Brought my car here to get it inspected, they failed it for my front brakes and when I asked why they failed I was told that they are fine now but might not be in 6 months. Will be recommending against going here to everyone I know.

Avoid This Place – Misdiagnosed My Car and Left Me Stranded I brought my 2015 Nissan Altima to Auto Spa (also known as West Point Auto Care) to fix a serious wobbling issue when turning right. After keeping the car for only about 30 minutes, they told me the issue was due to a bad passenger-side CV axle and a bent rim. I had already had those parts replaced just a few months ago and told them that—but they insisted those were the cause and that replacing them would fix the problem. Trusting their so-called “professional” diagnosis, I agreed to the repair and paid a good amount of money. A day later, I picked up the car and the exact same wobble was still there. Nothing was fixed. When I called them back, they casually told me additional repairs were needed—which were never mentioned before. Frustrated and not trusting them anymore, I took the car to a different mechanic. The second shop quickly diagnosed major issues that Auto Spa completely missed, including problems with the rack and pinion, tie rods, and brakes—all of which could’ve been spotted if Auto Spa had done a proper inspection. Now I’m stranded out of state in Ohio, dealing with expensive repairs that should’ve been addressed the first time. Either Auto Spa rushed the job, misdiagnosed on purpose, or simply doesn’t care about their customers. Either way, I feel taken advantage of, and I wouldn’t trust them to fix a bicycle, let alone a car.

I called asking for them to replace the FRION in my vehicle after I removed it for a repair. Instead of doing this, they did a “Diagnosis” and claimed that I needed to replace almost my entire AC system. Complete bullshit. The AC worked flawlessly before the FRION was removed. After telling them that I can’t afford to replace my entire AC they looked me in the eyes and asked me to consider financing it. They are either incompetent or they are scammers. Either way do not go here.

Reliable, dependable, honest ownership. 2 times emergency services for my Subaru and both times cost effective repair and valuable mechanical advice.

Tried to get me to purchase 4 new tires after already telling them I had an appointment to get new tires. There for a patch over a screw. They fixed the patch well but then decided to over inflate my tire. They're supposed to be 36. The patched tire is 45. Never give them money again.

Made an appointment for a NY state inspection day of over the phone. Also easy to reserve online. Service was quick, easy, and the gentleman even applied the new registration stickers. Thanks for the great service!

I am so happy with their service, I brought one of my cars for a minor service and not only it was fast but fair. Recently my other cat broke down and everyone was so helpful. They fix it and found other issues to make my car safe again. I highly recommend them they are honest and knowledgeable. This is my only mechanic every since. Thank you guys! Keep it up

They did not place back in my dipstick after my oil change. These guys tried to sabotage and kill my engine. All because they were unprofessional when i first arrived and I asked them are they going to help a customer who was standing there long. After a month i leaked significant oil. Way overpriced and its not on West Point. Their mistake on purpose or not couldn’t cost me my engine and i tow a mobile home.

I definitely don’t recommend this place. The service was horrible. There was no communication at all. I had my car towed because it died across the street from the shop. The guy they sent to tow my car was an amateur and ended up dropping my car off the tow truck. The owner gave me an attitude telling me it’s no big deal he could buy my car if he wanted to. Very rude. He told me he would have his issue fix the car no problem and get the car back to me as soon as possible I drove by the shop several times for days, and weeks while the car just sat their. After finally receiving my car it’s worse than before steering wheel shakes very badly, my high beams don’t work, AC doesn’t work and now the engine is making a horrible noise. When I addressed all these issues the shop owner preceded to tell me the car had these issues prior to coming to the shop. Please don’t waste your time and money at this location.

A few years back I had an oil change done here with no complaints. However, on a recent Friday I went there for a NY state vehicle inspection and it was a completely different experience. The staff told me that I needed new rotors and pads on the front brakes. I opted to just pay for the failed inspection and leave. It was clear that he was expecting me to agree to replace the brakes and he clearly wasn't happy that I didn't. That day and the following Monday I went to 2 other garages who both confirmed that my brakes were fine. I then paid the 2nd garage for the passed inspection. One of the mechanics suggested that I should have gone back to this garage and insisted that they pass the vehicle or get reported to the NY state DMV. I'm just glad that I didn't send my wife to get the inspection done.

Drove from Beacon to come here after finding them on RepairPal. Their price was very fair, they worked fast, and they were incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend!

Took my vehicle in for a service to get it ready for winter. Specifically asked for oil change/tire rotation, fluid tip off and tune up prior to first snowstorm. I was there for all of about 30 min. Was skeptical that everything I asked for was done in 30 min..once I got home, I noticed some leaves near the back of the engine block (wiper blade location) so I popped the hood to clean it out. None of my fluids were topped off, though fairly certain the oil was changed, I don’t have a good feeling the tires were rotated based upon the time and fluids issue. I will not be going back. I’d rather pay a dealership..at least I’d have piece of mind that what I ask for is actually done.

I went there last year, 2022, and I received an oil change and tire rotation. I figured since I was there I would also get a car wash. But the owner told me that the car wash is permanently out of service. It was a great place to get everything you need done for your vehicle and convenient for everyone that lives here, but the new owner only does garage work. No more car wash.

I called and spoke with Sahil, He was so understanding and accommodating, he went above and beyond to get it completed properly. I highly recommend the place for inspections or car washes, it was a great experience overall.

He called the company and called me back several times to follow up and make sure that everything went through and even gave me complimentary car wash. I highly recommend the place for inspections or car washes, it was a great experience overall.

I was informed my insurance was going to drop if didn’t inspect my vehicle, I called West Point auto spa and they recognized my need and asked me to bring the vehicle that same same day. I appreciate the service and hospitality given to me that day. You guys are great.

This Car Wash is by far one of the friendliest and best looking car washes that I have been to. The staff goes out of the way to help, I ended up getting an oil change and the "Corporal" wash. The manager (Nick) ended up helping me replace my wipers as well for free of charge. I would recommend going to see Nick.

Don't waste your money unless you want a half washed car. After getting car washed drove down the street and when I got out and looked at the car, I noticed they didn't even do the passenger side tires. I should have noticed before I left but I needed to be somewhere. I drove back to the establishment and the owner(who was sleep on couch) the guys that wash car have left for the day and to come back tomorrow. You are the owner, why can't you do it? Are you kidding me? I told him I'm not coming back and to just give me a refund. He then said he will give me a credit for a free car wash. And then asked why I didn't check it before I left. No, why didn't you all give me what I paid for? Told my coworker about the situation this morning and she stated that they always forget at least one of her tires. Also the inside of my vehicle was not cleaned well, so I basically had to clean it when I got home. Will never go back here. Poor service.

Fast service however the prices on the web site are not consistent with what they charge. They asked me what type of oil change I wanted (regular or synthetic) and automatically went for the highest value rather than ask me which oil brand i wanted. They charged $70.99 as per the websites full, best quality oil change but only charged me $6.50 for the extra quart when the website clearly shows they should have charged me $9.50. So did I get a cheaper oil with the premium oil change and they charged me too much or did they run out of the good oil and give me a discount on one quart? Pretty shady if you ask me. I've never paid $80 for an oil change.

Came three different times during normal business hours and they were either closed or the car wash was broken. Came again to have my oil changed asked that they check the tire pressure and fill the fluids. Was assured they did but there was no washer fluid at all. After questioning this twice and being told they did it. They said “oh we don’t have any more. Come back Monday. If you don’t like it the. Don’t come back at all”. Checked my tire pressure at another local establishment after that and two of the four tires were low. Also big greasy footprint on my car mat

They are fast, attentive, and the staff is really genuine in wanting to give you the best car for your care and family. My 10 month old was able to crawl around while we waited for about 35 mins for our car (floors are emaculant). Then, on top of all that, Stephanie (front desk), spent over an hour trying to fix and issue I was having with my out of state tag renewal situation. To say this team cares would be an understatement. Looking forward to the next couple years with them.

This place is very clean, the owner is exceptionally courteous, and they offer free drinks and wifi! On top of that, their prices are similar or lower than many places in the area. No brainer.

Best service from auto shop I've seen in a while. Definitely the best around NY. I'm from the south and these fellas exemplify Southern hospitality based on their quality of service and care. Their waiting room looks like a hotel lobby, with free drinks and wifi. They're always accessible, quick turnaround time, decent prices, explains everything in detail, and always willing to go beyond what's expected. This is the place I always go to and recommend to all my friends.

I always come here for my oil changes. All staff are very friendly and the service is always done correctly and quickly. My 20 year old was taken advantage of (because she's a young female) at the place on West Point- at the gas station there but the West Point Auto Spa and Lube ALWAYS take great care of her. They go out of their way to help her. I'd recommend this place to everyone.

For the price I paid I thought I'd be getting good service. I just went to this place for the first and last time. When I did my inspection I could literally still draw in the dirt on the top on my car with my finger. It was the window of my sunroof they missed. Are you kidding me? All that Fancy equipment for nothing. And the fact that the guys cleaning and drying off the car at the end didn't catch it, well poor service all around. Also they accidentally vacuumed up some important items in my car (that were carefully placed "out of the way"). Poor Service and carelessness. I don't mind spending the extra dollar for a good car wash, but this place I will never go to again.

Don't let the nice building fool you. This car wash is by far the lowest quality car wash I've had the displeasure of going to. They are overpriced, and also charge an additional $4 fee to run a truck through. When your vehicle is finally done getting "washed" there is a pretty high likelihood you will be disappointed. Drive the extra 15 minutes to the next car wash. It's worth it.
