If I could give these guys more than a 5 star I would. They always do such a great job and really go above and beyond. Would recommend to anyone and everyone in need of car repair. As long as I'm around the capital region I'm not going anywhere else for most car issues.

Hard to find great autobody shops. Prices, service, overall atmosphere. Schodack Auto is top of the top. Brought all the family cars there. The young lady at the front desk is beyond cordial, friendly. The gentleman in the back at the service door is the same way. I will recommend these guys to anyone looking for fair pricing, quality service and people who talk to you like you matter. Best I've seen and I've been to a bunch.

These guys are absolutely amazing ! Wife hit a deer and they made it look better than new . Had a noise coming from the front after we picked up the vehicle and Mike had me in and out and fixed in 15 min! Can't say enough about this place and how well they treat their customers . Highly recommended

Had an oil change, rear break pads, new wipers and four new tires balance and installed. Keith was very helpful and job was done in a timely manner. Great service in that he only recommended what is needed for the car

Based on a recommendation I gave this shop a try. It is a busy shop, so they were only able to get me in 1 month later than other shops in the area. But it was definitely worth the wait. They offered to have me bring my car in, to see if it was drive-able for the two months. Excellent service, good communication, and they even washed my car outside and in. Would suggest to anyone, even if the appointment is less convenient than another shop.
I can't remember how many years they have been caring for my cars! They are excellent mechanics & do good work! My current truck has 164,000+ miles & my Bimmer has 134,000+ miles & both are going strong! I highly recommend them!

Someone rear-ended me and I chose Schodack Auto Body because of reviews I read. They did a great job, car looks perfect, Mike Kelly at the desk is super personable and professional. Enterprise rental is just down the block. Couldn't have been more painless and I would recommend them highly.
We dropped my girlfriends car off after being recommended by State Farm after hitting a dear. What was supposed to take a week to repair ended up taking two weeks after they "found" a cracked radiator. The radiator was not cracked because if it was she wouldn't have been able to drive it the month prior to getting it fixed. Also after getting it back we found that it had almost 3,000 more miles than it did when it was dropped off and it had a check engine light. We went to stop and grab something out of the car one night and it was nowhere to be found. Will never bring another car there.

Had my 2015 F-350 in to repair some parking lot damage to the right rear quarter panel. A $1200 job. Went here as they are a State Farm preferred shop. I also asked them to do paint less debt removal on two dimples on the tailgate. Though the repairs seem satisfactory, I was disappointed in the condition my truck was returned to me. When I got it home, I looked under the bed tonneau cover and couldn't believe the mess. Had to get my leaf blower out to clean things up. The driver's side running board was also covered in overspray. Spent a couple of hours cleaning that mess up. Might return here in the future, but only after having a long talk with these fellows first.
Took our car in with an alternator problem but had been told by another auto shop that we had a starter problem too. We mentioned that to Schodack. They took a look and told us that we did not have a starter problem - even though they could have pretended that the other auto shop was right and charged us anyhow. We appreciated that honesty.
Schodack Auto Body is a top notch body shop that provides outstanding customer service. My car was damaged by a plow - while parked and unoccupied, this winter. Schodack Autobody repaired the damage, expertly matched the paint, and detailed my car while it was in their care. A week after receiving my repaired car, I noticed one of my door handles was lose, and I returned it to Schodack Auto, mentioning the lose handle was likely NOT from their repair or the accident. Mike had my door fixed, without charge, in 10 minutes! We are very lucky to have a shop like this one in our area. Great quality work and outstanding customer service. Jon (Castleton)
Schodack Auto.... the vacation savers!! On our way to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard my minivan broke down but it was a blessing in disguise. I was able to get my car and family to Schodack Auto safely and I explained our situation. We had to catch a 6:15pm ferry. It was 1pm. They assessed the damage and it was going to be repairable but would take 3 hours. They promptly got to work and an employee lent us his truck so my wife and I could take our 3 kids mini golfing. The car was done at 4pm and we were able to make the 8:45p ferry, the second to last boat. Vacation saved! To top it off I received a call from them the next day. They wanted to check in on the car and my family. If you are looking for great personel who are skilled and know how to work with people, look no further, Schodack Auto is the place. Thank you again! We will never forget our amazing experience.
