Dick and I want to let you know that we have always been satisfied with your continual , dedicated weekly pick up. Our past waste companies who not only were more expensive than Twin Bridges, their holiday schedule , were not only inconvenient, but confusing because other companies changed their pick up day and time. We appreciate your staff , please continue to appreciate them and $ "remember them AT Christmas too "

Weekly garbage pickup. Monthly bill is now 36.00 to take my trash, when the hell did that price go up that high??!! Looking into another company that is more affordable and doesn’t break the bank

We put our garbage bins out and were somehow missed for whatever reason, I called the service. They were very receptive and asked just a few questions and didn't hesitate to send someone out to empty the cans before our next pick up date! Now that's how you do business. I love a business that operate on honesty and integrity. Thank you so much!

6:50 a.m. my elderly neighbor is awakened by the incredible loud repetitive slamming of those giant square garbage canisters at the clock tower in Amsterdam, ny... truck number is 917!!! He overdoes it almosy every time and I already know the excuse is that something was stuck. It's OK the LORD sees everything and will take care of the one sending him to do it!

Sunday night I put out my garbage and my neighbors across the street, for a Monday pickup. Monday comes they pick up my recycling but not my garbage. Everyone else in the neighborhood was picked up. Tuesday morning I call customer service to have them send somebody out to pick it up. The rep then makes it sound like I did not put it out for pick up and that unfortunately nobody can get out there until Friday, which is BS. I live in Queensbury and there were garbage cans all over glens falls, less than a mile away all week. Here it is Friday3pm, still not picked up, so I call again and the rep says sorry, it was cancelled and won’t be picked up now until Monday, my regular day. This is not the first time it has happened that they missed my garbage or others on pickup day, but I assure you it will be the last time.!!!

For starters my mother has 3 children all in their 30's. She has NO control over what we do and do not pay. As we are adults and it is our responsibility. My mother moved into a home that my brother previously lived. She called to have a service started. She was told she was all set and they took the payment for starting services. This happened last week. They reached out to her today and told her she would have to pay the amount my brother owed in order to actually start services. That is wild to me. Again she is not responsible for what my brother does and does not pay as he is a 36 year old man. Not to mention why take the money to start the service if you knew that you weren't going to allow it to happen. SMH

We are very happy with the service Twin Bridges provides, especially since their trash pick ups are never moved up because of an unexpected holiday. The monthly bill is very reasonable.

The customer service sucks. I called today about a bill which I got in my e-mail saying double the amount was due next month. Being confused, I asked if I paid my bill today (which the date for last month is due is today), would it reflect on my account. She didn't even answer my question, and instead threw out something not even related to my question saying she won't send out a new bill. She had a complete attitude the whole time. She shouldn't be in the customer service field if she can't handle customers. P.s. I have been with Twin Bridges for over 3 years. Customer service was good before Casella took over. I don't know if they switched people at the desk or what, but they need to find the lady who was working there before because she was amazing and knew how to work in customer service, and especially answering simple questions with a pleasant attitude.

We finally had enough of County Waste missing our pick up- we had them for like 18 years. Switched to Twin Bridges/Casella and what a great experience with their customer service and pickup! They truly care for their customers! Well done!

They have left bins in front of my driveway for about a month I have called them about this 2 weeks ago to pick them up as the person that had an account with them moved out and the bins are blocking the driveway and are blowing into cars, the street, and nearby buildings. They won't pick them up rather insist that they aren't by the street which they are. The driver assigned to pick them up either isn't doing their job, is going to the wrong address because they are incapable of typing the full address zip code and all into their navigation, or the company hasn't actually assigned someone with this task. All I want is for these bins to be removed, but this company is unable to do a simple task such as this. I am glad I use county waste as they aren't this incompetent and won't gaslight you. Pick up you're bins or I'm calling the town of colonie.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! my recycling was not picked up on its scheduled day. I called after the weekend and was told that the driver did not pick up but they didn't know why. I was then told it would be picked up that day, again it was not. I called today to follow up to see why it hadn't been picked up the first two times I was told it would be and I'm told that it won't be picked up until tomorrow. This is problematic because my can is full outside and my can inside is full but I can't empty the inside can because the outside can is full! When I ask customer service for an explanation I was given absolutely nothing other than their empty "apology" . I asked them to credit my account some small amount and they absolutely refused. I wasn't looking for a credit for any other reason except to send the company a message that when you provide poor customer service it costs you money. Since they refused to provide the service I paid for on two different days and refused any level of quality customer service I contacted COUNTY WASTE to transfer my service. FYI if you don't know the history, Twin Bridges came to Saratoga to steal customers from county waste after some kind of personal dispute. Then they bought Casella so they can monopolize the market. They send out trashy mailers about the owners of County waste which didn't reflect well on them. I went with Twin Bridges because they offered a better price initially (basically they undercut County to steal all their customers it was good short-term move for a new company but without customer service it's unsustainable.) Don't be fooled people their reason for this business is not about providing quality service it's about taking service from county waste in some childish petty dispute and I feel bad I supported them.

They are marked as spam callers by Verizon, so beware that they may try to contact you from a number you wouldn't answer. Customers service over the phone is hit or miss. They said they are now picking up my dumpster on June 3rd 4 days later than May 29th the "Pickup date" they gave me so keep that in mind.

They drive their trucks with ice stacked all over the top and when it flies off and tears a hole in your brand new cars bumper they tell you it's not their problem. Sent them dash cam proof that it was 100% their fault, they didn't care. Update 1: Owner replied they were going to "completely take care of this". I have called, emailed and Facebook messaged them multiple times since then and been completely ignored. Update 2: Twin Bridges continues to evade my requests for payment. I have taken them to Small Claims Court and the judge rendered a verdict in my favor. They CONTINUE to ignore and not pay me the money owed.

Bulk prices are absurd. A small grill a door and some bags they want $200. Weekly service is good drivers great. Just not paying 4 months worth of service for a small bulk pickup. Edit** "A lot of garbage" fit in a crv in one trip to the dump. Offer bulk pickup to your customers once a year on specific week at a reasonable price. Probably make more that way then just overcharging. County waste quoted half what you did.

Casella… Tuesday morning February 18th. Waited to get through Mother Nature blast of wind on Monday to put cans out first thing in the morning on Tuesday (Latham) only to get a text an hour later saying we are not coming till Wednesday??? Twin Bridges was always on the ball with heads up?? We now have wind still blowing with cans knocked over and garbage all over the place??? No senior mgt could have gotten a text out on Monday?? Oh that’s right day off! Thanks for your response to my review but it was not on point? My point was our pick up day is Tuesday, Latham. The situation I mentioned was there was no heads up on Monday that you weren’t picking up till Wednesday. This had nothing to do with drivers? We all got a text around 8-9 Tuesday morning that you weren’t coming till Wednesday. Therefore everyone’s trash was out blowing around all over for a day because we weren’t notified till after we put our trash out that you weren’t coming. Again Twin Bridges was always on top of that. Balls in you court, fix it please. 24 hrs heads up when your not coming…

Sadly my home flooded and I will have to be permanently rehomed as a result. I finally got back out to the house to start throwing things out and getting the recycling taken care of as well. It was super windy and tipped my recycling bin after I left. I watched it on the camera feeling such disappointment knowing I wouldn't be able to set it upright before they arrived. I then watched the driver get out of his vehicle and fix it for me so the recycling could be removed. It seems like a silly small thing, but it really made my day. One simple kindness amidst my cleaning, packing, purchasing a new dwelling and preparing to move has made me feel quite fortunate. Thank you!

I had a very large limb break off in front of my home blocking my road in one of the latest wind storms. I was so afraid our garbage truck couldn’t make through. I called the manager of the park I live in and nobody came to help. A short while later, our Twin Bridges garbage truck came through and the driver, Dave got out of his truck and remove the broken limbs. Not only did he do it for himself, but our FedEx truck was right behind him! Not only did Dave clear the way for himself, but he cleared the way for other delivery vehicles and my neighbor. Thank you, Dave for being such a good person.

We have been using this company for 2.5 years. We have not had issues until today, and the attitude we received was enough to get me on here to leave a review. My wife and I just got married and had some extra things to throw out as there was a surplus from the wedding (3 extra trash bags) This company did not pick it up, so we called and asked if they could come back to get it, in which they replied they needed to know ahead of time there would be more trash. Which I understood, and they politely said they would come back to pick up the extra for us today. Which was very kind. So I put the bags that werd outside of the can into the now empty can so when they came back it would be an easy pickup. When the trash truck came back, they pulled some of the trash out of the cans, and left it on the ground in what seemed to be an expression that they were mad they had to come back. I now need to make a trip to the dump, and cleanup the front of my property. We will still be using them, but be careful not to upset the drivers.

I pay for garbage for 1 person, sometimes I put my can out once a month as I’m rarely home, I called to have a twin box spring and mattress picked up, I was told it’s “bulk” so it would be $100.00 up front, with the price I’m having to pay per month with having little to no garbage this should have been covered. These people are terrible and their truck drivers are dangerous on the roads. The person on the phone could have cared less

Great customer service. We’ve been using their service for 3+ years. Good communication on changes to schedules for holidays and thoughtful people who collect the recycling and garbage. Thumbs up all around! We switched from the other major service provider and have never looked back.

I was on I87 behind one of their trucks and a piece of brick flew out of the truck and hit my car that I’ve owned at that time for only 2 months! I called and gave the customer service all the info of where it happened and the plate number of the truck. She apologized and said to email pictures of the damage to them. I emailed the pictures of the chips in my windshield and gashes on the hood of my car. I got no response. I emailed again, no response. My husband brought the car to Twin Bridges and the guy who looked at the car apologized and said he would file a claim. Followed up with him by leaving him a message because they wouldn’t put him on the phone and he never called us back. This happened in October of last year. As of today there has been no communication from them. My error was trusting their word that they would take care of the damage so I never filed a police report. It’s sad this can happen and no one there cared. If you are behind one of their trucks, move away from them because the owner of the company could care less if something happens to you due to their negligence. The truck ahead of me had a roll over tarp to insure everything stayed in the truck but the driver didn’t use it. Safety is not their concern….nor being responsible and paying for the damage caused by their truck not being properly secured so nothing would fall out of it. Always make sure you file a police report if something like this happens to you! Don’t take the companies word they will pay for damages. Cover yourself and file the police report! I wanted to update this review. A safety manager reached out about my issue and they are taking care of the repairs that need to be done on my car. I’m grateful for him following up and listening to my concerns. He kept in contact with me and had me get estimates and email them to him which I did have the repair shops email them. I received a check today to cover those expenses. My car is scheduled to be fixed now. Thank you for doing the right thing. I appreciate it!!

Edit: Update - the've assigned a new truck to the route. Service is back to normal. The comment from owner below is an example of not understanding the impact of numerous acquisitions and the diverse needs of some of the routes they would be acquiring. The twin bridges trucks are giant- totally get it if a driver didn't want to be out on a private lane in the snow (even if its plowed, not treacherous as described)! The appropriate thing though, is to staff the routes with appropriate trucks as it's a very predictable. This appears to now be done. Review updated accordingly. _______ I understand they used to be great, but now service our address through Casella and do not pick up for weeks after snow storms (with a reasonably clear road). We are going on three weeks with no pickup. Would not recommend if you have any alternative.

Update May 2023: Service continues to be impeccable. When Robert Wright serviced our street, the day after pickup there was always trash and recycling items in the road, on lawns, etc. After Twin Bridges began servicing many of our neighbors, this has not been the case. Prices have increased significantly to $42 which has made me consider returning to bringing my own items to the local transfer station. My most emphatic feedback is regarding the pickup schedule. Twin Bridges picks up on most holidays which is totally a customer focused approach. However, waiting to the next day for pickup requires very little effort on my part and I would greatly prefer that drivers enjoy the holidays off. Perhaps the drivers love working the holidays due to bonus pay or some other perk, but notwithstanding, that is my feedback. I was offered a free year of service in Delmar as an incentive to use their service. The free year has long passed and we continued with paid service. Our old service would forget to pick up our trash, arrive at varied times and worst of all; consistently leave a trail of debris in their wake. Twin Bridges is consistent and tidy. On several occasions I have observed the driver collect trash that fell out of the truck and or bin. Service rates recently increase a few dollars to just under $33.

The garbage were in the middle of the garbage was. The driver took the bags of the top placed then on the ground. The garage was miss the week before that's why there is so much. I do not recommend them

I can honestly say this company needs to get it's s... together. Driver was rude and pretty much called me a liar. I had a dumpster delivery today and found when I came in to work the dumpster was placed outside the fenced in area. I had moved some booths outside on the cement pad knowing the dumpster was to be delivered and placed in front of the pad on the black top area. I called the company and told them and sent a picture of the location of the items showing he could have put it in its place. They sent the driver back to fix it. He came back I went outside and he said the benches were moved. I replied I moved them where they were on the pad out.of the way for the delivery yesterday.. he replied no you didn't. I said are you calling me a liar he replied yes. I said you didn't get out of the truck to see the benches were not in the way you just dropped it and left. So he left. I called Alexis she replied it cost them money to have him come back to move the dumpster and that if the driver said there was a problem they believed him. She called me a liar as well. So I cancelled the service and.my residential service.as well. Moral to this story.. This company is rude and has the worst customer service. Stay clear from this place..clearly these people don't care much about you but their pockets and hiring unqualified office workers and unprofessional drivers. I guess they take their trash to a whole new level.. See pictures... So rediculous...

We just signed up and the cans came right away. Both cans are sparkling clean and brand new, we literally watched the gentleman put the wheels on the cans new. All of our neighbors signed up also and their cans are also brand new .We have never had recycling before so I called to get info. I spoke with Sarah on the phone and she emailed me a full list of recycling info right away. She was such a sweet lady she answered all my crazy questions and made everything so simple. We can't wait to start recycling . After reading all the reviews and getting the cans I believe we chose the right company. Thank you Sarah!
