over to medford to pick up the car. Both of the locations are behind other establishments which was hard to find. Now I will post my bill. As you can see from the bill they charged me $65 for the winch( isn't that part of the truck) how else can the car be towed. Then they charged me an extra $35 for cleanup. When I questioned them about that their going to say. The driver said he had to clean up so there isn't anything we can do. I respectfully said your driver is a liar cause I was standing right there and he didn't clean anything. Accidents are stressful enough and to have more stress put on you by companies who are suppose to help you is absurd. There is something called KARMA. Nobody is exempt from it. So be careful on how/ what you do to people cause you are definitely going to get it back ELITE!

My son was In a car accident and the police used this towing company to tow his car …and as my son is laying in a hospital bed the driver helped himself to his whole middle console! When I called I got an attitude from start to finish! I was told we shouldn’t have worried about our son we should have cleaned out his car! No empathy no care in the world! Absolutely disgusting!!! They know you can’t prove it so pretty tell you too bad! DO NOT WILLINGLY USE THIS COMPANY!!! BEWARE I was also told they tow so many cars these couple of bad reviews telling everyone they steal isn’t a big deal!
Drunker driver hit my sisters car, parked on the street. They held my sisters car hostage for two weeks, and when we went to pay for "storage fees" they said Alan is the only one that can provide a price to release the car. But according to them they don't know when Alan is in the office. This companies business model is "extortion and give people the run around" DO NOT USE ELITE TOWING! They are genuinely some of the worst repugnant people.
Issue after issue with this company. 1st they say car is released then it's not released. Getting a brk down of tow fees took ages waiting for their manager. IMO they find ways to keep the veh longer to charge more storage.
After a major accident, the process to release my vehicle is unrealistic and antiquated. After sustaining substantial injuries, the company refuses to provide an email addresses for an electronic release. Extremely uncaring about my injuries. It feels like a hostage situation. DO NOT USE
After several months of inactivity, I was preparing to have my car towed to the mechanic. Fortunately, my insurance company provided assistance and arranged for a tow service. A representative from Elite Towing was dispatched, and although I regret not catching his name, I must express my appreciation for his exceptional courtesy. He arrived not only on time but even a bit early, and he called to inform me of his arrival, making the towing process remarkably seamless. Given that it was raining, he simplified the procedure by having me sign rather than requiring me to fill out extensive paperwork. His friendly demeanor was truly refreshing, especially in today’s world, where such positivity can be hard to find. I would certainly choose Elite Towing again if the need arises.
One of the lady's that work in the office was not so nice. Very abruptly spoke to me as I was trying to be pleasant. Seemed very angry. Needs some training on professionalism and manners
Waited over 3 hours on the side of the highway in unsafe conditions. Callled for an eta and unfortunately was spoken to so rudely. I will never use this company again
The experience with this company was not good. First we had trouble finding the office the first time we went there. When we called they would not give any information about where the truck was or how much it would cost. He was in hospital in ICU unit for 5 days and unable to go there or speak to anyone. They just did not care and they charged for 8 days when it should have been 7. Also they would additionally 3.5 percent for credit cards so we had to leave and go to the bank to save some money. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will tell everyone I know.
Absolutely Disgusted – Beware of Elite Towing
If I could give zero stars, I would. Elite Towing is not just unprofessional—they are outright thieves. After my car was towed, I went to retrieve our belongings and was horrified to find that someone had clearly rummaged through it. The doors were open, items were scattered on the ground, and multiple things were missing—including a wallet belonging to my 9-year-old child, softball gear, kids’ baseball equipment, and a backpack.
This all happened inside their “secure” gated lot. When I confronted them, they gave me the usual runaround: “We’re looking at the cameras.” Yeah right. I don’t believe that for a second. This was clearly an inside job or a complete failure on their part to protect property in their care.
Do not trust this company with your vehicle or belongings. They are careless at best, criminal at worst.
I highly recommend Elite Towing. We have used them a number of times including a motorhome but this last time had to give a shout out to Jeremy who was so friendly and knowledgeable , and took such great care of us. We really appreciate all he did for us truly a professional.
They were ok. The guy who towed my truck was really rude about the payment even though my friend was giving him cash. They also said they didn’t have my car when they did so it was missing for a few days. I had to file a police report. Could’ve been better service…
I had a situation early this morning. I was scared because I haven’t had much experience with having to call a tow truck. My insurance company got in touch with Elite towing. I had a fantastic experience. Not only was the driver Howie kind and considerate. He was knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed to do. Howie quickly got us towed to my mechanic safely and in one piece. I recommend elite towing highly. Ask for Howie.
Superior towing services! Ray came very quickly and got my jeep on his flatbed and off to my mechanic in no time. Ray is a highly experienced tower who was able to get my jeep out of a tricky spot. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for prompt and professional towing assistance!
I will give this firm 5 stars for towing. Had at least 3 towing companies out. None could take the job. Didn't have the knowledge nor the equipment. But Dave, Luke and Ray did. Great job! We had a car that wouldn't go into neutral. Was parked at bottom of a Z shaped hilly driveway. Plus didn't have power. I have attached pictures to prove my point. Sylvia in the office arranged the tow. Many thanks to her as well.
