The guy is simply rude. Skin tone has nothing to do with it. Ive inquired about an engine, ive asked about some informations and he told me $4000, without even providing the mileage. He said he can give me the VIN.

Stay away! Owner of this spot is old school, and very rude. However, I feel that if my skin color was white, I would have been treated a lot better. Came down there to check a door out, and the owner wouldn’t even budge slightly. Also, his attitude is very cocky.
I traveled far for a part that turned out to be bad, and this even after the price i had on the phone was $40 i paid $75, service was great and they seem sincere, i know how they are about refunds so i asked for store credit so they could keep it in the store, they said they would let me know, but never did, so i ate it.
Went Back service is still great, they saved me this time around! hey second chances!
The owner of this place is very rude to anyone who is not Caucasian. He lies about the condition of the parts he sells and calls customers out of their name. He also owns land in glen cove and a couple tenants also told me he’s very rude to them also. Please do not give this foul human being your hard earned money
Called to confirm they had a hood for my car. Told me they did and that I could come pick it up 3 days later. Drove an hour to go pick it up and they had sold it to someone else when I got there. If you're interested in decent people with any sense of customer service, go elsewhere.
I searched for 2 days on the computer looking for a special kind of transmission that only my 2005 CPU has, Glen Cove auto not only had one but they held it for me till I could get there. Really nice guys there, they loaded it in my trunk for me , guaranteed the transmission and I would definitely reccomend them to my New York friends. Thanks Rich.
Very shady place. I live 30 minutes away, I asked for a specific part which they claimed to have had. There are two different builds with different connectors for this year model, they said that it was the right one that I am looking for. When I went in, they said they only had one and tried to sell me the wrong part and told me so over the phone that this was the only available part in stock and said it is in fact the one for my vehicle. Luckily for me, I knew what build I had and what to look for.
They knew exactly what they were doing because their system is able to decipher specific parts to specific vins.
I’m sure they may get away with people who do not know about cars, but don’t sit here and try and pull a fast one on me for a quick buck.
My time is very valuable.
They will try to sell you the wrong part purposely, be careful when buying used parts from this company and try to take a person who is knowledgeable with you or can advise you.
Always a friendly phone call with knowledgeable staff for used parts. Even if they don’t have what your looking for in stock they will help you locate it.
Please patronize this business. It is definitely a rough atmosphere seeing all the issues that can be had. I had an issue with a mid year part that had a serious interchange of over 16 different computer options and they guided me to exactly what needed to be done.
