My 80 year old mom went off the road while the roads were super icy. The owner came out to assess the situation after trying with his pickup he came to the conclusion we needed the big truck to come out. After a small wait his well mannered son came with the big truck to save the day. My mother received top notch service and they got my mother and her car home safely. Professiona but laid back very easy to deal with and not snody or shady so they get a 10 out of 10. And they actually know what there doing and they just make doing business easy for the customer. I actually felt like i can trust the mechanic as a man with good morals and i very high degree of character as a man through and through. Im a actual customer driving a semi dry van for a company from nj , im from north Philly and you can see the hood in me a mile away and this man treated me with everything i would expect in a good man and it was genuine and that alone is more then enough to want to leave a positive review . As a Black Man i just want to say good people that aint on no funny business!!! Straight shooting, honest, not trying to run your pockets! Thanks
The worst roadside service you will ever experience. Our driver got stuck since Saturday, they showed up and told it was starter need replacement. We supplied the starter and waited for them for 2 days to replace simple starter. We called many times they keep saying we are on another services calls and will go after done. Please stay away from these scammers, they will take your money to give you stupid excuses. Don’t trust these people complete garbage service. I wish there was 0 rating available.
Tow truck driver came to me broken into the ta center. This driver Tyler help me very much. He try to start this truck in ta but was in able . He tow me to shop on Saturday after new year and was able to change my cpc very quick to get me back on the road for good price . Highly to recommend Tyler and tri state good price and very fast service . Thank you Tyler and happy the best new year !!!!
Worst guys to deal with, not trustworthy, just money takers. Got stuck here in Goshen a guy came in and by checking visually said the starter is bad need to replace that. I got the starter by myself and they said someone will come in night and they didn't showed up. He said someone will come in morning again nobody showed up. They waisted my whole night and whole day by lying because they already took the enough money and now he just has to come to put the part in. Greedy people don't trust them and their boss said find someone else. If you call them they will take money just sitting idle in their truck. That's what they did exactly. Bad attitude no sense how to speak with someone, zero customer service skills just greed for money
Replaced transmission that broke near them. Excellent service, fair price, and even had their driver deliver my load to northeast. Can't ask for much more than that. Thanks Frank.
Left us on the side of the highway for hours because he was mad at his employees.cost us 4 hours plus he would not refund my deposit. He is a real piece of work
1st time using a towing company, I was surprised how easy they were to deal with, customer service was amazing, and best of all they came quick, and the price was right. Matt the tow truck driver was a true professional, and a overall nice guy. Definitely will use them again.
Can't express enough how fortunate I was to get help in an unfortunate situation. Im a semi driver that got stuck on route 23, 5 miles from 84 because my truck couldn't climb the mountain and apparently that mountain is notorious for trucks getting stuck there which begs to question why is there no signs, anyways if your ever up there or stuck in the surrounding area I highly highly recommend tri state repair for your towing/repair needs they are fair and honest folks. How honest? Im glad you ask, let's just say I got quoted like $600 buck initially but the Son Tyler came down hook up to my truck and pulled me forward a couple of feet over the hump and charged me half the quote yes like $300. Also, I called other places like K&A towing, and they charged me $2500(rip off). I was so relieved. These guys seem honest and fair.
“TRI-STATE HEAVY REPAIR LLC scammed us out of $2,028 for a fake diagnosis and attempted sabotage. Broke down on Friday, June 27th, they promised to show up but left us stranded, then took our truck at 4-5 AM without consent on Saturday, holding it until July 2nd with lies about waiting for an injector harness they blamed. They removed the injector 4 adjustment nut, left it inside the head, causing it to break in half from the loose bolt, requiring us to replace injector 4, and risking catastrophic damage after learning we were taking our truck out, hoping I wouldn’t make it far and would still need them. The receipt shows $165 for unnecessary AC Freon and fake injector tests. They’ll try to hold and drag you as long as possible, basically holding you hostage to charge their hourly rates—professional crooks!! I brought my own blower motor for them to install, but they lied about an internal fuse being the issue and claimed major AC leakage instead. After getting the truck back, I replaced the blower motor myself, and it’s worked great since. A friend picked up our trailer with his tractor, and our driver drove the truck out with only 3 injectors working. A shop in Newark, NJ, found the problem and fixed it the same day, confirming their sabotage. Avoid this dishonest, unprofessional company at all costs!

Everything started with one of my two trucks breaking down about two months ago in New York. I’m based in Georgia, so I was looking for options from a distance. After receiving a ridiculously high estimate from a local shop, I was referred to Tyler. He offered to transport my truck from New York to Georgia, where I had originally planned to repair it.
Tyler told me that if I wasn’t in a rush, he could offer a better price. He picked up the truck from the shop in New York and stored it at his own yard until the timing worked for both of us to bring it down to Georgia. During that time, he asked what issues the truck had, and I explained everything. He then asked if he could take a look at it. I didn’t even know he had a shop—but once I found out, everything changed.
I told him about my situation, including that I was still making payments on the truck and would need to fix it gradually. Without even knowing me personally, just through phone conversations, Tyler and his team started helping me in a way that blew me away. They looked for solutions, worked around my schedule and budget, and treated me with respect and integrity. Their support has been incredible.

The service provided by Tyler was very professional and courteous. Tyler and his technicians completed all service needed to keep my class A RV running safely on the road.
Tyler is the best! They have very good rates!!! They came in 30 minutes and fixed our shifted freight on a flatbed in couple hours. Other companies in area will charge you 3 times more.
I own several trucks that run through his area. Whenever one has a problem Tyler and his crew will jump on it and try to get it fixed with as little downtime as possible. I also run a lot of superloads through New York. They will come out to go through my equipment and look for any potential problems that may arise. This crew does not hesitate to help me with any mechanical problem.

My company AAL LOGISTICS called for service yesterday Saturday 03/15/2025. The service cost was priced at $450. Techn showed up with inadequate equipment explaning that his truck just got rubbed, than half way true the service compressor ranout of fuel. After one hour break he complited the job charging $625 dollars.
Thec completed the job, extra charge was explaned as it took more time. One star for completing the task.
I took my truck to Tri-State Heavy Repair after a previous repair in Albuquerque wasn’t done properly. They assured me they would redo the entire repair correctly and even send me pictures so I could try to get my money back from the first shop. However, after getting back on the road, I never received the pictures they promised.
Worse yet, I soon discovered that the truck was low on oil again. When I reached out to Tyler about the issue, my message never delivered—he had blocked me. I then called the shop, and they said he would return my call, but he never did. Now, I’m stranded with a truck that has no oil.
This has been an incredibly frustrating and costly experience, and I would highly discourage anyone from doing business with Tri-State Heavy Repair. Their lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to stand behind their work have left me in a worse situation than before.
They told me one price and then they do the work they tell me another price they charged me $1400 for a starter change that took them 1.5 hours to do. Then they didn’t even have a computer to do a regen so the truck wasn’t even fixed correctly. They are a rip off
Tri-state heavy repair was out to me and 30 minutes and Matt was a fantastic mechanic and was able to get me back on the road right away. I recommend tri-state to anybody who is in need of mechanical repair on the road.
I had to pickup an air dryer trailer at a quarry about a half hour away from this shop. Trailer was not roadworthy. The sent on of their road guys named Matt. Very professional and courteous. They patched the trailer up enough to get it to their shop. Trailer needed 12 tires 4 hubs and they wired up marker lights in the middle of trailer. Great service courteous and professional. Great job guys. I would highly recommend these guys.
I spent over $1200 for this outfit to diagnose and try and repair my truck. After another code came on,I drove 30 miles to their shop to clear code and they wanted to charge me more. Terrible service try some place else. Update to response...I drove to your shop and I did not expect you to come to me. I just wanted code read and reset. Mostly to make nothing major was going on. I never expected to be billed for a 5 minute activity after I drove all the way to your shop. If you are good with that service more power to you.
Ed at Tri-State saved the vacation my brother & I just started out on. Days before leaving we had new tires put on the RV but a problem developed Saturday late afternoon just after we shopped for groceries. 1 tire wouldn't hold air. After at least 15 phones calls to businesses that were closed or who gave us sometimes absurd reasons why they couldn't help, we found Tri-State Heavy Repair. Ed did not want to leave us stranded even though we weren't a big rig. We luckily made it there. Ed was amazing, professionally & very experienced. He had to be resourceful to fix this situation which he did with humor. He got us on the road again safely and off we went to a great vacation. We were very grateful.
