Been going there since I'm 18 years old and I'm 48 now....Never had a problem with 2 brothers...very nice and helpful staff...they are very fair and go out of there way to help there customers...keep up the good work guys..
Horrible changes going on, really going down the drain as far as a business!!! No one speaks English enough for business, they do not understand when you ask a question, only point their finger- why!?? Given wrong area to drive around to drop scrap metal. Will never come here again and would NEVER recommend to anyone!!
Highly recommend NOT USING this scrap yard. Had 500MCM copper wire , because it had oxidation on it I got half of what I should have gotten. Always bring in the same stuff and never got beat like this . It’s a low way to rip off loyal customers . Never again will I go back there . Take your scrap to Arrow or any other place who doesn’t rip people off .
Watch this place they will rip you off in a heartbeat. They took off a 100 pounds of pure copper weight because of a few pieces of tape on 1 or 2 piece of pipe. Total Rip-off
One of the best place to make money! Nevertheless cleaning up the environment by less scrap metal to the landfill and turning them into cash! My effort is underpaid but a good deed for the future!
15 minutes before closing I got refused to have aluminum taken from meanwhile I was already on line from dumping a truck of light iron, a tall white American wearing glasses was very rude about it and I was very annoyed by it , very unprofessional how he responded. They should change the hours to 3:45pm in that case if there not gonna stay till 4pm. Very rude
Very wide, excellent, plethora of different metals! Anything you need from heavy gauge steel to light gauge aluminum! Whenever I need some metal or heavy metal this is my go to spot! Heavy metal 4 life \m/
You need to know how much weight of any metal.you're dropping off, they'll rip you off, suggestions walk in with a body cam and video tape the whole process.
If you haven't been there before there are little to no directions on telling a person where they should be going. You have to ask questions depending on what you're dropping off.
They took apart my car when I was driving past. 5 little gnome-like men stopped my car as a much larger giant-like man picked my car up and shook me out. He proceeded to chomp down on my car and spit out the scrap. I am extremely disappointed as I was on my way to my aunt's funeral. Rest in peace Josh (ant) I give a one out of 10!
I have been going here for years and have seen the prices of things wildly change from day to day on the same items depending on who was running the scale. They will over estimate Tare weights and categorize your metal differently to pay you less. I have switched to arrow Scrap a few miles away in west babylon on Kean Street. Much more fair operation. Stay away from this place
Two Brothers is a great place to come drop off the items that you really want top get rid of, but aren't sure quite what to do with them or if they could be possibly worth some money. The staff is friendly and super fast. Just weigh in and you are on your way almost immediately. Make sure they are your first visit or call when you have scrap to deal with.
This place is a rip off i go to alot of different scrap yards and this is the only place that gives 3.5 cents per pound for steel appliances while everyone else gives 6-7 cents per pound... save ur junks and take them somewhere else!!!
I'm a little shocked at these low ratings. Our company scraps metal here on average about 4 times a week and we've never had a problem. Super friendly workers and quick turn around time. Two Brothers Junk Removal recommends going to Two Brothers Scrap Metal ;) and no we are not affiliated.
offered me 1.30$ for #1 bare bright copper wire when the going rate is anywhere from 1.70$ to 1.90$ per pound. I asked the women on the phone if she was sure she's looking at the correct price for bare bright not copper tubing and she rudely told me " she's 100% right". I told her the going rate then she says hold on and then tells me 1.40$ lb it went up lol unreal. i understand everyone needs to make their ends but .30-.50 cents lower then the scrap yard 2 blocks away is a joke!!
called and was told would pick up the next day. Me and 3 female friends took the items out front as asked to do, not an easy task since I am also female. no show by 4 pm, called and was told we didn't have enough scrap for them to pick up so they cancelled the pick up arrangements; however, they did not let us know this and now 4 women have 2 appliances sitting in their front yard - when called they were VERY RUDE and apologized for not calling us to let us know it was cancelled - I don't know how RUDE COMPANIES stay in business.
Went with about 20 lbs of lead .. at least 10 bucks rite . NO. $.50. Charged it as steel thinking I dont know the difference. Complaint about it would not give the money or metal back. There excuse , there was a steel screw was mixed in. Less than a ounce of steel . DO NOT GO... NEVER AGAIN
