I thought my brakes needed to be replaced but was pleasantly surprised when I was told they only needed to be cleaned. Honest and professional . They have been good to me over the past 7 years. I would recommend them for anyone who wants great service.
Had complete front Bake Job on a 20 year old vehicle for around $750.Pads,Rotors,also was told it needed calipers, OK it’s a 20! year old car.Thought it Strange the Rubber brake hoses to each caliper weren’t replaced.
being that old and saying calipers were hanging up. Questionable repair in my opinion.Wont be going back.
terribly rude service… came in asking for a simple inspection at 3pm on Friday (two hours before close) and was told to come back Saturday between 7-12. Ok no problem! Come back at 10am on Saturday and the rude guy in the office told me “Didn’t I say 7am? come back Monday at 7 we don’t have time”. No attempt to schedule an appointment or even be professional and respectful. Will be going elsewhere for my inspection.
Thanks for your reply! but as I stated your demeanor and attitude, along with the fact that you didn’t even offer me the option to schedule an appointment is why I felt compelled to leave this review and why I will not be returning. The other day I ran into Greenlawn Service an hour before closing. They were able to squeeze me in for a quick oil change. I always receive great service, I’m greeted by name and never feel like I’m being taken advantage of. Please support this local business if you are able. 💕
Returning customer on this and other cars. This time just an oil and filter change but more extensive front end work on previous visits. I called on Thursday and Tom scheduled the first appointment of the next day. He got the filter in advance as it is a specialty item thus avoiding any delay for parts on the day of service. Shawn took me first thing on Friday and was done in an hour, in and out. Alway pleasant to deal with, fairly priced and they know the history of the car so make suggestions when appropriate.

have car inspected for someone considering purchase… Told to be there promptly at 9; pulled in at 8:55. Went for a cup of coffee. Afterwards asked for their assessment- any issues, problems found etc. he essentially said it was none of my business would discuss w uteri. prospective buyer. Would it really have been all that much to say what he found or thought?
Repairs are always professionally done. Less expensive and much more convenient than a dealership and maintenance and repairs to your vehicle are exceptionally better than those big name repair shops where you are just a number.
Called shop, set appt for Monday morning with Shawn. Showed up when they first opened. Was told I have to wait. Fine. I waited the entire day and they never took my car or even had any apology. I have never in the past argued about price or didn't pay them to be treated in this manner. We weren't talking about a big job either. How's about engine oil and trans oil change and I had the oil and the filters.... NO big job and no reason to be so irresponsible and devoid of any customer consideration.

Brought my car in for a NYS Inspection and it was done very quickly. Tom and the mechanics are friendly and knowledgeable.
Honest shop with nice staff and reasonable prices. They do excellent work. If it's something I can't do myself I trust these guys 100% Sean and Tom are the owners and they are the best!
Friendly and professional. I needed a last minute oil change and they were able to accommodate me. I received outstanding service and will go back for future mechanical needs!
Have taken my vehicles to Tom and Shaun many times for simple and complex issues on domestic and foreign cars. They are honest and fair and do solid work. I trust them and my wife does too.
Always friendly, efficient, extremely knowledgeable and extremely fair prices. They have been able to service all of our vehicles ranging in age of 2003-2016 quickly and even have the ability to restore headlamps as though they were brand new. Always a pleasure to see them!
Whenever I let my girlfriend drive my car, something always breaks. It’s been a running joke in our relationship. She feels totally to blame, but honestly it’s just a series of bad coincidences. So last week she drives my car to go pick up some groceries and do some errands. What happens? The battery dies. She panics and calls me frantically and I have a friend come out and jump the car. We take it to Greenlawn the next day just to get a new battery (it was pretty old) and I got my oil changed too. Painless process. Hopefully when my girlfriend drives my car again, it will stay in one piece!
My battery wasn't holding a charge. They replaced that and recommended some other minor work to be done. They were great the first time so I went back again and they were just as good. I will be back next time I need some work done!
I’ve been taking my car here ever since I moved to Greenlawn and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. The staff has always been up front with me and I truly appreciate that. There’s no beating around the bush. Even if it’s just a simple oil change I know it will be done right and on time, every time.
Got my brakes done here. Price was very good, especially considering there were some rust issues that made the job more difficult. I really appreciate their good work and service. I'd definitely go here again.

Excellent experience! It was getting late while we were on an overnight trip and our car broke down. Fortunately they were still open and we had our car towed there. They had it fixed by noon the next day! I couldn't believe how fast they were! Prices were fair and they did great work. The staff was courteous and friendly to talk to. It was scary at first since we didn't know the area, so we are thankful to have found a great mechanic like the one we had at Greenlawn Auto.
The guys did a great brake job...AND at a lower price than I was expecting! Even after finding the drum somehow fused to my car when they got in there. Staff was very personable too.
AVOID THEM - I live right around the corner from this shop so it's convenient to stop by and have my car work on. The last few times I was less than pleased with the service and treatment. One time the guys in there made my wife feel like an idiot when she dropped the car off for a simple inspection and oil change. They tried to scam her to get services done on the car that were not necessary. When I called them about it they yelled at me and questioned my mechanical know how and even my history there as a customer. The 4 eye critter behind the phone asked for my information and pulled up my history and said i wasn't worth their time since I wasn't spending a lot of money there and hung up on me. Avoid this shady shop.
