I don't know what location I spoke with, but Charles was extremely rude. I told him to take his time calling the owner to ask for a lower price and rudely replies "I will", and puts me on hold. I immediately hung up and went with their competitor.
Chris and Ken just left our home and they were wonderful to work with: timely, efficient, reasonable and trustworthy (all important qualities when you allow people into your home). They were friendly and helpful and got everything we asked of them done in a fairly rapid amount of time. We highly recommend them!
Chris and his team were easy to work with and efficient. The price was reasonable. It was an easy way to solve an annoying problem of how to get rid of things that are no longer needed.
The movers themselves were nice, but I was misled on the price. The phone estimate was roughly $260 and yet I was charged $440!!
I understand the estimate over the phone would be just a ballpark, but nearly double the cost is not acceptable. FYI this was just for 2 couches right by the front door and down 3 steps. Absolute ripoff.

Booking was very easy. When the crew arrived and saw that they needed a bigger truck for the fitness equipment I wanted taken, another appointment was made promptly. The driver, Chris, kept me informed about when the ETA would be. Ken was great also. I think they went above and beyond because some unexpected disassembly was needed. I thought pricing was very fair. I have used other junk removal companies who took much less "junk" but their charges were pretty high. I highly recommend Junk King - Hudson Valley.
Extremely rude, did not finish the job and charged for an almost full truck anyway, even though it wasn't. Called company to complain, the person on the phone told me the owner would call to make things right by me. No one ever called and the first I hear of them is now asking for a review many weeks later. Gave them a 1 bc it's the lowest option but they deserve a negative 1.

The pricing was lower than expected and the crew was eager to assist with removing my construction debris even though it was extremely heavy. I will definitely use Junk King in the future!!
Showed up for a quote within 45 minutes of calling. Gave a quote and they removed the junk on the spot. Fast and hard working. Still worthy of 5 stars, but the price I paid was higher than the quoted price by about $70, but I still believe was a fair price.

I have used them a few times now! They always make it so easy. Once I was given a time and date by a different company. They had asked me all these questions over the phone and set the time a date. Once the guys got there I told them what it was and they said that is not what on their form. I not sure why it wouldn't be on their but I still need it all removed. You could see how much they did not want to do it. Huffing and puffing sighing. They gave me some outrageous price. I am in a build with time restrictions and only 1 person allowed things like this per day I sold the apartment and was living in another state I was stuck. I called junk king and the said don't worry we will be there in 1hr. I sent the other company packing without any business. The guys from junk kings came in set up. I told them about time restrictions. They told me not to worry. They had a plan what to tackle 1st 2nd 3rd and finished. I didn't think was possible. For a reasonable price. I couldn't believe it they rocked it.

Tom and his crew were lifesavers! I have worked with clean out crews before, but never this professional. They were extremely organized and even took the time to sweep up areas after clearing them out. They worked non stop for over 5 hours and made sure to show me each area when it was completed. It was very easy to communicate with Tom pre and post cleanup.

We had a large clean-out job for the home my parents lived in for over 50 years. My dad was quite the junk collector and getting rid of junk and getting the house ready to list was overwhelming to say the least. We ended up working with a company that specializes in this very task (Home Again Transitions—also a five star operator) and they subcontracted with Junk Kings…who oddly enough were who I was going to hire if I had to run point myself. The job was so large, that after we were done with Home Again, we hired Junk King directly for a few more truckloads. I can’t say enough kind things about them. The guys are all top notch. One warning though: They are FAST. I recommend having multiple family members present if you have a job as large as ours so someone can see if they happen to uncover a treasure that you don’t want to have hauled away. I also really appreciated the transparency on pricing on their website. Without hesitation I would hire them again and recommend them for junk removal.
Dean and Eddie were right on time, efficient, and a real pleasure to work with. They took excellent care of the items they were removing, made certain that the door was closed when they realized I have a cat, and were fully accepting of my assistance (which isn't always the case). Amazing customer service by the owner, Tom. He was very responsive and came by the house for a free quote. Once we decided to use his services, he was very good about communicating a plan. He and his team showed up at the schedule time and took care of cleaning out a 3bd2ba townhouse with a very full garage and backyard in a single morning. Especially recommended for folks not local to the home being cleaned out. He kept us updated on the progress with photos and videos and was very accommodating. Perfect experience.

This is my sixth time using Junk King and, as always, the service has been professional, friendly and excellent. Phoning the company today, they did a quick assessment of the amount of items I wanted to get rid off, which then enabled them to send people to immediate take them away. The crew arrived about two hours after my phone call and did the work very well. The price in the end was also excellent compared with other similar services. I shall continue to use them in the future.
The two guys who came were very friendly, helpful, and arrived EARLY! They came prepared with their truck and a ramp to cart up our heavy junk. Overall great prices, great service, and courteous. The process of scheduling a service, telling them what we wanted, and pricing were straight forward and frictionless. The service men that came to do the estimate and haul away were professional, personable and careful. No walls or doors were damaged, even when hauling away huge pieces of furniture.
