Not sure about the other reviews but I came on here to really say these guys did their job on delivering a Honda motor the next given business day to CT, dropped off with paperwork and everything. Will purchase from them again the far future. Thanks guys. 🇩🇴

Would highly recommend this distributor to anyone looking for auto parts. The guys working at the front desk were helpful when I needed a new compressor for my air conditioning system in my Honda CRV. My air now runs good as new again.

I’ve been coming here for years and different generations of family members as well. We love this place and it is a staple in Freeport. Thank you for all you do for our community

This place is total garbage , and the new owner with his old workers are total dumps, most the cars they have are from flooded area that means all his inventory is useless because it's flooded specially the electric parts and the rest of the metal parts won't last because it was in saltwater, so everything he has is not worth buying, I would go to another place to buy my parts , beside the people there think they are engineers and they doing you a favor for selling you a damaged parts and won't take it back . 👎👎👎👎👎👎

If I could rate a zero I would. Brief summary, called for a bumper and asked if they can check for any damages bc no pic was on the listing and also considering the place was a bit of a drive. They replied nasty saying No Im good, you can take the drive and check yourself. I Showed & was told it was out front and to take a look. No bumper was out front. They then said they were looking for the bumper so I calmly waited 45 min for them to just tell me they either can’t find it or lost it. Crazy to me, waste of a ride and time. DONT COME HERE THEY’ll WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

These guys suck. Called in from a shop and they put me on hold for 25 mins. I call back and they have the nerve to ask me why I hung up and called again. Don’t EVER buy from here. Every single person you speak to from here has an attitude and don’t know how to talk to people. I hope they go out of business soon. They don’t deserve to be around. And to top it off, engine I inquired about had “101k miles”. I asked for the vin, ran the car fax and it had 266k miles. Don’t trust these snakes.

Everyone at this place has an attitude they all try to be a smart*ss when u ask a question as a customer. If I could give zero stars I would. Would never recommend this place to anyone

Spanish guy at the desk who is in charge told me 400$ and verbally promised warranty on the part over the phone conversation. When I arrived price changed to 700$ and no warranty!!! Plus part was damaged. Owners should be very careful on picking their representatives who are at the desk communicating with clients. Very rude and unprofessional. Wasted my time and money

The Staff was thoughtful and very knowledgeable. I had problems getting parts for my 911 (2005) and a 2002 Thunderbird until they took good care of me. They were reliable and very fair in the several transactions I had with them over the past 2 months. I would certainly recommend them.

DO NOT BUY from FREEPORT AUTO PARTS NY or trust the manager DC. The whole establishment is a fraud. They sold me a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500 transmission with 77,000 miles for $1,200. We drove 7 hours RT from PA TO NY for this purchase. My mechanic informed me there is 100,000 miles attached to 77k based on the state of condition and carfax history report. With no other immediate options due to $$ or a working car - we installed it. At the very end of the two months warranty - it failed 4th gear. I am now out of work, out of a transmission, and out $1,200. They are crooks and are putting whatever mileage they want attached to parts to make a sale!

One of the worst experiences I ever had guy at front desk. The Spanish guy at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful. When ask what was his problem he told me to get the hell out of his store. I simply ask the guy do you carry Bmw batteries here. He then with snarky look on his face, then said what do you think? So I replied that’s not how you talk to customers….You know what what happened after that comment! SMH…..

Been going here over 30 year's. The customer service is horrible now. I'm guessing because of new ownership or management. The workers lie about returns if part doesn't work on vehicles.The owner or manager (Vinny) let's the workers speak to customers any way he wants. Please get in writing your return policy. Definitely lost my business and a couple of the locals because of there actions.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had , made a simple phone call to inquiry about a vehicle , asked them if it was for sale they said yes and proceed to give an unreasonable amount for a price for a vehicle that does not run or drive , and when I said “isn’t that a little too much for a vehicle that doesn’t work “ rudely just says “well that’s what we want” and hangs up the phone immediately. Never go to this place don’t even bother calling because you’ll be met with disgusting and rude people over the phone and in person .

Literally bought an ecu for a client, drove back 15minutes back to the shop... we have a bench harness to test ECUs, it would not connect to it and therefore we know it is dead. Called right away and asked to get a replacement or return it... was told as soon as you walk out the door that it is no returns, no exceptions. No wonder they only do CASH transactions so they don't have to get hit with legitimate chargebacks for selling parts that aren't working.

I ordered a really simple rear door order. It began with the door is on the way. Three days later they brought a door only it was the wrong door, which led to a great deal of unnecessary stress and anxiety. When they finally got the correct door it was delivered damaged. They wouldn’t even take off for the damage. Try another junkyard is my advice to the consumer. They even had the audacity to I was desperate, they confused determined with despair. Maybe you May be lucky and read this review before your buy from these amateurs. By the way I was a dealer for over 30 years.

Made me wait over an hour for a part that was badly damaged and they had the audacity to sell it at an absurd price . The workers are arrogant and disregard the customer. Was very disrespectful to me when i tried to be as respectful and understanding as i could be. Please don't give these people any service.

Told me they had a door on hand for 150 I traveled from ct to pick up and they told me the door was for 300. Definitely not professional as they do not honor their word, I’m a person that likes to deal with straightforward people and think those business needs to be supported, wouldn’t go there unless it’s my only option just saying.

Worst place to get parts from. They give outrages prices for items that are broken or sitting in the sun all day. These people who sit in the front desk don’t know what they are talking about and say maybe it will fit? But dont give you the assurance you buy these parts for and they don’t end up fitting!!! No cash back ONLY STORE CREDIT. If you come here run!!!! People are not professionals at all. Don’t do business they suck

Called for part they said it just came in and they have it. Great. Went there next day early told me it was sold last week. Weekend guy gave me the info on part. Needed another part could pick it up later. Was in area stopped by was told mechanics did not come in today. So that plan squashed. Then the hours were hard to be there by 5. Mentioned to him I work the hours are not good for me. I work. If I was retired or unemployed or on welfare then it would be ok. The guy was flipping out saying "I don't care anything about that or your life. We don't affect Know one's life. You don't make a difference. No one does. Very offensive Everytime I deal with him there is an issue. Don't know if I will ever go back tired of him. The other employees never a problem. Will never deal with him again. Wonder how many opportunities are lost by him. He needs retraining or something to be left in charge.

Worst customer service in the auto industry. Had a part on order, told me Friday, didn't show up, Monday comes around same story, now Tuesday and still haven't seen it. Guy on the phone says wait for it or buy it from someone else. Guess what I'm going to do.

My brother told me about this place. I went there to get a crankshaft pulley for my Honda Accord. The owner is a very knowledgeable and very courteous, great guy. I got the pulley but I needed a keyway and they did not have it. He sent me to another spot close by and I got the keyway. I definitely recommend anyone looking to find used parts for their car to use Freeport Auto Parts and Wrecking Corp. Good people to deal with.

I got the part I needed but to make someone feel uncomfortable for not wanting to speak Spanish and for going into talking about the people I date... none of your business and inappropriate. Service can be better to say the least
