Nice, honest local mechanic shop. I've been coming here for the last 3 years. Johnny charges fair prices, does good quality work, and goes out of his way to help out! Over the past few years, hes documented problems with a new lemon car for me that helped out in my buyback lawsuit against the manufacturer, and on another car, when the brake service light came on, saw that the brakes still had more than half their life left in them. He replaced the failed brake wear sensor instead of selling me on a brake job I didn't actually need. I wouldn't bring my cars anywhere else!
With today's cars having computer systems, l need to count on my local mechanic. Well, Johnny's serv sta has provided me w honest work. Recently, l thought l need brakes, when an alert light & buzzer came on. He got me in within 2 days, & solved my problem; being a loose wire to the rear brake. He could've charged me more, however his honest work was much appreciated 👍
Johnny knows cars! Car wasn't passing inspection, but Johnny was patient with us and directed us on what needed to be done and how we could help; car passed🤗
Johnny's was great, I blew a tire and needed all 4 replaced. Added an oil change and inspection. I showed up unannounced in the afternoon, had the car back the next afternoon. Johnny is super nice and fit me in - I probably would've had the car back sooner if I really needed it. Great place, prices were good.

I could not be happier with the professionalism and detail in which every aspect of my experience at Johnny’s Service Center was dealt with when I brought him a used car with several problems. He was able to prioritize the work and write up a detailed estimate which was explained to me in specific technical terms which Johnny himself spent time to make sure I absolutely understood. The end result was that my car was repaired to the extent it needed in the short term and there are some other repairs I can get to next month so that it was easy on the pockets. It was as clear that only what needed to be repaired was repaired and that also helped keep the cost down. Overall this was an excellent choice as it has been in the past for me. A very clean and professional environment with friendly, talented, and patient mechanics. I strongly recommend this business .
Johnny is the most honest and professional mechanic I have brought my vehicles to for the past 8 years now. His prices are fair and he doesn't give you the run around. He is extremely knowldegeble and his work is very good as all my vehicles have never presented the same issue after he has worked on them. If you're looking for a fair and honest shop, this is it. Would recommend to everyone.

Johnny has been taking care of my vehicles for over 20 years. I come from wherever I am to let him take care of the car or truck. He helps my wife to get home when she drops off car, and has helped us when we were stuck on the road. It is a forgotten comfort to have a mechanic you can trust and depend on.
I have taken all of my cars to these guys from my Mini to my F350 SD, a Subaru and a Ford Focus ST. Johny alway makes me feel welcome and they always go above and beyond!!
I can't say enough good things about Johnny's service center. John is friendly and honest to his customers and very communicative with us about what the car needs and how to take care of problems. This shop is truly a dealer alternative in terms of services but without the hefty price tag. I trust John and the integrity of his team. His employees all check in to ensure customers have provided approval for repairs to ensure no one is surprised by anything. If you live anywhere near Greenwood Lake, only take your car here.

Top notch service center. Always recommending to anyone I come across who needs auto repair. Very rare to find a non scrupulous service center. Owners like this are a dying breed. Can never hurt to give them a call for a comparison after you research prices. I can pretty much guarantee they come in less than the local competition and treat you wayyyyyy better. Keep up the good work!!
Absolutely love the crew at johnnys! Being a woman and someone who knows very little about vehicles I whole heartedly trust Johnny with my vehicle and trust that he is being true and honest with me. He explains in both detail and lamen terms everything that you need or don't need. As someone who drives a vehicle across country for work I wait until I'm back in New York just to send my car to johnnys for all the work it needs.

My family and I have been customers of Johnny's service center for the past eighteen years. His shop has kept my 2004 Toyota on the road; It still takes trips down to Florida with over 220,000 miles on the odometer thanks to the excellent and thourough workmanship of Johnny and his staff. His attention to detail exceeds that of the dealership without costing dealership prices! I've got a kid in college and I don't trust any other shop to repair and maintain her car. I love the fact that he takes the time to explain what the concerns are about your car, and he puts it in understandable laymans terms.
