Avoid this company. Sold me a used part for $50.00. Found out was available used for $5.00 went to advanced auto and bought NEW for $4.00. They would not take their part back.
Earlier today the person driving this company’s truck nearly killed myself and 5 small kids during a zipper merge on 17 West just past Vestal, NY. He felt the need to push me off the shoulder and push tight so no one could get in front of his truck. He blocked off two lanes, completely going against the laws of a zipper merge and holding up traffic behind him. I was along side of him until he closed my space and had no where to go. He’s obviously a dangerous driver and has some road rage. My dash cam caught it all.
Steer clear buy elsewhere. Horrible customer service. They sold me a bad engine, knocking as soon as it was installed and started. They recommended put either water or Lucas treatment in the oil to make it better. Knowing this wasn't going to fix it i wasted the $20 on the Lucas because that was the process they wanted to go after about 300 miles the knocking had only got worse. Called them for a week with promises they would get back to me. Never would call me back or give me an answer on a replacement or refund. They don't care about there customers and would rather just ship out bad parts and tell you to bad afterwards. Don't waste your money here it will only cause a headache and a wasted time.
Waste of time. Ordered a muffler and after 2 weeks they said they cant ship the part because it’s too expensive. Instead of just telling me that from the start they kept me going for 2 weeks. I would call them every other day and they would say they shipped it out but never did. Complete waste of time go somewhere else.
Im very Happy with my service ,it Is a drive from Elmira and the road going is is a a little rough if you're driving a sport or luxury auto but liked the old school junk yard vibe of the place and the few parts that I acquired were in good condition and at a reasonable price.
Very disappointed and disgusted with this Business. I purchased an engine for my 1994 Toyota pick up and was told what they were selling me would fit in. They also sold me accessories such as the compressor, alternator, starter, intake, and other items. These did not fit either because they sold me a 1988 engine with the accessories from the same engine. I was never told that I was buying a 1988 22RE and that they were giving me 1988 accessories. I never would’ve purchased The accessories because they’re not matching up to my year vehicle.
I asked them to take the accessories back and I would pay them for the engine itself but they refused to respond. They told me I could bring everything back and pay $500 to give it back to them.
If you ever purchase anything from them I suggest that you get every single thing in writing because they did not do right by me.
I ordered a door that was supposed to be a color match, it wasn't. My first call to return it was on January 7th. It is now February 21st. I've made several calls, and emails, and the door still sits in my driveway! I've asked when they are going to pick it up so that I can be there to receive my cash refund. WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU????? The Attorney General is my next call!
Have been ordering parts for along time From them and have never had a problem ordered a engine came with broken valve cover damage cam wasn’t the one we ordered sent back sent us another one was missing Intake manifold and wiring harness was damaged
twice in a row ive ordered parts and both times the paet has been defective. Regardless the parts were refunded or exchanged.last part was a spider injection unit for a 5.0 chevy engine. A 200 dollar job cost me double because the shop had to be repayed to so the same work twice. Was told by a guy on phone this was my problem not theirs.
horrible, sent me a bad transmission, and they misrepresented miles. Ending up paying to take it back it out then they hedged about refunding my money.. Stay away there are better yards.
Purchase tons of parts from this recycling yard and they are very quick to deliver and reasonably priced. Very helpful in getting us hard to find parts. Friendly phone staff that are very knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
Called in an order for a part, sent in payment information after a week went by I called to see where my part was and for tracking. They then said that they didn't have the part. A phone call in less than a week would have been nice. Now my customer is frustrated and I have to continue searching for parts. Their Service stinks.
I called this place looking for a rare part in my 96 jeep grand cherokee! I called and spoke to Johnny I believe he was so polite and helpful! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! So helpful so nice great place to deal with! Now the part I was looking for came in as described but came in better condition then what I was expecting I was so thrilled! The packing was great! Many layers of protection! Lastly the front desk lady who took my address was amazing very personable nice truly cared about her job and customers! I can't say enough great things about this company! I will be back again! Thank You!

Not even one star! But it won't let me click none. They treated my wife and I like we were dirt. They were rude, mean and just plain nasty! Literally had my wife in tears by the time we left due to how they were treating us. DON'T GO THERE!
After searching the web and calling around to several different places, Southern Tier found the item I needed immediately (a sunvisor) and quoted me the best price, including the most reasonable shipping price. I paid right over the phone and the call took probably five minutes, tops. They were also very personable on the phone.
And then I got my sunvisor in only a couple of days! Super fast service! It was exactly what I ordered and it's in great condition. Thanks, guys!
