Weight in, the guys in the back were great then Weight out, couple hundred pounds of aluminum. Then I stood in line for 45 minutes with 6 others ahead of me. Not one customer was paid out. Left with , no payment... customer service at counter never showed up. Will never go back! Kingston scrap for me... you suck SIMS
This place always has problems with the money machine. They take your scrap and then tell you it's down. I guess it's hard to find people that possess basic math skills and know how to count. I use to speak highly of this place , but not anymore. How do you take someone's scrap and then tell them to come back later? I'll be going elsewhere for now on , tired of it.
The people to there are very helpful and friendly. Just take what metals you have, cash it in, and follow their rules. The people make your visit easy. The prices are pretty good too despite the price of metals being down.
These guys are crooks , do not take your metal to them . Bad service had me go threw the scale twice both times a different # , off by over a ton and a half . Wish I could give no stars.
Best place in the Orange county area to take your junk cars. Get the most money. They paid me $325. for my car, at Brim's Recycling they would only give $135.
I have scrapped several cars here, and this place is very well run compared to some others I won’t mention. They keep the yard clean I haven’t got a flat tire here yet,and the scale house is big and has a well lit outside scale so you can see your weight as well,again unlike a few others where you take them at there word. You get in and out quickly here. I didn’t realize how good this place was until recently I used a few different yards due to the location of the scrap and wow now I realize how good this place is!
I called this facility on Saturday December 28, 2019. I spoke to a man who did not disclose his name. He was extremely rude. I asked him if this facility was a (ATF) an authorized treatment facility ? He had no idea what I was talking about. When you scrap your car it is the owner’s responsibility to notify DVLA that you have scraped your car. If you don’t the owner can be fined. My advice to anyone who is going through this process is to do your research first. This employee also stated that they pay a flat rate of $300.00 dollars before he hung the phone up on me. This company doesn’t even deserve a one (1) star rating ! My advice is to stay far away from this company, go somewhere else.
I come here 3 times a day sometimes.This place has great prices and it's always the same friendly people.shoutout to the yard Inspector he is such a great guy and always willing to help if needed and makes sure the area is swept.The same goes for the guy in the office always friendly and smiling .plus what's cooler than seeing cars get crushed while you unload ??
Very professional and fair place to bring your scrap metal. Went there for the first time with old pool on my trailer and was concerned about backing it up. No problem, the yard is huge; there is plenty of space and no need to even back up your trailer. Fair price for the metal and friendly people working there.
