Dropped off cleaning supplies, paint, propane tanks, gas can, etc. A bit of a line up, but reasonable.

Went to S.T.O.P. today - which is a great program in TOB. Long lines. It seems to me that there were more workers/ employees standing around, doing nothing, and just a few doing the actual work, (e.g. sorting, etc.). Is everyone getting paid overtime?

Town of Oyster Bay residents can drop off latex paint & e-waste, up until 2:30PM.

They have a separate area for waste engine oil disposal. However, they have no facilities to dispose of waste gasoline. This is one thing I believe needs to change.

To the best of my knowledge: Once you add the special oil for two-stroke engines such as lawnmowers & snowblowers, you're not supposed to use it in your car's tank. If you're not supposed to use gas with two-stroke engine oil in it for your car, there has to be some way of disposing of it. I wish this would be a service that the disposal complex would provide.

Went to drop off paint cans...it was 2:50 and the white trash girl wouldn't let me in when they close at 3. It would literally take me 30 seconds to drop them off and leave and after a couple minutes of haggling she finally screams at me: "FINE, I'LL GIVE YOU 2 MINUTES!" I was in and out. TOB needs to hire better workers than lazy and miserable shrieking slackers

Ridiculous that the oil bins should be closed at all, are they afraid someone will steal the foul stuff?

A little difficult to find, but I'm happy there is a place you can bring oil to be recycled if you are TOB resident. TOB sanitation s generally top notch in my opinion.

Great place to get car or trailer weighed for motor vehicles.
