  Came here on a Sunday to throw away large furniture. For North Hempstead residents. $5 for 100 lbs, then $1 each additional 20lbs.

  this is a great place, efficient friendly but there is one big problem. sometimes they are closed and the web site says they open, and a line of outraged residents are lining up at the site, finally get frustrated and drive away!! terrible; after loading their cars, schlepping there and they're closed!!

  I tried to drop off e-waste at the beginning of May to find a sign that it was closed till May 10th, even though it said it was open on Google Maps. But now I can confirm that it is open again as of today, May 31st. Fast and curtious staff. Tnx!
