Ive known the family that ownes J&J, and North Side Salvage since i was in the single digits... ive been a customer of theirs for 30 years. That fact should be obvious, and telling enough, regarding my opinion of them in general. And after 30 years with them, i can assure you that they are far more helpful than simply recycling autos, and selling salvaged parts. They possess a wealth of knowledge, and i feel strongly that they represent well the ideal of what it means to be a pillar in a community. A brief example: i recall the names of the different baseball teams in my town growing up... all were sponsored by local businesses... i am pretty sure north side salvage was one of the teams. Regardless, in lieu of sponsoring kids baseball, it is a simple matter of fact that the main function of what that business entity does is something that this entire planet needs a whole lot more of, and at larger scales. North Side and J&J have been recycling, reusing, and reducing materials since before i was born, and were doing it long before the necessity of these ideas were in open discussion. So, yeah... theres my opinion. I like to shop local, support local businesses, and i always seek to reduce, reuse, and or recycle all things. For those reasons j&j auto salvage / northside auto salvage are my "go to" for a hell of a lot of different things. 30+years and counting! :)

Pretty good at having what I need in stock and prices are usually decent... kind of shocked having to pay $35 for a single fender when I can get them new online for $26 with free shipping... still a good place either way. Ronnie is a stand up guy!
