Very bad experience. Was in an accident , waited an hour and a half at the location for the tow truck driver to arrive. He never arrived , and marked on his tracker app that he did , I ended up having to drive my heavily damaged car to the shop instead of it being towed
My car broke down and my extended Warrenty co assigned Elite towing to get my vehicle to the service center. They were excellent in communication and getting my car safely to destination. Would highly recommend!!
I was driving home on Ocean Ave in Ronkonkoma going straight, one the Elite tow trucks making a right came flying out in front me completely cutting me off. I had to slam on my breaks and thank God it didn’t cause an accident because the person behind me also had to slam on their breaks. He would have crushed my car if I didn’t stop! Terrible! Please get rid of crazy, dangerous drivers, it’s not safe.
The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I was in an accident and was given the wrong towing company information, so I called to see if there was a mixup or delay in the transport of my car because I could not locate it. The “woman” on the phone was so incredibly rude, insensitive, and hostile for no reason at all, even after being told about my situation. She is an awful person and I feel terrible for anyone else who had a similar experience with her.
This tow company caused me a huge amount of unnecessary stress during an already difficult time after an accident. I had trouble retrieving my personal belongings and important documents from my own vehicle, which should never be an issue. The receptionist, Jamie, was extremely rude and unprofessional. The way I was spoken to made me feel like I had to beg for help instead of being treated like a customer. What makes this even more disappointing is that this company was recommended by the police, so I expected professionalism and basic compassion. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I would not recommend this company. By all means if you can get your own tow through insurance or any where else please do , if car is drivable drive it yourself ! Closed on the weekend for those affected but not for towing and making money off you and your insurance .
I broke down on the LIE in November. AAA mistakenly said they couldn't pick up on the LIE, so Highway Patrol called a tow. Phil was the tow operator who came. No one has ever taken as good care of a car of mine. He wrapped each rim in a cloth before inserting the tie down straps so they wouldn't get scratched. He also wrapped the winch cable is his rain gear so it wouldn't damage the front air dam. I was so impressed with his attention to detail and expertise. The price was high but AAA reimbursed me for most of it. What a great experience in the middle of an unfortunate situation. Five stars.
We had our car towed this evening after getting a flat tire 4 blocks from home it is New Year's Day at 1am. The woman on the phone was so helpful after an error With the insurance app and the driver got to us within 20 minutes and was so kind to allow us to wait for our uber that was delayed because of snow! Highly reccomend
They dnt even deserve a Star They canceled after waiting 2 hours and never called I had to call them and thats when they told me unreliable!!!! And I froze outside waiting and it didnt matter to them
After being involved in an accident, we had an extremely stressful and unprofessional experience with Elite Towing. The truck took an unreasonably long time to arrive, and once it did, the driver was disrespectful and dismissive toward both my mother and me.
This was our first time ever being in an accident, and instead of explaining the process or offering guidance, the driver failed to communicate clearly, provided no information about where our car was being taken, and showed zero patience when we asked basic questions. At no point did he explain our options or what to expect next.
On top of that, we were repeatedly pressured with inconsistent and inflated pricing when asking about having the car taken home, which felt misleading and predatory during an already vulnerable moment. We did not even call this towing service ourselves—the police did—yet we were still treated as if we were an inconvenience rather than customers in need of help.
A towing company should bring clarity and professionalism during emergencies. Unfortunately, Elite Towing did the opposite. I would strongly caution anyone against using this company, especially if you are unfamiliar with the accident or towing process.
Had the misfortune of needing a tow from them recently and got ripped off. The guy who picked my car up called it in to a woman at the company while driving me to the repair shop and basically discussed adding non-existant mileage to my total so it would be more "worth it" for him because he had worked another job that night. They essentially tripled the distance on my bill from what was actually towed and overcharged me by a ton. Avoiding this company at all costs going forward.
Very nasty women working inside the office. Especially the blonde and brunette sitting behind the blonde.No compassion, no respect. Reason on why we had to go to them was because they just towed my car on the side of the road without the police calling them. Pretty much stole it. Had to pay 370 to get it out. Going tomorrow to small claims to sue them over it. They also broke something underneath the car and put a scrape on the front bumper. Very horrible company.
My little sister was almost ran off the road by one of the employees in their truck in deer park NY. She was obeying the speed limit (new driver) and he was honking, driving in the median trying to side swipe her and flipping her off. White male with black beard. Poor excuse to have this person still working for this company
If you find yourself if my shoes and do not have a choice, have your vechicle removed from their possesion as soon as possible before storage fees rack up and things start disappearing from your vehicle.
the staff very accommodating tech. guys great 2 cars jump start changing tire, no complaints not my job or grumbling just did and got me on my way, even refused tip.
This was an insurance towing for an accident and they are really efficient and timely. My tow guy was José. He is so helpful and knowledgeable. He didn’t make me feel weird or anything. He has amazing customer service, capabilities, and all-around good energy. I’m so thankful he was my tow guy. If anyone needs a tow, ask for him. You won’t be disappointed.
I had the displeasure of speaking to a very rude and un empathetic dispatcher as I sat on the side of the road stranded at 1 o’clock in the morning. Only was this woman unprofessional, she spoke to me in a sarcastic manner and provided no alternative options to assist me. I would not recommend this company to anybody!
Very unprofessional very inconsiderate to get a ETA 1hr 6:21pm -7:21pm call to say the tow has not showed then be told it’s gonna be another half hr now it’s 8:40 pm don’t seem to be very ELITE to me at all. BETTER CALL SOMEONE ELSE.
Not nice people at all when I got into an accident was not at fault. They originally told me they could tow it to my house for extra cash. I said no problem and then they’re telling me that they have to tow it to their personal yard come to find out they sent it to an auto body shop and told me the police told them to send it there when that’s a lie. The police told them to bring it to my house when they said no to me. I had the police speak to them so they are liars and have horrible customer service.
They really deserve 0 stars. Do not use this company if you can avoid it. I was in a bad accident and went to hospital. They were the ones called and the driver stole things out of the car. Then they wouldnt release the car even though all of the paperwork that was needed was complete. They held it for 5 days. They rob you and take advantage of people when they are in a vulnerable state.
I had an alternator problem that caused me to break down in a parking lot on Portion Rd...the driver Carl (truck #49) arrived within less than 10 minutes (the shortest amount of time that I've waited for roadside ever, an added bonus there). He was super personable, knowledgeable and overall very professional. He got my car on the flatbed within minutes and brought it straight to my mechanic. Fantastic service overall. Another thing worthy of mentioning...I left a personal item in his cab and he was kind enough to bring it back to me immediately! Overall a great experience, and Carl provided top-notch service AND went above and beyond for me. Highly recommend this towing company for this quality of service!
Stay away. Biggest bunch of hacks and scam artist. Tried to lock wife and i in there gated yard because we wanted to take OUR own liscence plates off totaled vehicle. Now theyre giving my ins company run around for 3 days trying to pick up car. Police have been notified. What there doing is illegal. Lawyers will be involved now. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP OF A BUSINESS.
I want to share a really disappointing experience I’ve had with Elite Towing. On Thursday, September 29th, I got into a car accident and unfortunately, they were the towing company that ended up being called (not by me).
They picked up my car, but when I tried to find out where it was, they couldn’t tell me for about two hours. It’s now October 1st, and I’ve been calling them repeatedly as well as my insurance company (Geico) trying to get them to release my car for inspection. They have not done so after multiple calls from both me and Geico since September 25th.
This delay and lack of communication have been incredibly frustrating. I really expected more professionalism and I wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience.
Should be zero star rating. By far the worst roadside service I've ever experienced. They charged me an extra $85 above what my roadside assistance paid them, for using the "winch". How do you not use the winch to get a disabled car on a flat bed. On top of that they demanded it in cash. Felt like a roadside robbery. This company should be investigated.
Highly recommend. I Broke down on a Saturday evening and Carl in truck 49 arrived promptly and towed me to the mechanic. He went above and beyond. Thank you!
The drivers are prompt and polite the office however is a nightmare. The main woman obviously hates her job cause she is the rudest most unprofessional woman I had the unpleasant misfortune to endure. She caused such a bad feeling in my opinion towards the company I will use another company in the future. This is also from a sub contractor who hauled oversized vehicles for them
Get ready to drive to the bowels of Ronkonkoma to pay in person because they’ve never heard of email and don’t seem to have mastered the telephone yet. Like all of Long Island this place is one big tedious technicality. LOL
I highly recommend Elite Towing. We have used them a number of times including a motorhome but this last time had to give a shout out to Jeremy who was so friendly and knowledgeable , and took such great care of us. We really appreciate all he did for us truly a professional.
Superior towing services! Ray came very quickly and got my jeep on his flatbed and off to my mechanic in no time. Ray is a highly experienced tower who was able to get my jeep out of a tricky spot. I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for prompt and professional towing assistance!
I will give this firm 5 stars for towing. Had at least 3 towing companies out. None could take the job. Didn't have the knowledge nor the equipment. But Dave, Luke and Ray did. Great job! We had a car that wouldn't go into neutral. Was parked at bottom of a Z shaped hilly driveway. Plus didn't have power. I have attached pictures to prove my point. Sylvia in the office arranged the tow. Many thanks to her as well.
