Thank you guys, and your team of technicians (that includes you, John ?) for taking care of us, time and time again. In regard to the negative reviews, I'm not sure why this shop has any. If you take a closer look at the reviewer names, it looks like a disgruntled individual purposely posted a bunch of 1-star reviews under various (similar) fictitious names, in an attempt to lower Green Light's overall score. Shame on that person!

While driving to Syracuse from Florida my car stated making a terrible sound on the front end, my husband is a car guy and would have probably known what the problem was but as luck would have it, I came up alone this time. I was staying with friends who when I told them what was happening, immediately said I needed to take my car to GreenLight. My friend called Chris first thing in the morning and after explaining the situation, was told to have me bring it right in. When I got there to drop my car off it was obvious they were very busy, which made the fact that they didn’t hesitate to help someone they knew that for all intents and purposes was a one time customer, even more impressive. They actively worked on my car for what I’m sure was quite a bit longer than they anticipated and when I left, it was as good as new. They could have charged me whatever they wanted really, I was a thousand miles from home so they power was all theirs, imagine my surprise when they told me I was all set and didn’t owe them a thing! Hopefully I was only a one time customer but I do have a lot of friends and family who still live here and I will make sure that every one of them know how wonderful Chris, Scott and their team are!

This shop is incredible! The staff was friendly, professional, and honest about what needed to be done. The pricing was fair and affordable, they took the time to explain everything clearly. It’s relieving to find a shop I can trust. They also appreciate cute dogs - Highly recommended!

I had an emergency with my car and Scott got me in right away for an evaluation. I was in a time crunch, so I dropped it off the afternoon before my appointment and he got me in first thing the next day. They figured out the problem within the estimated amount of time and called me to let me know they had a solution ready. Both gentlemen I spoke to on the phone were courteous and professional: they respected me and talked to me like I would understand what they were saying. As a woman, I really appreciated their attitude. Never underestimate the small shops! These guys did a great job and I would definitely be back if I need work in the future.

This repair shop is THE ONLY place I trust in the greater Syracuse area, and the only place I recommend to friends and family. Story time: I had my car broken into and took it to a big-name Syracuse dealership. Their repair cost was north of $1,000. As it was just the door handle which was broken, I got a second opinion at GreenLight. Their cost to fix was $40........I've taken it back a few times and I'm always impressed with their repair times, friendly service and honest pricing. Try this place once and I'll bet you'll never go anywhere else!

Took my truck in for a tire change and an exhaust issue. The exhaust issue was quickly diagnosed and fixed cheaper than what the Dodge dealership was going to charge me just to diagnose the issue. Was a quick service and truck is sounding good as new. Honest and straight forward businees!

i was passing through from out of town when my car broke down. the local AAA tow truck driver said "i will take you to a place where you wont get ripped off" i had to continue on my trip due to family emergency so i had to leave my car at Greenlight. they kept my car for me, stayed in touch until i returned and gave me excellent and honest advice. they could easily have taken advantage of the situation because i was from another state and a stranger to them who was just passing through, but instead they had my best interests at heart. everyone there i talked to from the owner to service and sales people were the best. TRUST THESE GUYS, you wont regret it. i wish i had mechanics like them near me. i am grateful to them for helping me in a very bad situation.

Over the weekend we were driving near Greenlight when our tire suddenly lost pressure. We ended up leaving our vehicle there on a Saturday and on Monday had called to let them know our tire was flat. They assured us it was not problem and they took care of it all before 3pm on Monday. Quick service, honest estimates, fair pricing.

Learned my lesson. Dropped my truck off for its yearly inspection, not even expecting it to fail. Failed for rust in the frame, RR tire, and wipers. Bottom has been undercoated every year since I had the truck ‘11, I took to get inspected somewhere else and it passed with flying colors. My wipers didn’t even have fluid to test with, and didn’t mention what the RR tire was for. Very disappointed

Stay away from this garage. Read the reviews and just know they are correct. These people just lie and steal your money. They broke my car and then charged me to fix it. And after I paid $3,430 the car stopped running. I was told that it’s my problem not there issue anymore. “We did what you paid me to do”. The philosophy of this garage is they are not paid to make sure your car runs and drives. They make excuses and lies. I am an experienced mechanic I know exactly what I’m talking about. But after I retired I don’t have the strength of time to fix my own cars. So I brought it to green light auto and they broke my car and then tried to lie their way out of it. PLEASE STAY AWAY. ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ARE FAKE FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I’ve never taken my cars anywhere else. The owner has given so much care and attention to any issue when I bring in my vehicle. I can call and have an appointment scheduled right away. Also if there’s anything the mechanic finds in addition to my original concern he gives me a call to explain what the expenses are and asks for the “okay” ahead of time before he starts work so there’s no surprise costs. If something is under a warranty he’ll tell me to go to the dealership instead of just taking my money. As a woman I’ve never felt like the shop was playing on my ignorance to cars. Very nice and honest hardworking owners!

Every experience has been professional, guided by very knowledgable service tech, quotes were most economical, timing convenient to our schedule, quality work, done within time stated every time. Fast service. Friendly, highly knowledgeable and reasonably priced! They managed to get my vehicle repaired so I could make the 12-hour trip back home. All repair requirements were discussed as we progressed and final details were clear and concise. I highly recommend these folks and their experience!

Fantastic! I had new tires and rims put on my 2012 GT500. Scott went out of his way to make everything perfect. He even matched the tire weights to the gold color of my rims by getting them custom colored. I love the attention to detail he has, even when it came to aligning my center caps with the SVT logo to the valve stems on each tire! Ordering tires with him was also a breaze. It was very easy and the timing was seamless! I am totally impressed!! The car looks fantastic with the BC forged rims in royal gold with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. To sum everything up: Impressive!!

I had a flat tire and was referred to Greenlight Auyomotive by a friend. I called at closing time and spoke with Scott. I decided to replace all 4 tires because it was time to. He gave me options of tires to choose from. He had the tires of my choice delivered the next morning and asked me what time worked best for me. I was there a total of 40 min and the job was done. They provide excellent customer service, good work as well as reasonable/fair prices all of which seem to be a rarity these days. I highly recommend them and will definitely continue to call upon them in the future for my and my family’s automotive/mechanic needs. Thanks Scott & Chris ??

Absolutely amazing shop, especially in always being able to get my car in quickly. They are super kind and explain everything in detail. As a new person to syracuse and already visiting them three times, I’d never go anywhere else. Can’t beat the prices either!

They did an amazing job on my car. It needed a lot of TLC. It rides like new now. They are all extremely friendly and helpful. They are honest and stand behind their work. It was a great experience and everyone knows it's not usually pleasant when the car breaks down. Thanks to everyone there.

The answer to the questions listed at the bottom of this review is probably 'Zero' -- UNTIL you visit GreenLight. I'm sure you're probably like me and have tried to avoid going to the mechanic because of bad past experiences. Rest assured that you will not be taken advantage of and will leave knowing that your vehicle has not only been taken care of in the best possible way but so have you. You can't go wrong with these guys. Last Monday was my first visit and I plan on taking my vehicles to them from now on. Here are the questions that I mentioned: How many times have you visited a mechanic and felt like you made the right choice? How many times have you called a mechanic and been greeted with a nice and courteous greeting? How many times have you been introduced to the owners, and staff when you visit a mechanic for the first time? How many times have you gone into a mechanic and sat in their waiting room and had a real conversation with the folks that work there?

Recently had an excellent experience at GreenLight!! Out of nowhere my car started leaking water inside. Without an appointment I walked in and explained what was happening. Without hesitation they came out and looked at my car. They were able quickly figure out the problem, fix it and I was on my way!!

Scott was kind, helpful, and amazing at explaining everything to me. So relieved I have a place this close to home that I can trust with my car. They even secured my loose heat shield for me. They really take the time to make sure you’re educated on everything your car needs and explain the costs to you. Most ideal auto shop experience. I will continue to come here.

The staff at Greenlight have been phenomenal to me and have always treated me right. They go above and beyond to make sure my car is working perfectly before returning it to me. They recently had to put new tires, brakes on my vehicle and made sure my alignment was done perfectly knowing how much I use my car. Couldn’t say enough great things about the team at Greenlight. I highly recommend them and will always be a loyal customer to them.

The staff at Green light always make sure the customer is aware of what is going on with the car. I went in for fogged headlights and instead of offering to replace them then chose to trouble shoot and sand instead. It worked! And saved me a bunch of money. I recommend them for your service needs, and they are conveniently located off the highway.

Excellent customer service; It's a great feeling when you can support a local business and trust that the work being done on your vehicle will be done right and for a fair price. The service is above and beyond what I had expected - and it was completed far more quickly that I had hoped for- and this was during an 'emergency' situation. My sister also had great luck here.
