I bought a cooling fan for my Mercedes here and it didn’t work. I called back the very next day and the guy who answered even remembered me and when I went there to return it they said no because I didn’t have my receipt . They knew I bought it there and they still said no. What a sad business that has no customer value to do the right thing and exchange it for something else. No worries because they didn’t know I’m a mechanic and I do work all day everyday. There loss because I’ll never go there again. Stay away from here horrible service

I had a great experience with East Coast Auto Salvage. I bought a caliper here for my 2010 Hyundai Sonata for just $20, as I needed it temporarily while waiting for the new OEM part to arrive. Their online inventory system was super easy to navigate, and I didn’t have to waste time searching through multiple junkyards to find the correct part. I found it almost immediately on their website.
I ended up using the caliper for longer than expected—about 3 months and 3,000 miles—thanks to some procrastination on my part. To my surprise, it worked perfectly and could have likely lasted even longer. I’m really impressed with the quality and convenience of the service, and I will definitely keep East Coast Auto Salvage in mind for future parts. Highly recommended!
Parts are always defective, Warranty will be replaced with another defective part. Paul the owner is very rude and disgusting. Filed complaint with DMV and State Of New York regarding behavior and business conduct and Salvage Yard Operations. Thank You

If you are looking for over priced parts, extremely rude staff and racist white people, look no further. I went in to ask about a part for my van and the owner didn’t even look at me when he spoke . Referred to me as “some lady” as if I wasn’t standing right in front of him. The white lady that was there was coughing and sneezing the entire time with no mask and no regards for the customers in her presence. The staff who were also people of color looked at me as if they wanted to say something but I guess they didn’t being that it could jeopardize their jobs. DO NOT SHOP HERE, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. EXTREMELY RUDE!!
Everyone in there has an attitude and the Indian guy who helped me was all over the place and seemed like he was on drugs or something. Take your business elsewhere
I bought a shock/strut assembly for my car, being that I don't know too much about automobil mechanics, I asked if it was a good part, they said yes, 2 weeks later strut was blown...with the cost for repair I exceed their 30day guarantee....thanks for nothing guys.
Called the other day to acquire about some vehicles that I can restore the gentleman lied about not being able to sell that kind of stuff even though I'm pretty sure if you wanted to buy the whole body of a car you could plus he had the nerve to hang up on me terrible service would not recommend it to anybody looking to do the same thing with restoring cars take your business elsewhere it's highly recommended
First they always “”f “word you when you return the parts.pretending that the costumer fault not giving enough information.They have no respect, once they got the money you’re done.This is not a safe place to spend your money.I gave one star because I can’t go further, If I have choice I gave less than that
Came here for a specific part for my car, easy fast and honest employees. I paid and I got what i asked for. I even got a referral connection to go to a mechanic, which made life much easier for me to fix my car!!!!
Great place to buy quality used auto parts. They also have a website to check their inventory. Great customer service. Reasonable prices. I definitely will return.
Garbage customer service. Guy is rude on the phone, can’t tell me the color code for the car. Then he didn’t want to tell me his name because he knows his service is unacceptable.
Every time I call them before going down there to verify that they have a item from my vehicle. It's always a different story when I get there in person they say they have the part but it's either for the opposite side or different car. They always waste my time traveling there don't speak to Paul.
Horrible service & the most excuses that I ever heard of why the part delivery was not made, It's been ninth days & no Part. I'll make sure to pass it on in my industry. From their google reviews they received, It seems to be a habitual practice. lies & excuses.
Horrible service. I called them to junk a car that is sitting in front of my driveway that I rented from my landlord. Called on Thursday and they said they would come and get it. Well, Thursday came around and nobody came even though I called 5 times and they kept reassuring me.
Called back on Friday and they said someone will be out there 1st thing Saturday morning at 10 am.10 am came and went and nobody showed up. Called and they said Monday.
Monday morning, called at 9 am, said they will be there before 10:30 and that I was their "FIRST pick up of the day." Guess what??? Yep, nobody showed up. HOW THE HELL DO YOU STAY IN BUSINESS? Are all their tow drivers dead or something? Here it is, at 4:40 pm and I just called and they said tomorrow morning. Screw that.
So if you want to take a day off work and gamble, be my guest. Yes, they give the highest quote but it is not worth the frustration.
Customer service is crap. Spoke to salesman and he was a tool. Told him I was driving 5 hours and would be down next day for a part. Offered to pay over the phone and told they wouldn't take payment over phone, only in person. I called 3 times to tell him I would be down next day, have part ready, please accept payment. You probably wouldn't guess it but I show up the next day and the part is still on the car and they can't get it right away... 3 TIMES I CALLED! DBag first started off by saying he never spoke to me but then I gave times, name, and part and his tone changed. Now I'm putting "words in his mouth" about the part being ready. Full of BS. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! PARTS ARE CRAP AND THEY'RE HUGE DBAGS!
