This is a bandit shop and I will be filing two complaints, one with the State Troopers and one with State Atty Generals office.
Charged over $500 for a tow out and took the car back to his shop. The car belongs to my unemployed son so I had to bail him out.
My son, against my advice left the car there, I told him daily to go get the car because they will charge crazy numbers for lot storage which apparently he didn't believe.
He called them daily but they never returned his calls... They say they did but we have phone records that show they didn't. What they were doing was avoiding giving him pricing to rack up more money on the storage. When he went in person (I made him stop calling and show up in person) they wanted $990.
$480 for the tow and $510 for 6 days....
These guys are criminals first rate and the DMV needs to close this clown show down.
Great place for used parts and they found me a transmission for a better price then the other guys John was great will be going back for some more parts thanks again
Called this place back in December 2022 talked to the owner about a rv we were flying down to pick up. Wanted to get the oil and filters changed for our trip back home.
Asked how much it would run its a mercedes sprinter chasis his comment was oh that's gonna be expensive!!!
I laughed and said ok how much he says around 300.00 I said ok please schedule me
When I dropped off the rv he said around 400 and I said you said 300 . Asked him to look at brakes not having any issues
When we picked up the rv the oil change was 500 bucks and he charged us 130 for brake inspection and topped off lp for a total of 650.00 bucks.
Beware this guy's a real piece of work.
Also when I was checking out another customer came in and shared some choice words with the owner as well.
Just thought I would share my experience with those place.
Saw they had part I needed listed on their website for 35.00. Called and spoke with owner about the part and said they definitely had it and would get it pulled but it might take a couple of hours. Also the price was now 65.00(owner made some political comments that it was the Democrats fault etc...). I needed the part and even though I could find it cheaper the shipping from out of state made it a wash. As I was over an hour drive away I called in a couple of hours at 130 and was told part was pulled ready to go. I drive there and when I arrive I can tell the part is wrong. I ask what it was from and indeed it was accidentally pulled from wrong car. Owner is gone guy that pulled the part said they have right one and will pull it. Owner in meantime returns assures me they have the part I now have been waiting over an hour. He goes out comes back and says he found the car and guy is pulling it. Another hour passes guy comes in and says that the car owner found is wrong year. They say it is really overgrown in yard(it is now almost closing time) and they know they have part just can't find car. Their total incompetence wasted over 5 hours of my time and 30 bucks in gas to try to and from there for no reason. Do yourself a favor and Avoid this place at all cost.
Jimmy is always a great guy. They litterally sold the tires I called on day before right before I got there. He went out of his way to find me a set and took loose on tires to give me price quoted. Thank you!
Went there looking for a rear bumper, spoke with Jim who seemed nice enough. He passed me onto Tony or Tommy as he was the one that knew where the car was that the bumper was coming from. 5 phone calls and two weeks later, still no bumper but a ton of piss poor excuses. My initial impression was a good one, that has since changed drastically. I wouldn't let this place put air in my tires.
Tommy and Jim are nice people! I have been dealing with different yards for different parts for 7 years now...and Tommy and Jim are one of those top people who are nice and super professional. Horner's Automotive is a 10/10 yard for me :)
This man is a liar and a cheat. I'm not sure how anyone could say this is an honest man except that man is a chameleon and will tell you what you want to hear. Didn't communicate, very poor business and added $100 to bill without explanation. Very shady, criminal.
I like this time to thank Jim and Tommy for doing a great job and their honesty. It's nerve-wracking when you're buying from Canada over the internet, they made it easy and very transparent. The quality of the parts we're second to none, Tommy did a fantastic job on the shipping and Jim your pricing and product was fantastic. A game thank you both.
My boyfriend drives an 88 Cadillac that is hard to find parts for. We went to Horner's looking for a headlight after hitting a deer. They found us one within a matter of minutes for a very low price and it was delivered the next day. Great place if you're looking for specific car parts!
Strange experience for me. I told them I could only 500. It came up to 540. I was stearn I need a muffler. No muffler and my front windows don't work now. I paid for a new ignition that cost me 540. Omg I'm floored
Jim the owner is a hands-on operator with a mind like an encyclopedia. he knows parts he knows interchangeable parts, and he doesn't sell any junk. Their mechanics are outstanding
Bought a vehicle at Homer's Automotive. Any problems I've had with the vehicle since I have bought it almost a year-and-a-half ago he's always there to help. And if I need it part it's always at a great price. He is unlike most used car add a Salesman
Poor communication never calls you back will never buy from them again tried to do business with them for over a month nobody ever knows what is going on owners don't call you back
