I went a while ago but I had a really good time. So much to see and do. I liked the ducks, big chairs, so many different products, apple cider donuts, etc. etc. Great time, fun for the whole family.

Went out this past October with my parents. We had a lovely flight of hard ciders and wines. Unfortunately it was very close to closing, but I can't wait to come back and see the place in full swing! Definitely a pleasant experience. ☺️

Great place for all ages! Witnessed how they press the apples to make cider - same way it was done in 1856. They had a few cheese, chocolate samples you could try. Very informative information inside - it's more than just a store. It's like a small museum. And they have ducks and geese outside you can feed. This place is a gem and we are fortunate to have such a place within driving distance. Go there - you'll love it!

Update 10/25: online ordering is back!!! Also new games for everyone And they’re part of Harvest Hosts!! Freshest cider, delicious food, educational, beautiful scenery, great fresh and local apples, feed ducks and geese, a playground and gift store. Something for everyone!! I we love it here. Wish they’d add back online ordering.

This is always a great place for the whole family. Apples and cider are the best. The sharp cheddar is rich. Feeding ducks. Plan on eating lunch there. Great prices. Picture taking opportunities and much more. Must visit if in the area.

Super fun place, I come here every time I'm in CNY. It's best in the fall but it can be VERY crowded. I recommend visiting about an hour before closing time so the lines aren't too long.

Awesome place for kids! Plenty of things for them to do as the grownups have some drinks in the tasting room. Be prepared to wait as this place gets pretty busy. There is snack bar that offers food and ice cream. The store has everything you can think of. The wine and ciders were very good. Would definitely go back.

My wife and I have made it a tradition to visit Fly Creek Cider Mill whenever we’re camping in the area. Unfortunately, it feels like the place has become more of a tourist stop than the warm, welcoming spot we used to love. It’s sad to say that what used to be one of our favorite cider donuts has lost its quality — it looked and tasted more like a grocery store version than the fresh, homemade treat we used to look forward to.

This place was a hidden gem on our weekend trip. We tried a delicious flight of ciders, had delicious food and bought delicious products. Also fed some ducks.

Feeding the ducks and geese was fun. The store was nice but many of the food items that looked homemade actually said "distributed" or "made for" in small print on the label. The group I was with loved the cider and tasting options. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the donuts. We got the warm ones and they were dry with almost no cinnamon or sugar on the outside. Would rate the ambiance 5, the cider 5, the donuts 1.

Very fun place to bring your family to. The store is well packed with various different items. The Ducks and other fowl animals are fun to feed. They had activities for the whole family. If you are planning to eat lunch here the food options are limited but the ice cream is great.

A trip to Fly Creek used to be a highlight of our vacations in the Cooperstown/Milford area. Used to be. Things have changed at the Cider Mill just as they’ve changed everywhere else. I don’t know why I expected Fly Creek to be untouched by recent events, but it was. What used to be a hometown family run small business now reeks of profit-driven commercialization. Want to make sure you like the $14.99 12oz salsa, or the $17.99 tomato sauce? The place that used to provide samples of most items is no more (they did have small samples of tiny pieces of cheese and tiny pieces of fudge, but they were empty or nearly empty during the entire time we were there). Prices are really high. $22.99 for a strawberry-rhubarb pie? Sorry. Even by my ‘everything is priced too high’ standards, this place is now insultingly expensive. $3,000 for a cracked chair that isn’t supposed to crack? Or $799 for a single ‘glider’ chair? Sorry, but we’ll have to find a different highlight on future trips to the area.

Fly Creek orchard is a great place to take the family! They have little games to entertain the kids, plus a feeding station for the ducks and geese. The store itself is very nice with a lot of spreads and pickled options. The corn salsa is my all time favorite that they make. The snack bar is also amazing with a lot of homemade dishes.

This is a nice day trip when looking for something to do! I used to come here once a week before moving out of state 8 years ago. Since my return a lot has changed. I was most disappointed that there was no longer any tasting samples around the store like there was. I did not purchase nearly as much as I would have. I settled for a hard apply raspberry cider slushy, and followed by a glass of Juicy Sweet hard cider. Make sure you get your 16oz pour if you get a glass of the juicy sweet at $10 as indicated on the menu ... They tried to pour it in a wine glass and then I noticed their sign said 16oz. We had fun, just was a major let down. The kids fed the ducks and did duck racing.

Fly Creek Cider Mill is a go-to spot for fall festivities! I’ve been twice and really enjoyed both visits. The wine area upstairs is lovely, the staff is kind, and the shop always has a great selection of goodies. Their apple cider is some of the best I’ve ever had! The restaurant serves classic comfort food at a good price—the mac 'n cheese was especially tasty. We’re already looking forward to returning again this year!

A delightful stop near Cooperstown, NY. Plenty of food and ice cream options for dining. Country store with limitless things to browse and purchase. Alcoholic beverages upstairs. Places to feed ducks, geese and chicken along the waterway behind the buildings. Paved walking trail. Even a spot to try your luck slicing a bag of dirt purchased from the country store. Plenty of seats around to get off your feet to take it all in. Machines of corn are available by the water to feed the various birds. 25 cents for a handful of corn. Change machines are also along the trail to get quarters. I would recommend 1 to 2 hours to be able to grab a bite to eat and walk around the property and building before heading out to another venture.

This place is incredible. Fun for the whole family. I went on a Sunday early in October, so there were quite a few people there, but we didn't spend more than 10 minutes on a line. The cider here is fantastic. It's the first time I had an apple cider that I liked. Don't miss out on the frozen cider. It's delicious. Free parking, free entry. Pay for what you'd like. There's a food stand and a huge shop where you can buy jams, seasonings, sauces, recipes, apples, cider, donuts, etc. They have a bunch of ducks and different birds that you can feed. Make sure you bring quarters or dollars to get change.

We love Fly Creek. Wish they could bring back the food sampling for better tasting options. However, always enjoy watching the cider being made, tasting adult beverages, as well as homemade apple cider. Lots of great household supplies, homemade breads, cookies, mixes, mustards, fudge, and so much more! My kids love the duck races, feeding the ducks & geese, and gemstone mining! Lots of fun for everyone.. Food stand is wonderful for a bit to eat or sitting to enjoy a beverage and relax.

The first sign sums up how we found this place... we're on a road trip because my husband wants to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame. We stopped here before the hotel, because I love trying new ciders and I am so glad we did. The flights we tried were both great, I loved the info, videos, and other things up on the walls. The player piano made my day! My grandparents had one we used to play on. Seems like it could be a fun place to stop even with family. I loved all the silly photo op spots

My first time visiting this place was truly amazing ! The apple cider was incredibly delicious, and we couldn't resist ordering the broccoli cheddar soup twice, as it was the best we've had in recent memory. But the chili, well, it should be called the BEST CHILI because it was absolutely delicious! It made for a perfect meal on a chilly afternoon. We also indulged in a bit of souvenir shopping in the store ? and took a nice stroll around the orchard. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a blast feeding the geese ? A delightful experience!

My wife made a review and tried to update it with photos and appeared to be blocked. So here you go Fly Creek. Another negative review. Pretty disappointed that this is not handicapped accessible. No elevator so mother in law had to struggle to get upstairs to visit the tasting room with us. Also, no tasting of fudge like their videos state you can do. Because of Covid. Yet you can buy wine tastings. Doesn’t make much sense. Their items in the shop are overpriced. Also there were inappropriate labels on the display of Rada knives. See photos. Saying knives to kill your mother in law and Jamaican husbands. Can’t make this stuff up. The cashiers and sales people in the store were Jamaican according to their name tags so I’m assuming they perhaps thought the sayings were funny. We didn’t think so.

Always a favorite stop! This is the first time visit with the new tasting room upstairs. It's a nice place to get a quick taste of the adult beverages they have to offer. Lots of things to do for the kiddos, and the snack bar outside has more to offer than just apple treats.

We come here each year, I love to use the growth chart❤️ my kids love feeding the ducks and doing the duck races. Being a local it's a nice afternoon out. Staff is so friendly and helpful. The owner is awesome, today I watched him changing garbage in the food area not an employee, that shows you how family this place is. And I love the new addition that was added on this year

We were in town for another event and decided to check out Fly Creek before heading home. This mill is an interesting tourist attraction, and I was certainly not prepared for what we walked into once we entered the building! While I find the history of the cider mill interesting, it is a bit over the top in terms of a touristy feel on the inside of the building. TVs with professionally recorded how-to cooking videos, music on repeat about the mill, hats and clothing blasted with the fly creek namesake, it's certainly not what I would expect from a cider mill in the middle of a small, quiet town. We checked out some of the alcohol options in the micro bar on the second floor. I will say the apple raspberry cider was quite good! It was a fun experience for the time we were in Cooperstown and I may come back if I find myself up there again.

Such a cute stop! I am so glad we stopped here! Everything was so good especially the cider slushy! The flowers were beautiful! This is such a great spot for kids. There was so many activities for them including feeding ducks and a duck race and a lot of interactive learning. The little store was so cute to walk through and had a lot of great stuff to buy!

I've been coming to Fly Creek Cider Mill since I was a young girl and this year I was able to take my four children to also experience it. I now live in Maryland but our relatives still live in NY and we always try to make the effort to come visit Fly Creek. The setting is beautiful, the staff is warm and welcoming, the foods and products are delicious, and there is plenty for the children to do. My kids enjoyed duck racing, feeding the ducks, and tasting the cider. The fudge selection is delicious and we took some for the long drive home! The new tasting room area with seating was very nice. I enjoyed the flight sampler (my favorites were the wine slushes!). Very thankful this business was able to survive after the impact of COVID closures.

Very clean and friendly shop to explore. You can find very unique gifts for any one in your family. Prices have gone up but that's the normal now a days. I've been visiting here for years and it's still fun ! Children are always outside playing or feeding the many different colored ducks in the pond. If you are in the area it's a must to stop by and see for yourself !

Didn't have enough time to go inside. The line was very long, a very good sign. The sights, decor and landscaping are amazing! Great for all ages. There's a snack bar/ice cream shop. Samples of products that are available on line are provided inside.
