Call ahead to save yourself the disappointment. I brought in over 100 lbs of THHN insulated copper. Expected to get the going rate of $2-$3 a pound and got $0.60 instead on checkout. Expensive mistake to make. Call ahead. Never coming back.
I don’t know what all of the Negative reviews are about, I had a wonderful experience with Brim! Steel was very professional, Kind and helpful from start to finish. He gave me a decent price for my Volkswagen beetle and wrote me a check right in the driveway. Would definitely recommend!
In a bad accident and car was towed there and called to get my personal property out of it and the man who answered the phone was nasty and said he wad told they could junk my car which I never said it could be junked..nonetheless I was in hospital with a broken back and couldn't get to it right away....so who is responsible for all my personal belongings that was in it?? Cuz I know what was in it and I want it back. But to be nasty to someone on the phone how do yall even keep in business?
Needed Chevy parts, price was way decent. Love going here, very organized for a junk yard. As for these older commenters, being rude won't get you far in life. Supply an demand
The people there don't bother you and you get your parts for a great deal, I've been there three times and have left happy 3 times, it is also well organized with sections.
Picked up my car a couple years back. Cut me a check right in my driveway. Decent pickup response considering it was right after Christmas. I just wish the check had been a little more but I'm pretty sure the market was tanked at the time. Tow truck driver was friendly enough
Worst junk yard around literally can buy a new bumper for 100 dollars and they charge 150 for a used one that’s crazy , junk yards were supposed to be cheaper this place is just a rip off
These guys are so unprofessional & disgusting!! They shouldn’t be in business . His wife isn’t friendly at all and he then comes out screaming for mistakes . Would never go there ever again ! He up charged us to get my car to $300 when it should have been only $100 , total rip off. . STAY AWAY !!
Do yourself a favor and keep driving to Trovis or simms with your scrap metal. They'll give you great price on phone, then changes after you get unloaded. Brad knows every trick in book to rip you off. Harry no better. Stay away!!!
These guys are business, not there to chit chat, always a good visit. Not sure what's wrong with complainers but it's a junk yard for petes sake. Highly recommend.
Bad service, unpleasant and unhelpful. I guess they don't want business or don't care about losing business judging by the attitude of the guy behind the counter.
Customer service was terrible. They were very short with me and wouldn't let me enter probably because I'm a Hispanic decent. I don't recommend this place.
While other scrapyards pay you for what you bring them, these guys won't pay you unless it is over 300 pounds. Thus ripping off a lot of people that don't have that much and could go other places and get paid.
Don't use them, they cheat people.
If there were an option for less than 1 star, I would choose it.. The guy is an a--hole from the start and sounds like he has no interest in helping you at all. I'll save you the time and disappointment by advising you to just go look somewhere else.
