Why would anyone come here? These guys curbed my wheel during a tire change and didn't mention it to me at all. Plenty of other reputable shops within the area that charge a fair labor rate.
Nothing wrong with the quality of work. But why so expensive? Even for the Hamptons this place is impressively expensive. An oil change was 2x what the dealership charged. Don't hire these guys unless you don't care about being overcharged.
Regret.
It's the emotion I am least fond of, but I regret ever going to this establishment. Any problem that occurred could've been easily avoided. It began with miscommunication by the staff. The owner, Erick, stepped in and appeared to be handling the situation and then simply ghosted. Nowhere to be found. Any contact I try to make is ignored. Now I'm at a loss because I went there.
I hate regret and loss.
So these guys have worked on my 57 caddie and have been fantastic. Ignition work, carb work and frost plugs just to name a few. If you have a vintage car take it to jack. He is the man.
Excellent! The best auto shop out here in the East End. Reliable, honest, well trained professional workers and awesome experienced owners.

Excellent work. I have an 86 MBZ560Sl with a radio/antennae issue. They diagnosed and repaired the elusive issue! My car isn't the easiest car in the world to work on - it's pretty perfect and I am picky - but these fellas did a great job! Thank you !
Very good service, they have great tech,they know what they are doing.if you have a lifted truck or jeep I recommend this place. They do and amazing job with alignments on lifted vehicles etc.
Nothing like a home cooked meal! This is how I feel about Bock Auto and all those rascals that work there. They go way out of their way any time I need it, especially if I am in a jam!!! WELL DONE BOCK AUTO!!!
Every time I go here is an amazing experience. The staff take’s time to look over all the details and make sure the job is always done right. They are reasonably priced, professional, and keep you updated on job status. For simple routine maintenance or intricate jobs I refuse to take my truck anywhere else now.
I love these guys for several reasons:
1. I've lived in several towns/cities where going to a mechanic and talking about my car has been difficult and intimidating. (female here) I never feel that way when interacting with the staff here. Never talked down to or patronized, and kind as always. Eric explains everything.
2. They go above and beyond. Ideally, I needed a new fuel tank, but couldn't afford it, and they researched a cheaper alternative for my situation, buying me time. When I was purchasing my current used car, I was able to stop by and let them take a look at it at no charge. This was very helpful! If I have a concern, they're very patient when I bring it to them.
3. They are sensitive to my budget--I bet I don't even know all the ways. They discuss payment options with me and recently included a service at no charge--I believe because I disclosed my budget, but I did that thinking that all the services were covered, so I had no expectation of this generous action.
They are just awesome, and you can feel they care about helping you--not just working on machines-- and I tell my family, my friends, and coworkers to go to Bock Auto.
No place to wait for your vehicle. Requires a nearly full day drop off for all basic maintenance work. Not friendly whatsoever. Mechanics who won’t let owners watch them work on their vehicles.
Eric runs a great auto repair shop. He's very friendly, knowledgeable and fair. He loves cars and treats each like it was his own. Also an expert on older and classic cars. Highly recommend.
