I was in a situation. 2 hours from home or more. walked in with a random problem and the "office lady" helped me figure it out. If they take the time to help people like me, I would trust them with any auto problems. this business is for the people. thank you again for your time!
I have been getting my car fixed here since before Johnny upgraded this garage. My Chevy City Express, on a fleet account was in repair more than it was on the road but it was diagnosed and repaired perfectly every time. You can trust the repair, and the fact that the price is fair. Do not hesitate to call.
Moved to the area a few years ago and thought we'd try a new mechanic.(the convenience was especially nice) im glad we did. Fast, reliable, reasonable rates and polite. Highly recommend.
Went in to get tires changed for winter and less than 20 miles after leaving shop my moms car motor blows. Highly do not recommend these scam artists. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR PROPERTY! Not to mention they let a 14-15 year old test drive the car and was gone 15mins. Doesn't take that long to check tires after replacement. If you wanna save money and keep your property without being screwed over avoid this place period.
I had taken my truck to Mavis Tire for a NY inspection. They failed me due to rust on the rotor hoping to take advantage and get a $900 brake job out of it. I looked up the NY inspection law and there is no reason to fail a rotor unless it is cracked or broken. JK confirmed and passed me and I also got an oil change. This will be my new repair shop and have already told three people about my story.
I recieved fantastic service there today. The staff was incredible helpful and considerate. I would reccomend anyone in Sylvan Beach and the surrounding area to go there foe the majority of your auto service needs.
Got me in the following day. Diagnosed the problem and repaired my car before my road trip. So grateful to them. Sway link was bad and we were making an out of state trip. Saved us from breaking down on the road or having an accident.

Everyone screws up now and again. The question is.....what do they do about it? A number of months ago, Stacy and her team replaced the transmission oil pan on my Mazda 3. The other day, the transmission started mis-behaving. Upon inspection, the oil level was seriously low. It was clearly leaking. But the car was now with my son in Brooklyn and could not be driven back for servicing. The local mechanic there reported that the oil pan gasket had failed. Without hesitation, Stacy offered to pay that garage to make the needed repair. Why would she do that? It is called "service". Thanks Stacy.
Can't say enough about this place.While camping at Verona Beach State Park, decided to venture out to Snug Harbor Marina in our 1994 Chevy RV. On the way back to camp the gauges and speedometer went crazy. Needed an alternator!. Happened to remember passing this shop and just made it back there. Stacy was very helpful! Found an alternator, ordered it, dropped us off at our campsite and fit this job in right away! Thanks to the mechanic too! All done in 2 hours and we had our camper and transportation back!! My family and I, were at Verona Beach State Park, with a dead battery, they graciously came down, and gave us a jump start. within 5 minutes of calling them. The young lady. came to help us out. Especially we were 2hrs. from home. Thank You!
Needed tires for our boat trailer ASAP. They were very helpful and were able to get us tires same day and get them mounted and on the trailer for us. Very nice to deal with! Definitely recommend!

These folks have been great to work with! I've visited a couple times for various things on my older car - brake work, sway bar, tire change, etc. They have always been friendly, attentive, and thorough. On one visit they even dropped what they were doing to help an elderly person who was having emergent car troubles. They took time to listen, call family members, and make sure things were taken care of and everyone was safe and sound. What a refreshing garage to visit - it makes me feel like I'm back at my hometown garage. I will definitely be returning. Thanks!
I've got to give 5 stars to this team. They spent an extraordinary amount of effort diagnosing a tricky problem and they fixed it for a very reasonable price. They surely did not get paid for all the time they put into this. This is the second or third time I've been there. They always provide good, solid work, honest discussion about the issues, and very reasonable pricing.

Not happy that they flat bedded my very kind friend today instead of helping him out of a snow bank. It was less than a mile away. Not to mention taking the vehicle back to their shop and charging $285. Ridiculous. They should be ashamed. I would understand charging $80 - $100 even, what AAA would charge since that's who he called, but not do what they did.
This business is runner absolutely like trash, they are very rude and will not work with you. I went off the side of the road last week, I was on the phone with my tow company to take my car out of the ditch that Next morning. After getting off of the phone, I received a phone call from the police stating that jk automotive already was starting the tow. I arrived and they charged me 326.25 just to take it out of the ditch. I didn’t have the money right then so I had to wait. They meanwhile this was a Friday, and they are closed all weekend. I called Friday night wanting to get my car, and again Saturday morning, with no answer or reply. So arriving Monday morning to pick it up, they are now charging me 600$ to pick my car up that was just needed to be taken out of a ditch. Very very unpleased and annoyed with them.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGR!!!!! THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS...I purchased my truck from them and they had it for 2 and a half weeks doing the exhaust intake manafolds on it...then i drove it for 4 days and had to take it back because it died on me as i was going down the road...then a week later i had to take it back in because the wheels were hesitating and the serpintine belt blew off it and the ac compressor was junk....all of this shouldve been covered under my warranty but surprise surprise there were excuses as to why the najority of it wasnt covered...they told me that "i mustve had an accident because the axle shaft was bent...NO ACCIDENTS OCCURED DURING MY DRIVING THE VEHICLE...BUT NEEDLESS TO SAY I PURCHASED MY OWN PARTS AND THEY PUT THEM ON A MONTH LATER I PICK UP MY TRUCK AND GUESS WHAT...THE ISSUES ARE STILL THERE....ALONG WITH EXTREAMLY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THREATENING WHEN I BACKED THEM INTO A CORNER ON HOW THEY WERE DRIVING MY TRUCK FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL USE!!!!!! 600 out of pocket between parts and labor and it is sitting at yet another garage to have the same problem fixed!!!!!!! DONT BUY FROM THESE CON ARTISTES YOU WILL BE OUT OF POCKET A TON OF MONEY AND THE SAME PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!!!
A state trooper called for a tow after doing a roadside stop in the Madison county DMV parking lot. My license was suspended and he couldn’t let me drive home. He called JK Automotive in Sylvan Beach to come tow my car. I was okay with this because it had seemed to be the closest tow company therefore giving me the best rate. He towed the car from the Madison county DMV to his shop. Round trip this is a 25 minutes drive, 15 minutes added to that due to the wait and having to put my car on the wench. A 17 mile round trip route. If I were to pay $10 a mile along with $100 an hour, The total charge could be $270, which is a complete rip off and scam, correct? I picked up the car 35 minutes after it was towed and This cost me $311 and the Owners excuse was that they must charge an additional amount for police calls. I’ve had my car towed to quality hill on 2 separate occasions by police and both times I was charged less than $200 for further distances and this even includes one night of storage on one occasion. (I know, not something to brag about.). QUALITY HILL will charge you 1/3 of the price and I’m sure many other towing companies would to. Please, never waste your money coming here. There are so many established and professional mechanics and tow companies around the area who aren’t nearly as concerned about money. So save yourself the time and never bring your business here. I’m sure if they were good mechanics they wouldn’t be charging that much for a tow because they would be making money else where
