I went to the store on 2/21/26. I went there for an oil change and a car inspection. While they were inspecting my car the manger told me I needed new tires. He let me see the tires and they did have little tread left. He walked through all the option.I asked questions and he answered all of them throughly. He was very kind. He applied all the coupons he could. In total I got an oil change, car inspection, wheel alignment, and 4 new tires. I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. My total came out to around $1,100. Overall I had a great experience. I waited around 2 hours. I didn’t feel pressured.

Its nice to visit a major corporation like Mavis and feel and be treated like you walked into a local auto shop. Too often nowadays with big business the customer is seen as $$ only and that is the exact opposite of what I encountered at Mavis on Willis Ave in Williston Park. The employees were curtious and informative and took care of my vehicle promptly. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this location to anyone who needs any of the service they provide.

I was having a problem with one of my tires that kept losing air, and I work right by this Mavis location. I spoke with Ken the manager, who I found to be extremely professional. I was in and out of there in no time, after having a nail removed from my tire. I highly recommends this location. Thank you Ken for being so awesome!

From the moment I walked in on Sunday, I was greeted by Ken—who I believe is the manager—and immediately felt like I was in great hands. His professionalism, courtesy, and clear communication were above and beyond. Even though Sunday was fully booked (which says a lot about how trusted and busy they are), Ken still took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done for my brakes. He walked me through the entire early drop-off process for Monday morning—showing me where the key envelopes were, how to fill one out, and where the secure key drop box in the garage was. Dropping the car off before they opened was effortless. On Monday, Ken called me around 11 AM to let me know my car was ready—exactly as quoted the day before, with no surprises. I told him I’d be there after work around 5 PM, and he said no problem at all. When I arrived, the car was exactly where he said it would be, perfectly repaired, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Ken and his entire team were phenomenal. In an industry where great customer service can be hard to find, this Mavis location truly stands out. Their honesty, professionalism, and follow-through are unmatched. Thank you, Ken. Took a chance to come here because it had 5 stars. I had to get my tires balanced. Ramon graciously helped me and explained what needed to get done. The workers were very nice. Im very happy with the service.

Had to come in last minute because of a nail in my tire. Ken and the team took care of me quickly. It turned out the nail didn’t puncture the tire, so there was nothing to fix. They were completely transparent with me, and I didn’t have to pay anything at all.

Mavis Tires has the BEST customer service! I was. Walk in and they took me in for an inspection right away. I explained to them that I was in a hurry, because I had to pick up my son from school. I was in and out in 25 minutes with a wonderful inspection job! Thank you guys at Mavis Tires. I will Be coming back. Very friendly as well

5 Star service @ Mavis in East Williston. Arrived without an appointment to discuss two newer tires that were losing air (low pressure light was coming on weekly). Thought I might need to come back on a scheduled date but no; Ken was awesome…took the key and in much less time than he estimated, tires were resealed and I was in my way. Price was very fair & the service was exceptional. TY…very much appreciated. PS…do not reach over the counter to use the stapler (attach receipt to the work order)…if you would like that service, just ask Ken. Respectfully submitted, RWV

I went in for my Tesla inspection and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and got me in quickly. One of the guys even finished his break early to help me out — really appreciated that. The whole thing only cost $10. Super nice and professional team!

I’ve utilized the services at Mavis Discount Tires ,in Williston Park, NY, for a few years. I came in today for a diagnosis and was treated so nicely by the entire staff. Ken, and his team, are the consummate professionals and always go above and beyond in terms of customer service. I highly recommend them.

I bought Kumho tires from here. They are failing due to a manufacturing defect and the tread is disconnecting/ peeling from the tire. Kumho says to process the warranty at the "Kumho dealer". Mavis refuses to process the claim. I'm currently waiting on a response from Kumho after several days. After charging me $10 to test the TPMS batteries when it was installed I didn't want to bother leaving a review but this is the latest. Edit Tuesday Sept 30: after calling Mavis and going through the process over several days I was called with an "offer" where after my claim it would cost $318 to replace the tires. That's $60 less than the original $380 charge to mount the tires and service the tpms. It took me 10 days, 3 trips to 2 Mavis locations, and several arguments to get to this point. Contrary to what everyone that goes to this place is being told about their tire problems, this was not caused by worn shocks.
