AAA chose this company to tow my car for what turned out to be a dead battery late in the evening of July 3rd. The tow driver was a gem, so friendly & helpful, truly a delightful human being, I can't say enough good things about him. The owner, not so much. I was told the owner could get my car a new battery on the morning of July 4th, so I agreed to tow to their shop vs my usual AAA certified shop since I could get my car quickly despite the holiday. July 4th, no call by the early afternoon so I called, the owner said I could come any time & to just call when I was on my way. I said I could come at 6:30, he said he was busy for a couple of hours but would call me when he's at the shop. No problem, but I never got a call. I was able to pick up on the morning of July 5th which is fine, though I would've taken it to my regular shop if I had known they couldn't in fact get it back to me on the 4th as stated. The owner was pretty curt to the point of being rude, and almost argumentative over the simplest things. I complimented his tow truck driver, to which he responded his nephew is an idiot. He was on the phone when I arrived, and after referred to the customer on the phone as an idiot. But I think the thing that annoys me the most was the sign behind the desk starting ALL forms of payment will be charged a 3% processing fee. The tow services are fine, just don't tow to their shop. Definitely sticking with CDS going forward, they've never let me down.
My car broke down on West Point and Express was dispatched by AAA. Very quick response time and they were able to work on my car and have it fixed the next day.
car complete breakdown, fast response, quick pickup of car towing. Morning pickup, afternoon repair, car done by 5 PM same day. Very fair price for towing and repair. Very happy with fast same day response, pickup, repair, completion, price.

The city of Newburgh towed my car here because it showed I didn’t have insurance which I did and even squared it away with DMV. I called to make arrangements and the guy who answered was extremely nasty to me. I already had a rough week and am having health problems I didn’t need this. The guy had nerve to tell me I had to pay $150 just to come get stuff out of my car.
You know what? You can have the car because I was trying to sell it anyways. My car was towed for no reason, I never broke the law. There was no need to be nasty over the phone, no need.
I still have the title btw- so if you want to give me a few hundred, I’ll gladly bring the title to you and we all can be happy here. But I’m just letting you know, look out for some more bad reviews because that guy who answers the phone had no right to talk to me the way he did. You guys have no idea what my life is like at the moment, no idea :(
I had a terrible experience with this towing company. The person answering the phone was rude and unprofessional, and the towing fee was outrageously high with hidden charges.I would not recommend this company to anyone. Avoid them if you can!
Popped in today for a Insurance Photo Inspection which I had been putting off for weeks on my daughters Jeep. My experience was quick, pleasant and efficient. Must say this team of individuals were on point with ensuring that me and my daughter made it safe to our destination last night. from the owner, to Carlos and Luis. they not only were very professional in the services in which they provide, they were compassionate each one of them showed great concern to helping me fix my flat tire to get back on the road. they went above and beyond and for that I am truly grateful. If ever I return to this side of town I would go back for they were the best. I want to say thank you again for everything we made it safely back to the city. So the unfortunate thing in life is .....everyone 's experience is going to be different no matter where you go or what you choose to do.... or even the time of day. Well my express with this shop (AL with Express) was anything but positive!! As a matter a fact, I should have listen to my gut and not allowed my car to be towed to his shop! The only reason why I decided to allow my cat to be towed to Al's shop is because of his very nice Tow Truck driver who came to me when I called Triple A!! I told the driver I already had a mechanic but he insisted bc of the situation that I give Al a try!! Well, for starters, Al was very rude to me from day 1 that I had my car. That was a red flag that I ignored! I should have picked up my car that very day, but I thought maybe I was being impatient and overreacting so i did check him but I also chose to move on and continue dealing with him! Everyday that I called him, there was a different excuse/lie (i.e. I ordered the part, waiting on it to come). Before I go any further, when I dropped my car off, I had almost a full tank of gas and oil in my car!!! So the above mentioned excuse went on for about 5 or 6 days with even a quote being dropped in there that I should be prepared to pay!! Btw, I always had to call him, he was never polite or professional enough to give me a call to update me on my car which I told him I needed in a timely manner. So on the sixth day, he told me what time to come and pick up my car that he would be finished working on it!!! Yes!! Finally my car is ready!! Sike!!! Only for me to call him again before I get the for him to finally tell me he didn't do jack squat to my car...... so yes, he had been lying to me that whole time with every single phone call I made to him!!! It gets worse!! To add insult to injury.....one time I popped up unannounced to check the progress of the "work" and was told by Al that they were still "waiting" on the right part to come in!!! So I asked where my car was, he told me ot was in the "back"!! Again, sike!!! I soon found what "it's in the back" meant!! So remember I said had almost a full tank of gas?? They were obviously driving my car bc I had no gas left!!! Not only was gas tank empty, but so was my oil tank to the point where my car started smoking which it did not/was not doing prior to me leaving it at Express!! So needless to say again, I wholeheartedly regret that I didn't listen to my gut and had my car towed to my mechanic bc he's an honest Man, unlike Al!!!
The good news is that the inspection was quick. The bad news is that the person who inspected the car was unnecessarily rude? If my husband wasn’t with me I definitely wouldn’t have stayed. Honestly nervous to review them in case they change their mind about submitting my photos. That should tell you what you need to know.
Al (owner) and Tony (Driver) helped my family get to a much better place after a disaster situation. I can't explain how much they helped to navigate the situation.
Tony was an excellent driver and skilled tower.
Al is a "real person who wants to help" as my boyfriend put.
I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again. They are NOT a place that will take advantage of you.
In fact, they do what they can to prevent getting taken advantage of.

I went for a photo inspection. The guy who came to do the inspection had no manners and was very unprofessional. He kept mumbling his questions and when I asked for him to repeat the questions he sighed and moved onto the next question without even giving me a chance to actually hear what the question was and to give a proper answer.
Update: Someone called to discuss my experience and to see why I left a negative review. Then proceeded to tell me that the business doesn’t make any money from photo inspections and that he’s thinking of not offering this service anymore. I told the person over the phone that I understand the business doesn’t make any money from doing these photo inspections but you guys are offering the service so people should get a pleasant experience while being at this establishment. If all these bad reviews are being left then maybe some sort of training needs to be offered to there staff on customer service.
I came here for a photo inspection for my insurance. The gentleman who assisted me was helpful and accommodated my specific problem. I haven’t used the towing service but, given the quality of the attention today, I will call them if I need a tow.
After my battery died, Al towed the car to his shop. He completely charged the battery and went above and beyond to make sure I could get back on the road safely. Al and Express Towing will be my go-to from now on. Great price, great service.
Never go to this place, I do not recommend it at all. There is an old woman there, all bitter, and they never want to work. I am going to report them to the city since I went a couple of times to do a state inspection for my vehicle and they did not want to do it. they refused.
Went there for a photo inspection for Insurance. Voicemail says they’re here every day 10 to 4 I show up at 11:30. Nobody’s here one phone number doesn’t work the other phone number the voicemail is full and the other one nobody answered if you need your picture taken for a car insurance Definitely go somewhere else. As I was leaving a lady showed up who said I have to wait for her son to get home from school to take the photo. Obviously I left.
Waited over 2 hrs for a towtruck that never showed. Al was there in 10min. Got my car started, didn't even need a tow. Reasonable, reliable and personable. Will absolutely use him again. Was honest and came to our rescue. Thank you Al!
Horrible experience. Express towing was dispatched through AAA. The driver was rude and clearly did not want to be there. He called it AAA abuse because I called in the Middle of the night to tow a car from my house.I work 2 jobs and had no choice in the matter. I pay for 24x7 towing. He was not happy he had to drop my car to another shop rather then his. When he dropped of the car he blocked 2 Garage bays when there was space on the side. I had to apologize to my mechanic. I have reported all this to AAA and will not used them again in the future. If the driver had issues with this call he should have refused it and give the business to someone who wants to work. Wish I could leave 0 stars
Went for a pre insurance inspection. I ended up in a totally different location because of Google maps issue. The gentleman I spoke to stayed late so I could get my inspection done. I also had a great conversation with him while he did the inspection.
I called yesterday to make sure I could come for a photo inspection. They said, yes, any time till 4. I got there at 3 and the person who does inspections was not there. The owner was not there but his sister was. She was rude and short with me. They told me to come back today. I came back and he kid did the inspection but didn't check anything, just asked me all the questions after taking pics. He was also unpleasant. Lousy experience over all.
The guy that took care of me was amazing good guy to talk to made me feel comfortable. Did his best to fix the problem on the spot and then towed me once couldnt have been done. (Not hid faul my spare sucked) the he towed me and charged me only for the tow. Would use again if I was stuck around there again.
Went in for a simple inspection and the owner/boss was rude, condescending, dismissive and had a temper with his customers. He likes to overcharge, so I suggest you go to an honest mechanic that won't rip off his customers. Will never be going back. Wish I would've looked at the reviews prior to coming here.
Will absolutely call them/ use them again in the future. I locked my keys (and my dog) in my car on an extremely hot day. From the time I called to them arriving at my house was no more than 10 minutes. Extremely kind, understanding, and speedy service. I will recommend to all my family and friends!! Thank you again!!
Unfortunately I could not give zero stars. Horrible customer service. Very rude and dismissive. Went in for a simple inspection. When I asked a question regarding the inspection the woman behind the counter became irate, stormed off and got her boss. Instead of calmly explaining the answer to my question The boss/ owner was very condescending and angry. Definitely will not be returning in the future if this is how they treat their customers when they have a simple question.
I had a horrible experience today with this lousy excuse for a business. Al, who runs the shop was very rude and irate after he learned that he would have to give back money after he failed to do his job. I went there this morning after my car stopped as I was approaching the i84W ramp. One of his employees, a very nice guy, brought me back to the business and left me in the hands of his boss and a mechanic. After paying $430 for a tow truck, labor, and two new coil packs which was identified as the problem by the boss, I was on my way! I thanked him and got in my car before stopping abruptly about 20 minutes away. My check engine light came on and I sputtered out just like I did the first time. Another tow truck was sent for me and when I arrived I waited again for another hour or two before I was told that I had to order more parts for at least $200 to fix the problem. At this point I asked for my money back for only the coils because after 11 hours of trying to get this problem fixed I was left with nothing solved. Al kept saying it was my fault because my car damaged his new coils that were put in as a result of my sparkplugs. On top of all this, the coils were not even new. He decided on his own that four used coils that he had sitting in his yard were just as good as two new coils so he decided to go with that instead. At the end of this whole thing when I decided to finally stop paying Al all of these new charges, he left my car without the sparkplugs or the coil packs installed. He pushed my car out into his driveway and instructed his mechanic to specifically NOT install the parts that were removed from my car. He was deflecting and blaming it all on the customer. A very unprofessional person in a business like this who clearly needs to reevaluate how he treats his customers. Do not recommend.
I had a fantastic experience with Express. Not only was their rate extremely reasonable, but their owner and staff were extremely understanding when towing me out of a tough situation. When my ride fell through to get back to their business, they came to pick me up and brought me to my car. They were very friendly and I could not have asked for better service. I would recommend them to anyone.
Fly-by-night, gypsy business if ever there was one. Completely disorganized and dishonest. Worked on my car and damaged it, then charged me for the replacement parts. Can't keep the same help there for more than a week at a time. I would N E V E R use this company for towing OR repairs of any kind. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a repair shop.
