Matt worked with me on a problem with ordering tires and it was a doozy!!! He never got upset and even stored tires and rims at the shop for me and helped me return the ones that were sent in error.

Bob and his team are the best in town. Fair prices and top quality work done right the first time. My family has been going here for years for cars, boats and trucks. It is so hard to find a mechanic that is fair and honest who takes the time to explain issues and what needs to be done. Not at Lakeview. They’re helpful and kind you won’t ever feel cheated or that you overpaid. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Just had my brakes done and they are perfect! TY Bob and Scott ?
Had to come in because of a flat tire while on vacation. Just drove up and asked for them to check and they took care of everything within minutes. Were incredibly nice and friendly. Even gave us some great reccomendations to go visit in the area! Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again!!

Small family owned auto and marine repair facility, quality service at a fair price. Probably a good idea to call ahead for an appointment because sometimes they're pretty busy trying to fit everyone in their schedule, which is probably a good thing, if people aren't happy they wouldn't keep coming back.
My 85 y/o mother is moving a bit south come November. She got her car’s ‘fall check-up’ today and commented “I’m really gonna miss these guys!” So nice to know that honest car repair service still exists! Skaneateles residents should consider themselves blessed to have proprietors like this in town!
It is always a nerve wracking experience when searching for a trusted and friendly professional. Bob and Lakeview Auto are truly a wonderful find. I never look forward to car repair but I now feel so much better knowing when I do need service that Lakeview Auto and Bob's crew will always be honest, fair and attentive!
Bob Dewitt continued to help us even when he knew we would not be a customer - after we learned the expensive part was still under warranty. Now he has a customer whenever we go to Skaneateles.
Bob DeWitt owns this auto and marine repair and service shop and his work is excellent. The only better than getting your vehicle or boat worked on by one of his team is Bob's great personality!
Bob DeWitt and his team are, hands down, the greatest mechanics to work with in this area. They are thorough, upfront, efficient, honest and so professional. Not to mention some of the friendliest guys I have ever met in a business context. I'm a young lady who often feels intimidated bringing her car to be serviced - but my family and I have been doing business with Lakeview for years and have never had a negative experience. If you're in need of a mechanic especially in the Skaneateles area, I would consider no one else!
