Been here twice this month. Website says something is in stock I asked where the item was and the guy refused to walk around the counter. Asked politely hey sorry I’m not seeing it and he just said well then we don’t have it obviously. I get it sometimes the website is wrong but Jesus guy was so rude so I just left. Previous time I came in also asked for help finding something honestly just wanted a general direction of where it was same thing guy huffed like this wasn’t apart of there job. Maybe I’m wrong maybe they aren’t allowed to come out and help just so off putting. Could have at least told me what store had it in stock.

There were no triple square bits in the specialty tools aisle of the store, so I asked Billy at the front desk if there were any triple square bits. Billy walked away to a display behind the counter then he says, “is a screwdriver ok?” Although I asked for a bit, I quickly replied “sure.” Then as I got closer, I saw that he had what looked like a Torx screwdriver, I said, “no I actually need a bit.” Billy spun around to face me and then held up his fist and shook his fist in my face. Then he snapped, “we don’t have a bit.” I told Billy do not ever put your fist in my face again, you must treat me with respect, Billy tried to downplay it so I asked him how he would like it if a store manager put his fist up to his wife’s face and shook his fist in her face.

Walked in, both cashiers looked me up and down without saying a single word to me. They had me waiting for 10 minutes while they carried on their conversation. They are rude and unprofessional.

Bad reputation for the corporation I explain what happen in the email to corporation but they says “ last decision made by stuff “ it’s ok maybe I loose couple hundred bucks but I hope some people read this comment and decide not shop from there

Ordered online #5202 LED Foglights......was told @ Grand Ave store......once I open box it's "not returnable"!!?? What if part is defective??? I'm out $60!!!??? Calling Headquarters to put complaint.

Terrible experience at this shop, simply wanted to get my brother’s engine code scanned, waited for over an hour for something so simple. Mind you in an empty store, it felt as if the employees did not want to provide the service requested. A friend told me this place does it and it’s local. Poor customer service, and seemingly miserable people work here. Disappointing experience I’ve been here a few times and the service has never been this bad and quite frankly upsetting. Not sure if the store is under new management or what but I have never experienced anything before. There was Indian guy who originally said the engine code scan would take 5 minutes for him to get to me after an hour with zero acknowledgement I saw him talk on the phone with friends and family and walk in and out the store without further assisting me, the old lady was very abrasive and rude and immediately directed me to auto zone although I explained how I’ve been waiting over an hour. Once she was going to perform the engine code scan, she did not even know how to perform the engine code scan and refused to insert the device in the vehicle, and while walking out the door she yell "out” which I felt was very disrespectful and unnecessary considering I was waiting patiently for over hour allowing the employees to loaf around. There was also an older gentleman who saw us waiting for an extensive amount of time and failed to even try to offer assistance. 3 individuals who failed to assist me mind you the store was empty for the vast majority of the time. Overall just frustrating experience at the shop and I hope it gets better going forward for future clients.

Ok so…. My dad was the one person who thought me what I know so far about cars. But I don’t know that much. I came in the week prior and Josh was a great help helping me figure out what I needed for my car AND when I came back today he was there and helped me out with the things that I needed. I’ve been in the store before and he helped me with the CORRECT windshield wipers for my car…. So if you come in and he is in the store, you’re in great hands trust me !!!

Shout out to Ravin and Billy, who got me on the road safely and quickly through their expertise and kindness. Today, I pulled up to Advance Auto Parts on my skateboard to get a battery for my vehicle. Upon my arrival, Billy greeted me warmly, asked me what type of vehicle I had, and went through the different battery options they had in stock. When he asked me which of the three I preferred, I jokingly remarked, "I'll take the least expensive, lightest battery you have that fits into this backpack." Realizing that I intended to skate the battery back home (a little over a mile), Ravin told me that Billy could give me a ride back to my house! I was relieved not to lug the battery all the way home, and my boss was relieved that I wasn't too late to work. These guys treated me like a friend and neighbor. I could not be more grateful for the exceptional customer service I received here.

I just left Advance auto parts and was helped by Rohan who was very knowledgeable and polite. I highly suggest you ask for him when you go he gives great customer service and very professional.

Corry Jonas is phenomenal. He is the assistant General Manager and was taking care of 20 customers by himself. He only had 2 trainees in the store while trying to do a defective exchange for me. The part was originally purchased by a commercial auto shop in Queens that did an alternator job for me. Despite the fact that the districts were different and he was having computer problems he called the original store in Jackson Heights, verified the purchase, and helped me with the exchange. I would have to take public transportation to Queens which would have cost me 4 hours of transportation and another day of work effectively costing a financial crisis to provide for my family. Words cannot express my gratitude. Thank you Advance Auto Parts. Auto Zone would have never given me that service.

I went to advance auto for the free battery test & installation if needed today. I told the rep Rohan that I would like to get that service, but instead he charged me for the battery then proceeded to install it. He obviously sold me the most expensive one for the car the Dir Hard Gold Battery (group size 35, 640 CCA). He never checked my old battery. After installing it the car would not start, so he used a battery pack to boost the new battery which then started! I then turned the car off & all the nights were flickering like the battery was dead. There was another person there telling Rohan that it might be my alternator & that I needed to get that fixed. Being a girl who didn't know better, I drove out the lot & was 30 seconds down the street when the car completely shut off & I had to steer it to the side. It wouldn't start at all not even the hazard lights. I had a battery boost pack that I plugged in & was able to get some power. I then went back to the store to demanded my money back or a new battery as this seemed to be the issue. I called my brother who had them perform the load check which they should've done first & replace that new battery with another one. Once Rohan did that my car started right away. I'll let you know tomorrow or later this week if it lasts as the warranty states 3 years. Rohan was nice but I shouldn’t have to demand a new battery if that one was dead from sitting on the shelf. Never going back to Advance Auto Parts! Horrible experience.

I was purchasing a battery for my car that comes with a 3 year warranty. When I realized after looking at the receipt and examining the sticker on the battery, it said that the warranty began in 2020; it is 2021. When I wanted to fix the mistake, The employee verbally abused me and I could see that the situation might become physical. The employee's name was David G, he screamed at me and told me to "shut up." The situation escalated so much that David needed to be removed from the front of the store.The problem got this far when I had noticed a mistake he made, which was not putting my name in the system. Also, the GM Karen Schneider was not very helpful and had an attitude with me. I remained respectful until I felt verbally threatened by David G., Karen did not help much, she asked me if I "wanted to fix the situation or leave" when clearly, after spending almost $200 all I wanted to do was resolve the situation.

Billy was very moody, i got my things happen to know aloot about my bmw, but the one brand peak makes various, by mistake took the asian but wsopped it after he charged, listen billy just scan the first one remove the first one is simple, the customer doesnt need the attitude when they trying to not even be a bother to the workers that aren't eager to help

Most of The workers in there are not very motivated to help customers and not knowledgeableabout cars at all. I been there few times and once it was to buy a battery for my car and the guy was like he does not know the kinda battery my car uses and that my 09 fx 35 have two kinda battery and he asked if i have a smart key and i said well its uses a key fob to start help dtart it so i guess thats a smart key. and he was like well he is not sure if it is. So i was like well how would it not be and he was like i dont know if it is or not. So i got fed up and said fine i will try somewhere else which i did and got my battery the same day from autozone.

Did not have a good experience at this advance auto parts. My car battery would not start 4 times this week and. When I told the worker Manuel . He said he could not come outside to check my battery because it was dark outside. It was a waste of time and I came all the way from Queens. This is not good customer service.

Good luck going there with your kid staffs are unprofessional uses nothing but profanity in front of customers. You place an order paid just to find out it was never placed. I never go on any site to make complaints but that store definitely earned my time in doing so.

I will never order online and pick up in store from this store location anymore. They always wait till you get there to pull the order. Why order online and pick up in store and after the order is ready email, you still stand in line and then wait for someone to actually pull the items. At the store in baldwin ny

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. They always offer to help me carry my heavy items to the car. Very easy and accessible location. If they don't have what you need. They can order it or find a location that has it for you.
