I called the department of highways on a Wednesday about tree trimming and the next day someone showed up to look at the job and scheduled the job for the next day, Friday. I was impressed by the fast response!
The two trees needed to be trimmed in the front of my house as branches were laying on the power line from the house to the electric pole across the street. it was scheduled for 9am on Friday, the department was considerate enough to call that morning to say they were running late and would be on site around 11am. The showed up at 11 and proceeded to trim the branches and asked my opionon on how much I would want trimmed, wow, again what consideration.
They were a great crew of guys who worked fast and efficiently and did a great job of cleaning up after the job. I am extremely pleased and impressed with the response from the town of Oyster Bay, department of highways and the great job this crew did. I leave in Glen Head on Post street, I hope the department acknowledges the courteous and professional job done by all in the department.
