Probably one of the best Apple locations in the city. Fast and convenient and all things Apple. Worth it if you’re looking for the Apple experience without the fanfare and tourists.

Remember when visiting the Apple store was enjoyable? The service here is horrendous. No one cares, and so many employees are just standing around. I’ve been going to this store for over a decade, and it seems to be getting worse every year.

I went to the Chelsea Apple Store in NYC on the day Apple started selling the Series 11 Watch. I bought an iPhone 17 and a watch. On the 22nd, I returned to the same store to buy more items and saw a golden Series 11 Watch that I liked. I told the attendant and showed her the watch I had already bought, and she said that if I had the receipt and the box, she could exchange it for the same price. I walked 20 minutes back to the apartment to get those things, and then another 20-minute walk back to the store. I told the receptionist what had happened, and he asked me to wait by the watch table. Thirty minutes later, an attendant began helping someone who had arrived after me. So I went back to the receptionist and complained, explaining that I was in a hurry because I had a flight to catch at JFK. He told me again to wait by the table. After 45 minutes in the store, an attendant finally came. I explained everything to him, and he told me that exchanging the watch would cost $300. I asked to speak with the manager and explained everything that had happened. She apologized but said there was nothing she could do. I emphasized that the wrong information came from their own staff, and that I had gone through a lot of trouble walking back and forth, waiting a long time, and watching people who arrived after me being served before me — all while needing to catch a flight. Still, she repeated that she couldn’t do anything. I left the store and had to take a $125 Uber because it was too late to take the AirTrain. Apple did nothing to correct the wrong information their staff gave me or to make up for all the trouble I went through.

Just went to see the apple 17 but will be available on Friday 19th, 2025. Staffs are very conscious for customers service. I like the way they treat.

Store manager Dara provided excellent customer service today on my visit to the Apple Store. He attentively listened to my concerns regarding issues with my phone camera, made some great recommendations and was pleasant to talk to. I really appreciated his proactive approach to finding a practical solution to the issue.

I had a fantastic experience at the Apple Store thanks to Jim! He helped me trade in two of my older devices and guided me through the entire process of purchasing a new laptop—all in one visit. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional throughout. What stood out most was how smoothly everything went. Jim explained the trade-in values clearly, helped me back up my data, and made sure the transition to the new device was seamless. It’s clear that Jim really knows his stuff and genuinely cares about making sure customers feel confident and taken care of. I never felt rushed or pressured, which I really appreciated.

Bunch of bozos working at the Genius Bar. Went in to replace an iWatch battery. Tech told me the battery would either be replaced or if it couldn’t be then they would replace the watch. I asked if they even had parts for this since it’s a series 4. He assured me they did. Got an email from Apple a week later that the watch was ready. I am excited. I anticipate having a watch with a battery that can last more than 8hrs. Show up to the store and a new tech tells that they couldn’t do any repairs since they don’t make the parts anymore. How do you do you not know your own inventory? Complete waste of time.

Came in to get the battery refurbished for my iPhone 14 Max as it had completely deteriorated. The genius refused to replace the battery because of a very small corner crack on my screen, insisting that the whole screen would shatter if they replaced my battery and the phone wouldn’t be usable. He basically was trying to upsell my $89 battery replacement to include a screen replacement of additional $400, which he then tried to upsell me a completely new iPhone. When I told him I’m not buying a new phone one month out from the new iPhone release; he suggested I use a flip phone until the new iPhone comes out. I took my phone to a YouBreakIFix shop, they swapped out the battery even with the tiny crack. Phone is as good as new, no issues with it at all. Apple, you suck.

Fast and friendly service. I popped in here on a Friday afternoon, was greeted and sent directly to the service station so I could order/purchase a replacement cord. Carlos R. helped check me out and I think that was the fastest shopping experience I’ve ever had (which was perfect since I need to run home and charge my phone).

One love and respect to the Apple West 14th Street team! Words cannot express how elated I am. I was having many issues with my recent purchase of an iPhone 16 plus for approximately a month and half. It wasn’t keeping charge long enough, overheating, glitch etc. I was being passed around by online customer support , senior advisors, as well as, the store of purchase at the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst, after being sent a refurbished phone and being told it was neither new nor old. I returned the phone since I didn’t think it just to replace a new phone with an old. Everyone, I spoke to seemed unempathic about the situation and continued to ignore my concerns. I decided to reach out to the headquarters in Cali but was met with a dead-end. I did some research and found an headquarters in NYC but upon my arrival I was told that the location doesn’t handle complaints nor escalations. I was referred to the Apple West 14th Street location. I was very skeptic about going there out of fear of the representatives being insolent or abrupt. However, I was pleasantly greeted by an individual who took me to the Genius Bar, where I met with others. They were very attentive, knowledgeable and pleasant which was very refreshing to say the least. Honestly, I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with. It would be very nice if others could emulate the qualities of this particular store because they’re immaculate! I started to feel like I was a part of the Apple family and not an outcast despite being at my wits end. I was at a point where I not longer wanted to be associated with the company but because of the exceptional customer support and humanity that these individuals displayed, my faith in Apple has been restored. They were able to change my perspective about the company and employees alike by just displaying simple humanity.Thanks so much to Byron, Joey, Michael, Alberto and Andrea who taught me so much took me under her wings and showed and taught me how to use the wonderful features on my phone in the most practical and exciting manner! Again, thanks Apple West 14th Street team, you’re truly the epitome of excellent customer service!

Randomly stumbled into this Apple Store while visiting NYC, and I’m so glad I did. I was helped by Frances, who was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to answer my questions, walk me through my options, and make sure I felt confident about my purchase. Even though the store was busy, Frances gave me their full attention and made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Excellent customer service — truly appreciated!

Worst store I ever been too. I really needed help, but when I asked the store manager for help. She told me to leave the store and never come back. First, I went to the third floor, a salesman wanted to help me. But I felt he was a little unprofessional. So I told him I didn’t want his help. I went to the second floor for help, the salesman on the third floor followed me to the second floor and interrupted my conversation with the salesman on the second floor. So I went to the first floor and was speaking to the manager. The salesman from the third floor followed me again and interrupted my conversations with the manager. Then he started speaking to me, I told him, do you speak English. What part of I don’t want to talk to you, that you don’t understand. And why are you following me. As I walked over to the manager to talk to her.she told me to leave the store and never came back. I was wondering, why, because I didn’t want any interaction with the salesman. I left the store very nicely. But I’ll never go back to that apple store ever again .

It's an Apple store the same everywhere. This one's big, well stuffed people are friendly and helpful. They have everything you need. I was able to get what I wanted straight away. I think I was getting a couple of air tags. Was great. Was in and out within 5 minutes.

Horrible experience. Was overcharged for a Genius Bar fee due to the associate rushing and having multiple orders and then given a refund but had to pay once again even though she was RUSHING and it was her mistake didn’t have an answer to how long refund would take made us pay basically almost double .manager didn’t even care to come apologize or help out. Horrible please teach your employees to not rush they are paid by the HOUR no need to rush.

Very positive Genius Bar experience when my iPhone needed to be repaired. Intake was quick and my phone was fully fixed within an hour. It’s a large store and can get busy, but having an appointment helped. I made it in the Apple Store App.

I can’t put into words how incredible Ignacio was to me the other day. I was having trouble with my phone and eSIM after relocating, and he went above and beyond to help. Ignacio took the time to transfer everything over to my new device, walked me through each step with patience, and did it all with genuine kindness. He truly embodies what great customer service should be. If every store around the world had someone like Ignacio, the world would be a better place. The people working in this store are barely ever pleasant to interact with and they give misinformation. I had an issue with accessing my apple account and between my in person visit and my numerous phone calls to support, I received 5 different answers from 5 different people, and only the last was accurate from a senior advisor, who only could say “I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do you have to wait 6 days to reaccess the account”. Disgusting and horrible service, employees should all be on the same page. If I could eliminate apple products from my life I would, I’m tired of the brand but sadly they have a lot of power in society and I won’t be able to evade them. At least my data is secure?

I walked into the Apple store confident enough to see the price that it cost to fix my laptop. Assuming I was going to just have to pay for a battery issue and got an update that it was the logic board that needs to be replaced. Going to take even longer for me to post #fashionweek images. Wish I would have got paid to cover fashion week.

Really nice open lofty space. Multileveled. Most of the time consumers are seen at The Genius Bar on the second floor. Great views overlooking the smallish park next to the building, with a huge Starbucks right next door! Fantastic!

Fantastic apple store. The third floor is completely dedicated to the Genius Bar, and the first two floors are full of demos that have plenty of devices so you never have to wait. I do hope they follow in the footsteps do SF and 5th Avenue stores and integrate more greenery, but for the current version of apple stores in Nov 2019 this is as solid as they come. All the staff is friendly, and love the building their in and the integration of their classic glass helix staircase. Solid apple store!

We didn’t need anything here today but we happened to walk by this location and had to stop in to see it. There’s a really cool glass staircase we had to walk up just for the fun of it. Brace yourself when you get to the 3rd floor was quite HOT so we left right away.

This Apple store is located at one of the most central touristic destinations, the heart of urban gentrification and rehabilitation, and the locus of creativity-driven industries. Given the fact that it's visited by a large number of tourists and passerbys, this store is surprisingly well-organized and kept superbly clean. The acme of your experience at this store would likely to come from the service they boast here--it's efficient, intimate, informative, and possibly everything you expect it to be.
