Seems like when you are stuck, they can charge whatever rate they want really. 545$ for one hour of labour which was just a burnt fuse, that doesn't include a tow bill of 1025$
We were on our way upstate when our truck broke down and lost its brakes, it was 11:30PM! We googled and luckily found BIG TOWS, Inc…they were awesome! Monica answered our call and reassured us that Steve would be there to tow us shortly and that they’d work on the truck first thing in the morning. Steve arrived within minutes and rescued us! He drove us to a nearby hotel where we stayed the night and were up and running by noon and on our way home! The entire experience was completely seamless and we would recommend BIG TOWS, Inc to anyone who wants an honest, fast, clean and reliable shop to get you back on the road!
When I called the company. Julia answered the phone and she was ever helpful from the start. They also got to my location very quickly which was very helpful as well. I gave all the information that Julia needed and she took care of everything. The driver was also very nice and help and got my car where I needed it to go with no problems. It was a smooth way back. We had a very positive experience with Big Tows recently. We are a small carrier from Mass with 3 tractors and we recently had an accident on the Cross Bronx on 95 with one of our tractor trailer units.
They came out immediately and were very good on scene. The owners son actually was there too , which says a lot since it was at midnight and raining.
Then after we got towed back to their yard I had many conversations with the owner Monika and she helped me a lot.
The owner was super friendly, professional and honest (which is rare in our industry).

Last night flat tire on 87 thruway. I was very nervous because of the location. Police called Big Tow's and Al showed up and saved the day! He made sure I was safe, changed tire in the rain and even wrote down my AAA Identification number because I did not have my card with me. It is people like him who make a difference when others need help.

Absolutely horrible people. Told me the bike was towed because the guy didn’t pay insurance but it was in a very bad accident and the frame was cracked. So sad as they looked like great people. Scam artists!
Can’t say enough wonderful things about this company! Big Tows was so patient, kind and caring in a time of distress. My battery gave out on the side of the NY state thruway and triple AAA wasn’t able to pick me up as it is a restricted roadway for them. I was connected to Big Tows through triple AAA. Mike was our driver. He was so kind and patient and personable. He comforted us and took great care of us and our car right to our destination. I also want to emphasize how quickly he arrived. In 20 minutes!!! This was incredible. We are so thankful to Big Tows and to Mike for keeping us safe.
Last night I had car trouble and was stuck on the side of the road at 11:30 PM. After waiting over three hours for AAA to find me a provider, they finally told me to call the police and find another way home because they couldn’t help. I remembered Big Tows from a past experience and gave them a call. They arrived in just 25 minutes! Alvin was the driver who helped me out, and he was awesome—super friendly, informative, and made a stressful situation much more bearable. I can’t recommend Big Tows (and Alvin!) enough. I was in an accident recently and expected a stressful process, but Big Tows completely changed that. They arrived quickly, handled everything professionally, and Monika at Big Tows kept me updated throughout. I am truck driver and I had a accident my truck jackknifed on I-95, I needed tow and repair on my Volvo, these guys came very fast picked my truck up took it to this shop here and they were able to get on it very fast, they got the parts I needed to fix my truck, very good and professional people here.. the lady’s at the counter are very nice n professional as well.. I would recommend coming here to everyone because they are fast and honest.. there’s very nice hotel down the street if u have to stay couple nights.. very good and clean business.. I’m very glad that they came and helped me out because I am out of state and really didn’t know where to go.. thanks to everyone at this business they did amazing job..

Monica helped us in getting our customers container from an accident in NY to its final destination in Rhode Island. They went above and beyond assisting with the transportation and crane, and our customer was very satisfied with the prompt response and solution provided. Little expensive , For a owner operator, but They had me towed and fixed the same day. They even had the mechanic stay overtime to finish the job so I could deliver my load. The women that run the facility know their business !!!

After my accident, other shops were telling me it would be a month or two before they could look at my tractor. The day after calling Monika, she had my tractor at her shop and torn apart. After 3 weeks of hard work and going above and beyond dealing with suppliers and insurance, Monika and her team had my truck fixed and looking brand new.
From getting towed in to yard from a wreck with my 579 Peterbilt, to completion was about 5-6 day turnaround. They were quick to answer the phone and quick to contact the insurance companies. It was hands down best service I’ve gotten owning my truck. And the work was amazing truck looks brand new

Monica of Big Tows Was on the phone with me at 8 o’clock the very next morning. She explained to me their procedure and went to work on my case immediately. Big Tows never let up. Enduring these supply chain issues of today, and insurance companies delays and dilemmas, Big Tows had my truck done in just two weeks.

This place is definitely what they call one stop shop. Broke down in Spring Valley New York after I got off the phone with Monica I knew she was on her game and she meant business.
She had a tow truck out to me within 30 minutes Driver was very knowledgeable remove my driveshaft and towed my truck back to their facility for repairs. Me being a owner operator I was very concerned about the cost of repairs and the downtime. Price was very fair and just like she said she had to be up and running within one day Monica and her team went above and beyond of locating all the needed parts.
