This is some Very nice and humble people here at 9th street auto collision, once here they'll take great care of you when it comes to your vehicle getting fixed, out in Huntington NY…
DO NOT LET THEM TAKE YOUR CAR!
For some reason the police department uses them and they use this to make as much money as they can. They charge way too much and they charge you everyday your car is there and you are waiting on the insurance companies to settle everything. Then to add to the shadiness they only accept cash or bank certified checks and they don't tell you this until after they take your car.
They should not be in the business of taking cars after accidents. Learn from my mistakes; If your car is totalled call a salvage place and see if they will hold it until the insurances settle everything, otherwise see if your usually mechanic can tow you to his shop or at the very least hold the car for you while you get things settled. The police should not use this company it is so shady... they don't want your car there and they have no use for it, so why are they taking it?
**UPDATE** Not sure that you can publicly disclose my insurance provider, so I suggest you remove that. Your employees did not confirm anything about my insurance or tell me anything other than "don't worry their insurance will pay for it".The practice is predatory... Moments after an accident I was lied to and told to sign a paper and not worry about it. Also you guys charge double what other places charge per day.

Worst customer service ever please do yourself a favor and never go there. They told me it was going to be $200 for the tow and now it is $408. These people have no heart and they are so rude. I would not recommend them to anybody if it was the last place on earth, they are a bunch of scammers and liars. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.
First off I’d like to say that Frankie and the team are amazing my truck looked like it was brand new when I got it back. A few short hours after I picked the truck up it had overheated I called Frankie he sent a tow truck to come pick the truck up and had his guys look at it and fix it that morning they even dropped the truck off at my house once it was done.These guys are amazing I would highly recommend to anyone
Terrible service - Car broke down on a Friday night at CSH Train Station and police officer called 9th Street Auto Collision to have car towed to their shop. Tow truck driver arrived and said he was not able to tow my car to Bethpage and said he can only tow within the Huntington area. He also did not give a price and said to call Frankie Monday AM. Called Frankie Monday morning only to find out the tow bill was almost $400 for towing the car less than 3 miles to their shop, plus a hidden $35/day storage fee that was not mentioned in the beginning. Bunch of con artists that are just out there to take peoples money. I would give this place a zero star if I was able to.

Worst experience as our office rented van got in to accident these heartless people did not even care about our workers personal belongings all they cared is making money and wasting time for making money never trust these people…. We also have and agreement that allows us to take personal belongings and arrange towing and other maintenance issues since it’s leased and agreement says clearly, but the owner is being stubborn unnecessary … we will report this matter to Long Island business and Transportation bureau .

Needed a tow and they came right away! Excellent, excellent service! He made a recommendation that saved me a lot of money and he knew his recommendation would cause him more work and time but he recommended it any way. He put my interests above his own. I will never forget this company.

I brought my car to 9th Street two years ago to have my bumper fixed after being rear ended. I returned last month because the sliding door on my mini van literally fell off! Frankie, the owner, gave me a “worst-case-scenario” price. It ended up being a third of the cost. Frankie is honest, reputable and professional. Stephanie and Mary are also a pleasure to work with! The entire crew that works there is always nice and always kind. I can’t say enough nice things about the people at 9th Street and the work that they do! You will ALWAYS be happy with the work that they do at 9th Street!
Absolutely the best around. I’ve taken my Tahoe twice to Frankie, once after someone rear ended me and crushed my bumper and just recently to fix my step bar after I hit a rock and destroyed it. They also detailed my truck and it looks completely brand new. I got my truck back the very same day which is incredible because they are a VERY busy shop but they work hard and get it done the right way quickly, plus you’re not going to beat their prices. Stephanie at the front desk is also amazing she’s so sweet and helpful. She handled all the insurance stuff the first time I went there, so I didn’t have to do anything. Highly recommend this place!

My current review is about the awesomeness of the people here. My car was towed here after an accident. It was totaled. When the insurance wouldn't cover the full length of time it was held here (because I didn't know until weeks later that I was responsible for part of the storage cost), the manager forgave my debt of nearly $1500 and accepted only what he would get for the scrap of my old car as my payment.
We will be bringing my husband's car, which needs body work, to 9th Street Auto Collision, and I will review their actual collision work at that time; but listening to Frankie talk to others on the phone while I was waiting there and the great respect and concern for their wishes being honored and his doing right by them made it clear to me that we will get great service. I believe anyone who takes his car to 9th Street Auto Collision will too.
Rude reception. How disappointed I was after being referred to Frankie, the owner, for a detail job. The women that work there…the faces of this business, didn’t acknowledge me when I arrived. They seem like they hate their jobs. Without eye contact, one pointed to a dirty clipboard, telling me I have to fill out paperwork without even knowing why I was there. I told them I was referred to Frankie for a detail job, and that I didn’t need bodywork. They told me they need my insurance info and no one will speak with me unless I fill out paperwork. No eye contact. They could care less about their customers...
The care and attention I received was top notch. The experience made me feel like I was dealing with people who had my best interests in mind. And the repair was perfect. No more evidence of the damage I did when I backed up into my father-in-law's car! Thank you.

Frank is great. He has three lovely ladies that work in the office and they update you on everything. They even helped me get a rental car! Great people!
Got stuck going to this place after a crash on the highway and 3 tires were flat. Was far from home and the police officer said this was the place to go. Couple months down the line having not gone anywhere else for work on my vehicle can't get my tires off. They put all 4 tires back on using an impact gun. Really hoping my lug nuts aren't stripped. After calling to ask for help they are now trying to put the blame on us and saying they don't know what's happened between now and then. Regardless they were not willing to help a former customer. And got an attitude on the phone with us. Unprofessional and probably get kick backs from Police. Do not go.
These local fixtures have been doing their thang for years and they know what is up. Frankie is excellent; kind, knowledgeable and the REAL deal. No bologna, all up front and informative. Momma Mary is awesome. This shop has big clients, but also does restorations and fix anything else. Check them out, get a quote.

Got involved in an accident nearby, the police contacted them to tow my car to their yard Saturday by noon, pick up my car Monday 10:20am, charge me $200 for towing (way excessive compared to market) and they were pretty mean, not respectful, treat people like trash, especially the guy named Frank, claims he’s the owner but not even look like. Plus $115 for 3 day storage, which is not even 2 full days. They even said no credit card machines so I need to pay cash. Lie after lie, crooks! Corrupt police colluded w/ corrupt business. Dirty way of doing business. Not trustworthy, dependable!
I was in an accident recently and my car was towed here. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The staff is very well informed about insurance proceedings and they really look out for you and make the companies don't take advantage of you. Very pleased with the service.
